Peace of paradise

This property is great! The screened in back porch is beautiful and the access to the pond to fish is right in the back yard! The location is very convenient to the pool and beach access. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay here!

Cute house

The property was cute and felt very Beachy. Beth was very responsive and kind. The check in and out process was very easy as well. I would definitely recommend to someone who is looking for a simple, cozy, clean, and affordable beach house to rent.

Enjoyed our week!

The house is cute, plenty of room, and we really enjoyed the enclosed patio out back. We rented a golf cart and rode it to the beach every day and all around the village. Best way to get around. Beth was great to work with, she responded quickly to any message I sent her. Check in was very smooth. I will definitely consider staying here again.

A place you can relax! This place is fantastic for so many reasons. Lakefront, Close to the Ocean. Screened in porch is a huge plus. Decorated so beachy and furnished for comfort. It’s accommodated in such a way you can just “live.” The host is fantastic and very responsive. Very clean, has everything you need and ready for fun! 10/10 will try and make it back!

Perfect for us!

We had a little family vacation (two of our families combined) and loved this property and the community! The house was cozy and clean, and the size was perfect for us. The three toddlers we have insisted we do everything on the screened patio. It was a nice area to eat, play games, and just visit. They also loved the pool and splash pad. When we weren’t at the beach, we were usually there. There were some good restaurants within 10 minutes of the house. Check in was a breeze. Beth was wonderful! She was responsive before our trip and all throughout. I’d definitely recommend this property for a trip to this area!

Disappointed

We've been staying in oceanside village for probably 30+ years and this was, hands down, the worst experience to date. The listing *originally* had the golf cart but it died the second day we were there (we had to tow it back to the house) and I got nothing but attitude then radio silence from the host who finally replied that the golf cart wasn't even included in her listing....but this was our second year in a row staying at this exact house and it most definitely WAS included before she changed the listing. My entire family was mysteriously sick while at the house but fine anytime we left for the day and we couldn't figure out why until we found all the black mold on the window ac unit in the living room and on the ceiling in the kitchen. 0/10 I do NOT recommend staying here until it has a serious deep clean done! Stay at your own risk. My mom and son with breathing issues are still sick from staying there.

We are very sorry that you were disappointed in your stay at our beach house. If you did stay at this home last year, you are correct, the golf cart was included, but since, I have taken over the property due to my father passing, and it is not included. No where on the listing or in the rental agreement does it say, Golfcart included. So actually you took and drove something without my permission. During your stay at my home, I promptly replied to the few messages that you sent during your stay but not one time did you ever mention anything about a concern with mold or you family being sick because of. If you would have, I would have definitely sent my cleaning team over to take care of it. All I got was a message on the day you left for a threat of a bad review if I did not compensate for a Golfcart that was not included in the rental to begin with, and that there was mold on the slits of the window unit and a spot smaller than my hand on the kitchen ceiling. When you sent me that message after you checked out, I called my cleaning lady and had her go right out. There was no mold on the window unit. Any time you use a window unit, it is pulling in air and it does pull in sand and dust. It was not black mold. The spot on the kitchen ceiling was a stain from a leak that has been there for ever. It has been cleaned with bleach before, but it still is just a stain.

2022 Family Vacation Complete

A week packed full of ocean play, swimming pool fun, fishing, movies and playing cards on the patio! Enough space for all 7 of us. We will definitely try to get this place again!!

The property was great. We all a good time. I loved sitting out on the screened in porch watching the geese and the swans. We rented a golf cart, and my grandsons loved riding all over the property. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were close enough to walk to the beach if we chose to. The house was very conveniently located near the pools and community center. It was also was very clean and inviting. The only minor inconvenience was that the master bath typically stayed pretty warm. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely rent from Beth again!

Wonderful view

Wonderfully decorated. It is a cute little home on the lake with great access to everything. Community pools and puddle pad were very nice and open till 10pm which is great after a day on the beach.. The house definitely needs some maintenance and a good deep clean. The golf cart included was awesome but we still rented one from the community please be aware the golf cart gate keeper is SUPER RUDE!!! She was nasty on the phone and even more in person.

Fall Bike Week

We love the house. It was clean and in a great location overlooking a pond and just a few blocks from the private beach access. It's a few miles from all the Bike Rally event locations. The golf cart was a great convenience since we were on motorcycles. We cooked dinner on the grill and loved spending most of our time at the house on the screened in porch. We would definitely stay there again!

A few snags but still a mostly good stay

Had trouble checking in at the security gate to the neighborhood of the property, but that seemed to be more the fault of the security people over the property area. Would have liked a quicker response at check-in from the owner to help resolve instead of being stuck in limbo for a couple hours, but ultimately settled well once we were cleared. The VRBO listing wrongly had internet as an amenity, which was a particular issue with me trying to keep up with work a little bit while away. Other than that, the trip and property were satisfactory.

Dishonest owner

We booked our weekend trip about a month in advance. One week before our trip I seen that a hurricane was coming through. I contacted the property owner 1 week ahead of our trip to see what our options were. She assured me if I didnt come I would get a refund. We were supposed to arrive the day the storm hit. We decided to wait and see how much damage was done before going. We came down the next day, and she agreed to refund us for the night we didnt stay. For months she has avoided my attempts to contact her about receiving the refund. I finally spoke to her, she asked for my address so she could send me a check. I texted her a few weeks later, she said she had mailed it a few days ago. It has been 3 weeks since she said she mailed me my check, and has not responded to my calls or text. Also hallway bathroom didnt work.
