We had a wonderful time. The cute cottage is just a very short walk from the Lake and downtown area. The location was ideal for our needs, and the weather was great, too!

Great Cottage in Perfect Location

My wife, our three children (5, 9 & 11) and I stayed at this great cottage and had an amazing time. The location could not be better. You can walk to the boat slip, association beach, restaurants, ice cream shop and general store, all within a few minutes. The description was accurate and the owner was very responsive. What you see is what you get. It is stocked with just about everything you would need for a great time at the lake. Walloon Lake is also beautiful. The best feature of the cabin is the location. It couldn't be better in my opinion. We loved our stay and hope to go back sometime.

Nice. Modest cottage. Exactly as described

This is small cottage within easy waking distance of lake. Located very cliose to Walloon Village. Owner is easy to work with honest in listing.. Stay could be improved with sheets and towels provided (he did tell us we had to bring our own so there were no surprises in this regard), mattresses need to be replaced - since there were more beds than guest so we did our best Goldilocks and tried to find “unsaggy” mattress without success. Owner is apparently trying to get work done and I realize hard to get contractors but would be great if there was construction materials left on site (there was no inconvenience//work) going on during stay—- just contractor materials laying around on deck, car port, yard and rear outbuilding), All that being said excellent stay from an honest owner with whom it was easy to communicate

Highly recommend!

Had a lovely time and Joe was great about answering questions. Home was immaculately clean and was stocked with everything you could possibly imagine. Location was incredible, just wish the water/dock were closer. Neighbors were delightful and very helpful. Highly recommend!!

Excellent Stay

The house and area was perfect. The house had everything we needed in it. The mattresses were all very comfortable, the portable a/c units worked great, kitchen was well stocked, and the place was extremely clean. I feel we could eat off the floor if we wanted to! The owner, Joe, was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. The house is walkable to the little beach area, firepits, restaurants, ice cream, and the village store. The boat slip was nice to have as well as we did rent a boat from the marina about 200 feet from the house. And of course the lake is just beautiful. Just like we remembered. We will be back!

Ideal Cottage

Cottage is just as described- just footsteps from the lake and cozy/comfortable. Having a dedicated boat slip and doc was awesome! We would highly recommend this ideal location. Thanks for making our vacation splendid! Our drive was worth it!

only issue we had was that there were no bed linens. Maybe it was in the small print somewhere, but it was not comfortable sleeping on a mattress pad with no sheets or pillowcases.

Quiet getaway

The property was well stocked with what we needed and was clean. The second floor was a little warm but was completely manageable once we found the AC unit. We would stay again. Thanks for the lovely getaway.
