Resort review

We arrived a day early and you were very accommodating, we were able to add a night very short notice. Resort was impressive with beautiful landscaping and beautiful pools.

Fabulous Getaway

This was a great rental unit for two people. The location was good as it did not take long to get to local attractions. If you are not planning on going to theme parks, there is plenty to do on site. We really enjoyed the pools, outside sitting area with fire pits, and Drafts restaurant. I had a few questions upon arrival and they were answered quickly. We look forward to renting here again.

Great stay

We loved our stay, the property had many things to do, we just didn’t have enough time to enjoy them. The room was nice, however the bathroom definitely needs some upgrading. The shower door got stuck and appears to be coming apart. Other than that it was great!

My wife and I and my two children fell in love with this place, well located (between Universal and Disney), there is Walmart 1 mile away, it has a wonderful resort with swimming pools and very clean bathrooms! Very happy and dedicated employees (from the reception to the cleaners), everything very well taken care of, safe and accommodating place, the sunset is beautiful in an area full of wild animals and birds. (excellent mattress) I could write much more here if I could.5000 stars

The property was nice. We didn’t take advantage of the pools or anything since we spent our days at MegaCon. We had the worst check in experience with Sarah. She didn’t give us a map or parking pass. Another counter person had to finish us up. It took us more than an hour to even get in our apartment,

Pet policy

When they say pets are welcome they actually only mean dogs, we brought the family cat that is trained to travel well and, is spayed, and has claw caps. Front desk could not make accommodations. We had to board her with strangers when we had brought her on the 8 hour trip to travel with us. Wording is incorrect. Pets are not welcome, dogs (of a small size) are welcome.

Want something right in the middle?

This place has many al a carte features. First off it’s monitored 24hrs by security. There is a shop/market open 24hrs. Sports bar on site. Multiple pools and walking trails. A great mix of people from business travelers, families, young folks etc. If your Coming to town for the convention center events, I would advise using Turo to rent a car. You can Uber but it’s 3.4 miles away and about $10-$15 per trip depending on volume. Rooms are comfy and great for sleeping. This place isn’t a luxury resort so if that’s what your looking for go to the Hyatt, Ritz or four seasons. If you want a place to sleep that is comfortable and has all the amenities you need like a kitchen, fridge, microwave, comfy bed and a patio to sit on this is it.

Convenient location

Pros: Water park was fun. It's a healthy walk from the room to the water park. Shuttles were available on a limited basis. The resort overall was huge and clean. The room overlooked a small pool and had a nice screened in porch. Cons: Parking was very limited. We had to park in the onsite parking deck near the entrance which was approximately 10 min. walk to the room. As noted above, the property is huge and requires a lot of walking. The check-in process was absurd. We checked in at night and waited in line for an hour. Many guests making special requests and room changes slowed the process to a crawl. Curbside check in was not available that night. Highly recommend using it if it's working. There is a decent onsite grocery if you need supplies but prices were very high (you pay for convenience of not having to walk all the way to the car, leave the property, and find a grocery store).

We appreciated how quick Steve was to respond to our request and the ease of going through the reservation process for the Westgate resort. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was very nice, clean and updated. We had a beautiful view of the lake off our balcony which we enjoyed with our morning coffee. We would stay at this location again in the future.

Far above expectations

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The customer service was very exceptional. The staff made us feel very welcomed and communicated better than any other place we have stayed before. The only negative was an area by our sink hadn't been cleaned resulting in us having ants. The staff responded very quickly though to get the problem resolved. I regret that we didn't get to take the tour here due to bad weather and timing. We would definitely like to come back and get the full experience of the resort. The beds were very comfortable, even the pull out. The location was so perfect, putting us pretty much right in the center of all major attractions. We never had to travel more than 15 min to find most of what we wanted to do. This place is great for families, but private enough for some adult time as well.

Nice place, few small quirks, great deal !

We stayed here for 3 nights . This is an amazing deal and a great resort . A few things that really didn’t effect us but was slightly annoying, bathtub wasn’t fully cleaned when we got here and the shower handle was broke. Other than that , it was really amazing. Great staff, beautiful property, will definitely be back!
