Situé à plusieurs centaines de mètres du bord de l'eau, ce joyau de Dana Point est situé entre la plage de Laguna au nord et la plage de San Clemente au sud. Situé sur une falaise, le condo a une vue fantastique sur Doheny Beach et l'océan bleu et une vue sur l'île de Catalina et les belles lumières du port de Dana Point. Doheny Beach est à deux minutes en voiture du bluff ou à 10 minutes à pied et a des foyers et des bancs de pique-nique. Restaurants, épiceries, théâtres, églises, centres commerciaux, etc. sont à quelques minutes. Amazing property and location! Must visit!

Wow! What an amazing property! We had an fantastic time during our stay. The condo has the perfect location and view. The place was impeccably clean and ready for us upon move-in and and the host was able to provide us easy guidance on check in and check out. He was also very responsive to any questions we had. If you are coming to Southern California, I heavily recommend this spot.

Our escape from Phoenix to the Jewel of Dana point was a godsend, and we didn’t let COVID-19 Get in Our way! Everything was perfect, from the accommodations, the location, views, restaurants, shopping - Etc. etc.! Peter was a perfect host, making sure that everything was top notch! We are looking forward to our summer stay in 2022!

Already Looking Forward to Our Return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Jewel of Dana Point, a lovely condo with an amazing view and location! It really worked well for our family - the livability and amenities (including the fire table, pool, and park) were appreciated and enjoyed by all. Convenient to everything SoCal, our month went by quickly. The condo was perfect for our family, a private and spacious floor plan, cook's kitchen and space to simply sit and visit. Our hosts were very gracious and available as needed. We are grateful for the many memories we made during our stay, and this beautiful property will be on the top of our list when we look to return again for an extended visit!

A GEM ON THE PACIFIC! We had the good fortune of staying in this beautiful condo for nearly six months and did not tire one bit of the stunning views from the deck and the master bedroom - right from the bed itself. Sun sets too were stunning, almost every evening. The condo is well furnished, neat and well maintained. Everything is even more beautiful than in the photos. Location is perfect - app. an hour away from LAX (to the north), San Diego (to the south) and Catalina Island. Great restaurants in nearby Laguna Beach. Peter was always very helpful, and is a warm and wonderful host. We had a marvelous time!

Exceptional seaside condo!!

The perfect condo for our 2 month Dana Point stay with my husband and two kids (aged 2 and 4). The listing does not do this property justice! The location is only minutes away from the beach, shops and all the amenities that you need. The swimming pool and tennis court was a quick 1min walk across the road and the park opposite the property was a real bonus, we went there every evening with the kids for them to get their last energy burn for the day. The sunsets are magical, and the incredible view and waking up to the sound of the ocean was a real treasure. Peter is so lovely to deal with and extremely responsive with any queries or maintenance requests. Would highly recommend this property to anyone and hope we can stay again!

Amazing View!

The highlight of our stay here was The View! Unobstructed views of Doheny Beach, the ocean's horizon and Dana Point Harbor can be seen from the private deck outside, from the comfy sofa and dining table downstairs, and from the luxurious master suite upstairs. The western facing walls are nearly all view! At night we slept with the upstairs sliding doors slightly open and were lulled to sleep by Doheny's lapping waves. The condo is large, comfortable, and welcoming. Easy to entertain our friends here. Nice and quite. Along with the view, Peter's hospitality and attentiveness is exceptional. Peter is likeable, prompt with replies, and so welcoming. He even went way out of his way to do a very big favor for me after we were back in Seattle!We already have plans to stay at Jewel of Dana Point next Winter.

A Diamond in the Heart of Southern California

Thank you, Peter, for allowing us to rent your condo for the month of February 2012. What a wonderful way to escape the cruel winter in the Midwest. The view from the downstairs living area and the upstairs master bedroom is spectacular! We never tired of watching the ocean and hearing its waves. You're right when you say that you have the best condo in all of Orange County! It was spotlessly clean and contained every comfort and amenity that we could possibly desire. We especially enjoyed the firepit on the deck in the cool evenings. Dana Point has some amazing walking paths high up on the cliffs or along the beach. We played golf, took the Surfliner to Old Town San Diego,attended the golf tourney at Riviera Country Club, and went to Catalina Island and enjoyed lunch at the Wrigley Mansion.We tried many of the 134 restaurants, our favorites being L'Hirondelle in San Juan and Gemmell's in the harbor. If we return to southern CA, we will definitely stay here again and I'd recommend this property to any of my friends.

Fabulous Stay

We are a group of 3 couples who just returned from a beautiful and relaxing trip to California. Our first week was spent in Dana Point and it was a huge blessing to have come across this property on VRBO. The description of the the properties and the pictures shown do not give it justice. Once seen in person you will realize that you have definately scored a touchdown. We arrived later in the evening but the directions Peter had provided made it super easy to find the home. We did a quick count of what was provided in the property before we did our grocery and beverage run and we were quite pleased that everything was well thought out and included. All we needed was our food and beverages. Just down the hill is a grocery store and a Costco (and a nail salon for the ladies) for all your basic needs during your stay. The condo itself was perfect for the 6 of us. The layout and the furnishings we luxuriuous and the deck with a view was a highlight every evening. The pool was across the lane and was never busy and if you wanted the beach it was just a short drive down the hill. All in all, this was a perfect location to use a base camp for seeing the sights. We ventured up to LA a couple times and to San Diego another. We drove the coast highway to Laguna and Newport Beach (girls wanted to shop) and everyhwere in between and all within a 30 minute drive. Note: Stop at the Ritz Carlton for a drink and the best view you will ever see in southern California! Thanks so much Peter. We hope we will cross paths again. Forever Ocean View in Dana Point

Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome overlooking Doheny Beach and Louise Layton Park. Dana Point location was perfect and convenient to all the shops and restaurants in the newly developed downtown/harbor area. Dana Point has a great, casual beach vibe. My husband and I stayed for five weeks. Perfect base for visiting with our children and grandchildren.

Spectacular view - beautiful home

A person has an almost 180 degree view overlooking the Pacific. This condo home is a special find! Gorgeous’ spacious interior, Modern appliances, and beautifully furnished. Peter, the owner’ was accessible and helpful. Highest recommendation.

We had an amazing time at Peter's condo. It is truly a home away from home and very well laid out. We loved the attached garage with a 2nd fridge which is perfect in the age of Covid. There is a big table in the garage where we would sanitize stuff and leave it in the garage fridge. The condo is perfectly laid out and everything you need for an extended stay is there. It is quiet at night and the heat works great. But, the crown jewel is the deck and views which are FABULOUS. We spent hours there and there was simply no better way to end the day than with a glass of wine and the fire going. The view from the master bedroom is even more mesmerizing and waking up to the shimmering Pacific is priceless. Our only regret is we didn't book for longer when we had a chance.

Jewel of Dana Point

Peter's home on Dana Point Bluffs was incredible and very classy. . We could sit on the huge balcony and felt like we were actually sitting on Doheny/Capistrano beach. You could hear the waves crashing and watch all the boats and kayaks and jet skiers and surfers in the water. the house was set up with everything you needed to cook a great meal, even the Viking stove was nice to cook on. The beds upstairs were all comfortable and easy to fall asleep in. We traveled all around Dana Point and San Clemente but you could just he condo your entire stay and just sit on the balcony for hours watching the ocean. It was nice parking your car in the garage. All the neighbors on both sides of us were so friendly and would talk to us from their balcony.

Paradise in Capi Beach

My family and I stayed here over 3 months while our house was getting remodeled. Peter is quite the host always checking in and made sure all our needs were met. It was very nice hearing the waves crash as I went to sleep. There is a small green belt where the children can play and Pines Park is a 1 mile bike ride with the family! I can’t say enough on how much we enjoyed our stay! Who would ever think remodeling would be so much fun?!!!

Best Place to stay in Dana Point, We Love It

Our expectation was exceeded when we entered the condo of Peter. Reality is much better than the pictures posted. Everything you need is just there in well organized manner. The condo is very clean, has a stunning view of the ocean, you can hear the ocean waves even from the 2 backside rooms. All the family was very happy and satisfied. It is closed to the beach, supermarket, coffee shops, everything you need. Swimming pool is few steps from the condo. It is really a value of money. The most important is the extended hospitality of Peter, he came himself to say Hi and we spent very nice time together, we felt that we know him since long time back. When we needed minor maintenance; he highly concerned and promptly sent the technician who fixed this minor issue. We love it, and will be back soon :)

The Best Place ever

We spend two months a year in CA to take the heart out of the winter. We have rented several places over the years and this property is the Best Ever. Why? For so many reasons: High quality interior, panoramic views of the ocean from the living area as well as the MBR, large spacious rooms, dining table positioned for views, a large well outfitted deck, privacy, attached garage, accessibility to grocery shopping and a caring owner. We are returning next year. This is now our go to place.

Above and Beyond!

This gorgeous condo exceeded our expectations, it was even better than the pictures! Everything is high quality and well maintained. The condo complex was quiet and perfectly located, with the most comfortable beds ever. Thank you Peter and Eve for being available for any assistance. A Jewel Indeed!

I stayed at this beautiful condo for the month of November & loved every minute of it. My daughter attends Chapman University, so it was close enough to see her frequently, yet far enough away to enjoy a bit of privacy. Peter & Eve take wonderful care of the property and are available 24/7 for any questions. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms ample in size, the family room & kitchen well appointed and the extra amenities were abundant. The view from the glorious deck is to die for - and the sunsets are remarkable from it. We enjoyed many a night on the deck with the cozy fire pit lit. I am a rather finicky traveler and I would quickly return to this property and easily recommend it with 5 stars!

An 11 out of 10!

Exquisite. Breathtaking. Spectacular. Even the most discerning of travellers would be highly impressed by this luxe townhouse-style condo. With close proximity to Laguna and Newport Beach, a world of experiences and adventures are at your fingertips. Dana Point itself is also absolutely lovely (and a new favourite destination). I hope to be back in the area again soon, and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if Peter's property is available.

Views to die for

Sitting on the deck enjoying beautiful sunsets and watching the surfers in the early mornings was fabulous. We loved spending a month without air conditioning, sleeping to the sounds of the waves. We were so close to the beaches, a 5 min drive to the state beach or 7 mins to the Ritz hotel and its beach. So close to everything Dinner or shopping in Laguna or Newport Beach. Or going to the races in Del Mar. The unit is furnished with everything you possibly can think of and the owners are right there if you need anything. The neighbors are quiet and considerate. Havin a place large enough for our grandchildren to visit was ideal.

Exceptional Property

We have been coming to Dana Point for five years now and enjoy all the area has to offer. While we have stayed in a number of places this the best ever from the views to the well appointed kitchen to a great floor plan. Peter and his wife do a super job in making the property ready for occupancy and stay connected throughout the visit to ensure all is well.

The perfect beach house

Our family stayed in this wonderful oceanfront home for a month. Wished we could stay forever!! The view from the deck is jaw dropping. Our favorite place to hang every night is the spacious deck to watch the everchanging sunsets, and then start the fire pit to enjoy some appetizers before dinner. The house had everything we needed to feel like home but still be on a dream vacation. The kitchen is a chef's dream. Peter, the owner, is excellent to work with. He was very responsive and stocked the house with everything we needed plus more. The location is fantastic since you are far away enough for privacy and quiet, but close to shops, restaurants, and the harbor. We love going to breakfast at Stacks. We loved walking on the beach and exploring tide pools near the Ocean Institute. We would definitely stay again.
