Our stay was great. The location was close to Old Town LQ and the Cove hiking trails. The house worked very well for 4 friends and gave us each our own bedroom/bathroom. It would be a bit easier to enjoy the property if there were some written instructions available there regarding the iPad controller for the pool / spa and check-out preferences like leaving towels on the washer or stripping beds or trash day (we did nothing because there were no instructions). The only complaint we had about our stay was that the hot tub would not go above 95 degrees, which is warm and not hot. David, the leasing agent, was very responsive about it, but the temp never got up to 104 (where it appeared to be set). Overall, though, we were very happy with it and would go back.

We had a great stay in La Quinta. The home is located in a quiet areas with a few parks and walking trails near by. The house is spacious and had enough room for our family of 6. The home is well stocked with kitchen items, cleaning supplies and towels. Check-in and check out was easy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

Loved this location!

We visit the desert often, so we’re glad we found this place. It can handle 5 singles comfortably or 10 people if they don’t mind sharing beds. Close to all accommodations, quiet neighborhood. Simply a lovely location. Will book again.

Host Not Responsive

Nice house. Host not responsive or helpful which is disappointing because I stay at a lot of VRBO and the majority of the house are excellent.1. Sent him a note prior to arrival to check if there was a Keurig coffee maker – no response2. Master door gets jammed. We had to go outside and around the house to get into the kitchen and it was dark early in the morning. The host finally replied and said, jiggle the door. Later, we finally got the door opened, and it looked as if the lock was going to fall out no response back from the host to fix so we couldn't close the door all the way. 3. Before departing, sent host a note to ask if there are any specifics regarding checking out. No response.Again, one of the best things about booking with VRBO are the efficiencies of booking and the responsiveness and hospitality of the hosts. The host definitely was lacking here.

A lively quiet location and stay. Plenty of space. Bedrooms are all a good size. Met all our needs! When we contacted David he replied right away and was very helpful!

Hot tub had issues

We only stayed for 4 nights but the hot tub had issues. It took more than a day to get fixed and then still didn't get that hot. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

The Cove weekend

The layout of the house was wonderful for a VRBO with with many adults. The bathrooms and kitchen were impeccably clean. But walls next to entryways and door knobs were not clean and need to be wiped down between guest stays. The furniture outside was cheap and falling apart as well as the sofa inside. I would recommend getting a little high higher dollar sofa so it lasts and it would be more comfortable. Overall, a great space for our family.

Excellent Secluded Property!

Property was very well planned out with plenty of room. Convenient and very easy to get to in a very quiet neighborhood! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. The host was easy to get a hold of and answered all questions in a timely manner. We would definitely consider staying in this unit again.

Wonderful top notch property

The place was really clean and comfortable and felt very luxurious. The only issue was that the check in instructions did not mentioned a locked gate. The gate had a knob with a key so it took a while to reach the owner to ask how to proceed to get to the door with the key code. The key code also was confusing because of the mentions of star symbols on the instructions when there was no stars on the key pad. I would ask the owner if he could put a bit more silverware (spoons and forks) and wanted to mention that the showers were slow to drain. Other than that, I would heartily recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.

Great location and communication

Location was great; we love staying in La Quinta Cove and appreciated the proximity to hiking, Old Town, and pickleball. Amazing mountain views from the pool area and reasonable pool heating costs. Communication with the host was top notch from booking through our stay and appreciate the responsiveness. The house itself is nicely laid out but does need a bit of TLC. There was some obvious wear and tear with a few kitchen cupboard doors missing, non working closet door in one bedroom, and doors that didn’t close to the laundry space. Nothing major that impacted the enjoyment of our stay, but noticeable at first glance. Somewhat understandable given it is a rental. Overall would recommend, as it’s likely these issues will be addressed in the near future and timing was the cause for most.

Perfect House for my Family of 8.

This house was perfect for our family of six adults and two children celebrating Thanksgiving We enjoyed the large kitchen, dinning-room and living-room open floorplan offering plenty of room for all. My grandchildren loved the pool. Nice bathrooms and bedrooms with comfy beds. Only critique would be the 4 lounge chairs by the pool are in rough condition and need to be replaced along with few of the pots and pans in the kitchen.

Nice home.

This was a nice home but needs some attention. Shower door and one of the toilets was broken during our stay. More utensils are needed in the kitchen. Pillows and beds were uncomfortable..
