We loved this place! Wished it would have went slightly different or we would 100% be back again.Pros: close to pier park, very comfortable mattresses, ceiling fans in each bedroom and livingroom, starbucks on the property, free movie theater showing kid friendly movies, 2 swimming pools, everything in the room and the building itself was very clean, further down the beach so its not as much traffic and road noise.Cons: not as much seating in the livingroom. We were a group of 3 so we were comfortable, but only a couch and single chair..Worst con: The woman who owns the beach chair service in front of tidewater makes the beach unbearable. We went with 2 small beach chairs, no umbrellas or tents. We were approached by security once to move because we were too close to the water, a 2nd time to move because we were 6 inches to far back, then a 3rd time to tell us our chair backs were to tall. We could see the owner of the chair service yelling at security, taking pictures of what she didnt see was within rules and harassing most everyone on the beach. Even a group that had rented chairs from her said they were told to close their umbrella (that was also rented) because it wasnt within the time limit she seen fit to have her umbrellas opened. The following day we stayed at the pool to not deal with the her and apparently everyone else did too. There was minimal people on the beach for a condo so large. If the chair company changes owners we would love to be back!

The location was excellent. Had great views of the gulf. The balcony door was hard to open because prior guest had tore the lock off somehow & scratched the frame so it would hang up some. My biggest complaint was the description of the master bedroom said king size bed with view of the gulf. It did have a king size bed but the room was by the hall way. Only view of gulf was kitchen/living room.

Nice but had some flaws

Overall it was pretty good. We did have a hard time getting the balcony doors open they were super heavy. And the ceiling had mold spots above the kitchen table. But staff at the resort was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful Place!

We had a wonderful time, a few hiccups, but it all worked out. Just be prepared to wait on the elevators
 and the patio door is a little hard to open, but it was overall a wonderful stay!

Not what it should have been.

Floors made feet black on first night, dryer was broken so clothes were in washer for 1.5 days while washing for repairs, no parts, found out a new unit was going to be added after we left. The elevators are broken or overcrowded. The pools are the same. Just not relaxing and the Tidewater staff. Not good. A few folks were nice and when fire alarm went off everyone walked or ran to exits and the staff didn't say it was a false alarm, as it was. They just say there and didn't do anything. Never again

Condo

Just the basics.. clean . BUT THE ELEVATORS !!!!! We are in our 60s. If we were older we wouldn’t have made it! We were on the 6th floor so had access to walking up and down the stairs. We decided to pack up the night before at 7:30. Got a cart waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes before the elevator came to 6 th floor!!!! I went down and asked for help 
no help We finally got back to our room at 9:15. BIG X on TIDEWATER!!!

Never stay at Tidewater again

The property management is substandard, my time spent at the elevators waiting equaled more than the time at the pool or beach. An owner was at the elevators one day and tried to tell me they spent $5M on repairs well someone must have gotten a huge payoff because I tried every elevator on the property and they had a wait on everyone. To further explain the housecleaning crew uses the same elevator as the guess to further jam up the process of getting up or down. It’s just not very professional to see housecleaning using the same carts that we use on the beach. When I arrived the toilet in the guest bathroom was not flushing properly and it plugged up when I used it. I tried plunging over night and called the next day only to be told to use one of the other toilets in the room, I gave that person an ear full and told her I would not wait till the next day for a person to come fix it, again poor management not having staff available. In closing I spent almost $4000.00 to stay here and expected more than I received and I also saw pamphlets with movies around the complex but like everything else it was out of service. I think you need to do an overview of how you operate this rundown place from a safety standard because if you needed to get everyone out of the building quickly you do NOT have that ability to do so!

Nice but needs some upgrades

Overall the room is nice and very spacious. However, all of the beds are extremely uncomfortable and sunken in. You can feel the springs in the beds and it feels like you are sleeping at a motel. Cookware is very very outdated and questionable to use. Fridge water dispenser was all rusted out and looks like it needs a replacement. This was 2nd time staying at the Tidewater resort and the resort really disappointed us this time around. Pools were filthy, 1 of the hot tubs did not work and was cold, 1 pool was full of sand and debris. The only hot tub that worked was constantly filled with debris and never cleaned for multiple days even after asking someone if they could come clean the pools, it was never done.

Nice condo but had issue with back door. Would not open. Needs attention!

Elevator were a inconvenience. Had to take stairs several times! Waiting sometimes 10 to 15 minutes going up or down. The elevators were hot and small.

Nice stay

Nice location although we were under the impression there would be more walkable options for eating/bars. Without sidewalks it was difficult to walk as the road was busy. Also, some bench seating out front would be nice to be able to sit while waiting for Uber/Lyft. We enjoyed the condo though and thought the 6th floor balcony was perfect. The pool area was nice and the chairs there new and clean. We would stay here again if we come back to the area.

I would recommend

Overall a good place to stay. When we got there I saw a dirty cleaning rag left on the table and the floors need a little more cleaning, when we walked around barefoot our feet would be black but otherwise it looked good. I did not like the fact after driving 12 hours that I had to stop somewhere else to check in and there was other people in there so that took awhile.

Very comfortable

The property was clean and comfortable for our family! We loved that it is in walking distance to Pier Park! The view of the sunset over the Gulf was amazing! We would love to stay here again!

Great Stay

We had a great time at Tide Water Resort . The arcade was disappointing to our little ones as most games didn’t work properly . The elevator wait was hectic at times but expected for such a large facility but otherwise we had everything we needed and wanted !

Condo was not what appeared on internet

Carpet was filthy. Bar stools were not attached to bottom. Outside chairs were ALL busted. Light barely hanging on to fixture in family area. Comforters we’re all stained and dirty. Couch was stained. Recliner was broke, handle and chair. TV’s did not work. Furniture in bedrooms were not even dusted. Kitchen and Master Bathroom sinks were leaking. Ice maker did not work. Refrigerator shelf was broken. It was absolutely filthy. Customer Service was horrible. I highly recommend no one stay here.
