The house was very clean, AC worked perfectly, all appliances are like new and the kitchen had everything you could need. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable and two parking spots a plus.Communication was prompt and friendly. This was a 5 start experience all the way!

Amazing home!! Fully renovated with historic charm. It comfortably fit 12 of us with plenty of beautiful rooms and bathrooms and seating for us to eat together.We had such a nice family vacation visiting the falls and all being able to stay in one home. The kids loved taking a dip in the pool between our excursions. Thank you Hoan Le!

House was nice and in a good location for traveling back and forth to Canada. It had most necessities and was comfortable. Things weren't quite what is shown in the pictures however. Pool was much smaller than expected and the outdoor area around pool is small and dirty....had lots of spider webs, bird droppings and dead bugs. Grill needs to be replaced, took us a while to clean enough to be used. Inside was basically as shown but needs some minor repairs and cleaning. For the amount we paid, I just expected a higher level of care of the property.... as well as some communication from the care taker. Never received any welcome, checking in on us or directions of how to check out.All in all we enjoyed our stay and made great family memories so that is what matters the most.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad to hear your family enjoyed the stay and created great memories. I would like to clarify a few points. During your stay, I did reach out and specifically asked whether you would like me to stop by and address any concerns, but I did not receive a response. Later, it became apparent there may have been some confusion due to multiple message threads being open. Regarding the property, this is a historic home that is nearly 200 years old. While we continuously maintain and improve it, it naturally differs from a newly built home. The pool dimensions are accurately represented in the listing photos. As for the outdoor area, the property is located very close to Niagara Falls and surrounded by mature trees and wildlife. While we routinely clean and maintain the exterior spaces, bird droppings, spider webs, and other outdoor debris can appear quickly, especially during the warmer months. Unfortunately, I cannot control where birds choose to land, only clean up after them as part of regular maintenance. I also accommodated your dog despite pets not being permitted under the house rules. Unfortunately, additional cleaning and fee will be required after checkout due to pet-related messes throughout the property. I appreciate your comments regarding the grill and other maintenance items, and I will review those with our team. Guest satisfaction is important to us, and we always strive to provide the best possible experience. Thank you

Perfect stay!

3 families, total of 13 people stayed here and it was perfect! Loved the house and the proximity to sights and activities was excellent. Gorgeous historical house that has been immaculately renovated and clean. The host was amazing and allowed us to check in early, check out late, and had the fridge and pantry stocked with breakfast items - and she even baked us fresh muffins on our first day! Would definitely recommend this stay.

We loved staying at this property! House is historic, beautiful, well appointed and within walking distance to the falls. We had 13 people fit very comfortably in the house. The owner is amazing and the attention to detail in this house surpasses any other house we’ve vacationed at!

Niagara Falls Reunion

The Historic Johnson house was a great place for our 8-person family reunion at Niagara Falls. The host was wonderful, providing quick responses to our questions and many thoughtful touches to make our stay special. The house was one of the nicest we have rented through VRBO and the location is terrific for visiting the Falls and many attractions.

Perfect Stay

We had the greatest time on our family trip to the falls. Perfect location! Host was beyond amazing- the breakfast items provided were soooo good! Fresh juice, local breads, yogurt, eggs, etc.!Minor toilet issue was fixed within an hour of reporting. We will definitely be returning again and will recommend to family and friends.

Niagara Falls vacation

Our family had such a good time. The house is perfect for a Niagara Falls vacation. We were able to walk to the falls and some of the attractions. We loved the pool. We loved all the breakfast food she gave us including homemade muffins. Plenty of space for a large family.

Kathy is a sweetheart. She was such a gracious host, and the homemade muffins was delicious. The home is beautiful, and the location is great. Everything is in walking distance. Will definitely be going back to visit.

Wonderful host! Impeccable house!

I cannot say enough how wonderful everything was! Clean, immaculate, comfy, and near the falls within walking distance. The host even provided breakfast staples which our family eat up; I don't know if she baked the muffins but the entire family couldn't get enough and ate them night and day. I highly recommend this host and the house.

Exceptional house and location

The property and host were outstanding from check-in to check-out. The house was in an ideal location to the Canadian Border, Niagara Falls and the casino. The host was easy to communicate with, house had everything we needed for our stay. The house was very clean, beautiful and lovely. We would stay here again. Fabulous experience.

We came for Niagara Falls!!

This is a historic property that has a short walk to Niagara Falls park. The host could not have been more helpful! Beds were cozy and plenty of room for our large family. The house was well stocked with everything a guest could possibly need and her homemade muffins were an extra bonus:):) Highly recommend this property and seeing the falls!!

Amazement

We took our family of 12 to NY to see the Niagara Falls. The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. The hospitality was beyond wonderful, donuts were a hit with the kids. The pool was just the right size and temperature. We have stayed in many place booked from VRBO and this by far bets them all…
