La maison du lac au lac Retreat de Steinhatchee est ouverte à la location pour la première fois! Les tarifs ont été réduits pour attirer plus de gens dans cette fantastique propriété! C'est un endroit convoité non seulement en raison de l'emplacement, mais de la beauté de l'ensemble de la propriété. Cette propriété possède le plus beau lac privé de Steinhatchee et elle est située à quelques centaines de mètres de la marina de Sea Hag. Ceci est une grande maison avec une suite d'hôtes séparée appelée The Treehouse. Ceci est la dernière édition d'une collection des plus belles propriétés locatives de Steinhatchee qui sont connectées ensemble. Pour les événements et les réunions de famille, il n'y a aucun endroit comme ça! Faites des souvenirs aujourd'hui en louant soit la maison du lac (15 personnes), la cabane du lac (7 personnes), le Country Club (8 personnes) ou le Fish Lodge de Steinhatchee (jusqu'à 12 personnes). We had an amazing time at this camping location! Kirk was incredibly responsive from the very beginning and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. He was welcoming, helpful, and made us feel right at home.The campsite itself was beautiful and well-maintained, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. You can tell Kirk truly cares about providing a great experience for guests.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful camping experience!

This place is just quirky enough to make it wonderful. All important mod cons work well; good AC and kitchen appliances. This place is spacious so perfect for family scalloping vacation..

Excellent location near the Sea Hag Marina. The kids had blast with the catfish in the pond off the back deck. Friendly and knowledgeable host. Great fish camp for families.

We loved the very roomy 3 bedroom house, beautiful view of the lake/pond. Large screened porch, large outside deck, well stocked lake with fish. We did not like the tree house with the two extra bedrooms, it was a little difficult to get up to on the steep stairs, but we liked the other two bedroom cabin next door, that we also rented. We had 10 adults and 5 kids under the age of 10, and between the house and cabin, worked out great for us.

Steinhatchee get.

Nothing else like this in Steinhatchee. Old style Florida at it’s best. Nice pond to catch and release or swim and play in fresh water right off the back porch, or sit and watch the fireflies, falling stars and listen to the frogs at night while having a cold one or talking over the day. Private and secluded, but only a few easy walking blocks to the Sea Hag marina.

A great 3 bedroom 2 bath house.

A great 3 bedroom 2 bath house. The additional 2 bedrooms and bath in the “Treehouse “ are in need of tlc. I’m sure the owners will work on improvements, but for this stay the trail and steps to get to the treehouse are treacherous. The bathroom, on the lower floor, is easily accessible to critters and is just creepy. It is not comfortably accessible to the 2 bedrooms. You basically need to go outside to get to it. Not fun in the middle of the night. Also note the description states the master bedroom in the main house has 2 queen beds. It’s actually a queen and twin bed. Again, the main house has everything you need. Just don’t draw the short straw and end up in the treehouse.

My bad, I actually had taken one of the queens out of the house during the hurricane and put the twin in a different room which lowered the lake house main house capacity by two. The treehouse is not advertised as being anything special but the kids like to stay there. This was a large group of adults But at nine, likely could’ve managed Do not use the treehouse by utilizing the space in the living room with the pullout, sleeper sofa and Available queen air mattress.

A MUST STAY PLACE!

There wasn't a place to stay from LaKe City/Perry to Gainesville/Ocala because of the festivals . I needed a place for a week to for my family of 9 to stay while my mother was in Hospice and for her funeral. Somehow Mr. Kirk Jones' property came up on my search. I told him my story and he was so gracious and allowed us to use his place. When we arriIved, he was waiting to show us around. He has a large house and property with a stocked pond that the children loved. The pond alone kept our minds off of our problems. I would recommend this property whole heartedly!!! Very spacious and quaint situated right on top of a little lake. Owner was very nice and responsive if we had any recommendations about town. Would definitely book again

We had an amazing time at the Lake House!

Our whole party of 13 had a blast! We swam in the Lake as well as fished it and the kids caught carp, catfish and bream. The owner was amazing, accommodating and answered promptly every time I reached out. For such a busy town, this property was very secluded and we felt like we were out in the country and away from the madness, despite being right across the street from SeaHag Marina. The frogs outside provided great white noise while we slept every night. All in all 5 stars! We had such a great time, next year we may rent all 3 houses and bring extended family too! Many memories made here and will most definitely be back next year for another epic scalloping trip.

Great ideal property for big groups. Place offered more than enough rooms for sleeping, including the detached treehouse. Over looks a private pond with access for fishing and small kayaking for kids enjoyment. Will stay again.

Lovely Stay and accommodations

We rented this place for our family reunion and it was perfect for the occasion. Plenty of space and things for us to do. Huge pond right outside the porch with tons of fishing. Close to everything you needed. We will be back year after year. Thank you so much.

Wonderful place to stay!

Everything was Clean and well stocked for the stay. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had all weekend. Pond was very well stocked with fish. We has a blast fishing both days as well as using the paddle boat. We spent most of the time on the screened porch or on the deck . The tree house was an added bonus for an extra couple to join the fun . Definitely recommend this rental.

Not horrible but not good

Owner was great to work with but the tree house part of the property with the two rooms has obvious mold and a wet smell so we didn’t use it making it uncomfortable in the main house. We were able to use the other property the next day for a fee but found cockroaches in the bathroom and in the beds ( dead but there ), also appliances in the main house didn’t work ( washer and stove ) so we have to use the other house for that. The pond and activities were fun but housing needs work.

Guests arrived with maximum occupancy of all adults. Occupancy is based on family gatherings and A mix of children and adults. The tree houses more like a man cave as described and great for kids. The offering of a great rate for the adjacent cabin was declined as the rent or said they could manage? I got a call too late at night too late to go over and Rectify the situation. I immediately got a call that the AC did not work and that the stove in the main house did not work. The AC was on a delay and the stove I later found out they had tripped the breaker On the stove. S for the roaches because they didn't listen my 1st recommendation I was not able to do a walkthrough when they entered the house and they found (as they said) 2 dead roaches. We have pest control on all of our properties and never have a pest problem. Rarelyzero we have a guest problem (this was one of those cases). Lol 😆

Scalloping Get Away

Property was great to relax after a day of scalloping, allowed us to bring our two small dogs, and was the perfect accommodation for our group.
