R & R River Retreat est une belle maison de 3 chambres à coucher, 3 salles de bain, 3 étages en bois rond, située sur la riviÚre Coosawattee. Elle comprend: cheminée, télévision par satellite, sauna intérieur. En tant qu'un des propriétés acceptant les animaux domestiques de Sliding Rock Cabin - il n'y a pas de frais pour les animaux et dispose d'un jardin clÎturé.
L'étage principal a 2 chambres à coucher, 1 salle de bain. 1 chambre a un lit king et télévision par satellite, et l'autre a une chambre queen avec lecteur DVD qui est compatible BluRay et WIFI (pas de cùble).
A l'étage, la suite principale dispose d'un lit king avec plateau-coussin, d'une télévision par satellite, d'une salle de bains, d'un porche privé et d'une cafetiÚre Keurig.
Le niveau patio a la troisiÚme salle de bain complÚte, salle de jeux avec table de billard et télévision avec lecteur DVD compatible BluRay et WIFI.

Partez en randonnĂ©e sur les sentiers de montagne d'Ellijay et de Blue Ridge, essayez la pĂȘche Ă  la mouche, puis regardez le fleuve passer le soir ou blottissez-vous prĂšs de la cheminĂ©e et regardez un vieux film sur votre tĂ©lĂ©viseur grand Ă©cran. Peut-ĂȘtre dormir tard sur le lit king size Ă  l'Ă©tage et prendre un cafĂ© sur votre porche couvert privĂ©. R & R River Retreat est une escapade parfaite pour un maximum de six personnes. Best cabin ever!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is very well appointed and has everything you could possible need. The driveway is a little scary at first, but after going up and down it a couple of times it’s fine. The scenery is amazing, we had a bunch of deer come by to nibble on feed bought for them. The fishing was ok, my son caught one bass (I think) and was happy. We wound up not bringing our pup, but I would rate this 5-star in terms of being dog-friendly. The entire bottom deck is gated and the gated area for bathroom-time is more than sufficient for a dog to do its business. We loved it and would love to return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice stay here. It was what we expected for rest and relaxation. The beds were comfortable. We built a campfire at the firepit and made smores. We built a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with Kerig,coffee pot, crockpot,kitchen scissors and panini maker. The only thing missing was a can opener. There was a nice screened in porch to sit and look down at the river (which has a few rapids just not time of year to be in the water). We saw 4 deer walk right up one morning and one night a buck on the property. There are crows and squirrels also. I would stay here again. 😀

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the R&R River Retreat. The cabin and grounds are well-kept and very nice. We had a wonderful 4 nights. Highly recommended!

Nice cabin, not remote

Cabin was nice and clean. Not remote at all, there is a busy campground across the River from the cabin that was very loud and you have neighbors on both sides. The cabin had everything we needed for a four day stay and was comfortable. Despite the noise we had a very nice time.

My husband’s 50th birthday!

The whole family went to the cabin to celebrate his milestone birthday. It was absolutely wonderful the owners did a great job with making it feel just like home. My only complaint is that the driveway is too steep for comfort.

Great Cabin! Pet Friendly! Very Clean! Well-stocked kitchen! Great amenities- streaming tv, jacuzzi, sauna, on-property hiking and water access, fire pit, porch swing, picnic table, fenced dog area, pool table, foozball, board games, grill, porch friendly; as well as community amenities- trails, pools, stables, gym, tennis, pickle ball, fishing, etc! Had a great stay! Can’t wait to reserve again! Will pass on referrals! Thanks for the hospitality!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We choose Sliding Rock Cabins because they are dog friendly and it did not disappoint. The cabin was well appointed with all the little things that make staying with a dog easy. Clean and comfy. Once beyond the resort gate, the roads are narrow, paved until the very last few tenths of a mile. It was windy yet easy to get to from the directions provided, but we were not comfortable driving in the dark. We cooked at the cabin and had everything we need.

Enjoying Nature

We both love the wild outdoors and we did get a treat. The sound of the water flowing down the river while sitting by our camp fire was so peaceful. Every day we were visited by several deer and squirrel's. The cabin was clean and cozy as well as packed games in case the weather ran you inside. One major plus was the rental is pet friendly, we didn't want to leave our fur baby out of the enjoyment.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed our time at R&R River Retreat despite the rain. The view of the river was amazing, and we laughed at the yappy dog visiting the park across the river. It was fun feeding the deer and listening to the visiting geese. In four days, the deer ate 40-pounds of feed. We've stayed at several Sliding Rock properties BECAUSE THEY ARE DOG-FRIENDLY, but R&R River Retreat is our favorite. Our dogs were safe in the fenced yard and gated porches. We look forward to returning in 2024!
