Le bois de santal est un domaine à couper le souffle sur un très privé 1 acre de terrain. Les deux étages, 2500 Sq. La maison principale se trouve sur une colline et bénéficie d'une façade de plage parfaite d'une vingtaine de mètres. La maison principale utilise 3 000 pieds carr��s de terrasse enveloppante pour offrir une vue à 360 degrés sur l'oc��an et la mer d'Abaco. Le premier étage de la maison principale est composé de deux suites principales avec chacune une salle de bains privée et le deuxième étage comprend le salon, la salle à manger et le coin cuisine. Le "Crews Quarters" est rattaché à la maison principale par un petit passage couvert. Il comprend deux chambres supplémentaires et une salle de bains commune. Toutes les chambres sont entièrement climatisées. Le deuxième étage de la maison principale utilise la forte brise de l'oc��an et de multiples ventilateurs pour rester frais. Le parc est entièrement entretenu, une gén��ratrice de secours est disponible en cas de panne de courant et un réservoir de stockage d’eau de pluie de 15 000 gallons fournit de l’eau potable. Cette grande parcelle de terrain est incroyablement paisible et privée, mais se trouve à moins de 15 minutes �� pied de Hope Town, le long de la plage ou par la route. Deeded accès à un quai privé de 120 pieds, la maison en bord de mer de Sandalwood a acc��s au côté nord du quai. La profondeur approximative de l'eau au quai varie de 2,5 à 4,5 pieds à mar��e basse et de 4,5 à 6,5 pieds à mar��e haute. Pas de satellite / câble, mais la télévision a un syst��me de streaming Internet Roku.

Beautiful View

World class views front and back of house. The patio is amazing. The north end beach is perfect and the dock was perfect. Not being able to take a golf cart all the way into town is a bummer...especially with groceries. But, the north end beach is worth it.

We ate pleased you enjoyed your stay at Sandalwood and the wonderful north-end beach. Also sorry about the local rules which prohibits golf carts driving through the Settlement from either side of town, Regards, Vernon Wells.

A few maintenance issues: ceiling fan in bedroom not working for 2nd year in row;Foot washer spray handle on back deck broken; one refrigerator not working but no notice or posting not to use so we had food spoil.

Thanks so much for letting us know about the foot washer. We're always happy to be given notice about problems that need our attention. We do apologize about the issue with two fridges. We had to purchase a back-up fridge while waiting for parts to arrive for the old fridge. Everything has been sorted out

Superlative property

We were blown away by the 360 degree views of this beautiful beach house. The accommodations in the main house were wonderful. There were plenty of Adirondack chairs on the deck, nice, comfortable couches inside and seating for 8 at the table and more at the lunch counter. The kitchen had everything you'd want, however there was one salt shaker and little else, such as no shampoo and few soap bars. We were shocked when we learned that we didn't have access to laundry for 3 weeks, but understood more when we learned the only water source is rain water. The manager did allow us to use the laundry twice, which helped considerably and they cleaned once mid stay, which we really appreciated. The North end of Elbow Cay is desirable if you like quiet, nature, and pristine beauty. All in all, a wonderful vacation.

The bedrooms were comfortable, private and quiet and the living area ans balconies were perfect. The property management team was very professional and responsive, and provided assistance and advice whenever we asked. We were not able to rent a golf cart or boat, but we rented bikes, went on a couple of day charters, and enjoyed the beautiful private beach at the house. The walk to town for groceries, restaurants and shops was easy. We would definitely go back!.

We love the northend and especially the ability of having a place where we can have family gather. WIFI was disappointing but our in home techs were able to handle it. The home is a magnificent experience. Cool winds from the Atlantic and accessible warmth from the Abaco Sea depending which side of the house you are on. A wrap around deck to cool the upper floor and air conditioning on the lower. Wonderful furnishings large upper floor for gathering. The Property Management team were very responsive to requests that we had. Definitely a memory maker.

Friends Wedding!

We traveled to Hope Town for a friends wedding. My husband and I stayed at Sandalwood with close friends of ours. The house is amazing. The pictures Do NOT do this house justice. The accommodations, location, and THE VIEWS (360). We will definitely be back and stay at this home again. We did not want to leave. Elbow Cay Properties was so easy to work with. Communication was super easy. They went above and beyond to make our trip super special.

We have stayed at several rental properties but this one is our favorite because of the amaxing views from both sides of the house. The only negative thing is there is no AC on the top floor so you have to keep the doors open which is ok except for the bugs. There are no bedrooms on the top floor. We will stay there again.

Elbow Cay Properties was great as always. Caretaker met us at the dock to help with luggage. Views from the house are unreal. No issues with the lack of AC in the main living area. Wifi was a little slow and not consistent.

We have been coming to Hopetown since 1980 and thoroughly enjoyed our first time stay in this beautifull home. Two levels of wraparound porches offered a variety of winds, temperature, quiet getaways and a view of the Abaco sea. The beach was available out the back door. The second house offered a comfortable getaway for extra guests. The kitchen was a great size for multiple cooks and with all the amenities that would be needed. The furniture was stylish, comfortable, and appropriate for the number of people. The land around the house was expansive and provided a quiet solitude. This home is definitely on our list for a return visit.

Quiet North End Stunner

Driving up to the big house on the hill is a great way to start your vacation. The house is situated on the quieter North End of town, overlooking the beautiful beach out back and the harbor out front. The surrounding grounds are pristine and well kept. The house was clean, well stocked with the necessary gear to get you through the week. It's also large enough to accommodate the 8 people it says it can, very comfortably. Having stayed before on Elbow Cay a few times, I knew what I was getting into with the cart not being able to cross through town situation. If its a big deal for you, get two carts (one on each end). Or simply get the restaurants to pick you up from the Post Office in town. The boat dock is in great shape, and allowed for safe/proper docking and easy access across the road from the house. There is a great breeze on the top of the house, with all the doors and windows and fans there is no need for AC. Andre, the caretaker was easy to communicate with and helped pick us up at the lower dock to transport us and our luggage/groceries to the house. We only wish the home had some beach chairs and possibly more cleaning supplies. We did our best to make due with what the home had. Not a huge deal though. We really enjoyed some of the board games and puzzles to pass the morning time. Good WiFi and phone to communicate as you wish. I wish the screen on the VHF worked, it was practically useless without it, that would have made it a lot easier to communicate with some of the vendors around the area but other than that it was such a wonderful stay, we will definitely look to return again!!

Great Place On North End

The house, views, dock, beach and grounds were truly amazing. The owners are great and so is the caretaker. We’ve been to Hope Town several times but this was our first stay on the north end and it was very nice.

great time in Hopetown

Great property, good location with wrap around deck; Beautiful views from every angle. Only downside of location is not being able to use golf cart through town to see the other side of the island. Otherwise we spent most of our time on the water so having our own dock was a nice addition.

Another great stay at Sandlewood!!

This was our families second stay at Sandlewood over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Just an amazing location with access to all the best parts of Elbow Cay and surrounding Cay's. Fantastic sunrises and sunsets on all of the decks and all the amenities you would need for a small or large party. We will be back for sure!
