Niché dans les bois avec une magnifique cheminée en pavés et un plan d'étage ouvert, ce chalet est idéal pour préparer des repas ensemble et détendre les bois du Nord. Le chalet a été construit dans les années 1930 et constitue un endroit idéal pour ceux qui recherchent un peu une retraite rustique et nostalgique.

SituĂ© juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la cĂŽte nord, Ă  seulement quelques minutes du parc d'État Cascade et Ă  15 minutes de Grand Marais, "la petite ville la plus cool d'AmĂ©rique", ce cottage est l'endroit idĂ©al pour s'installer et explorer tout ce que le comtĂ© de Cook a Ă  offrir!

Perfect little get away for us newlyweds. The cabin was so cozy. Short distance from trails and grand marais, so there is plenty to explore!

Smoke alarms went off due to fireplace flue..its expensive for the shape it's in. Been coming here 25 years but found something cheaper without all the fees including no pet fees. Will be sad to leave behind all the memories but may have to due to cost...

Such a cozy and welcoming cabin! The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable especially after we had a little mishap with the dates. Our dogs loved the large secluded yard and the cabin was very clean. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay! The cabin had a distinct smell which was a bit off-putting. Windows open and fans on helped clear it. We didn’t realize that the campfire was communal with other cabins. I think we would’ve done the bonfire had it been our own. Everything else was great and we will hopefully be back! Love the opportunity to unplug without tv!! Thank you!

Excellent, cozy, great location

Had a great time staying at Cedar cabin! The kids (ages 3 and 5) loved the games, deck, and fireplace and it was really cozy. The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. Location was so close to great hiking and to Grand Marais for some town activities!

Cozy Cabin for our 2nd anniversary

Our stay at the Cedar Cottage was wonderful! The location was pretty central to all the things we wanted to do. It’s not too far off of highway 61, and there are some neighbors, but the cottages and other lake houses are far enough apart to maintain privacy. You’re still in the woods, surrounded by trees! And we could hear the waves of Lake Superior from the open windows The cottage is very cozy. We loved using the fireplace on the chillier nights. The kitchen was pretty well stocked! And the cottage seemed very clean. We spent one evening just reading on the deck- it was wonderful!We got to meet Danni at the gift shop and she was very sweet! The shop has many beautiful items, too.We also loved that we were able to bring our dog. She enjoyed her stay as well

Little North Shore Getaway

We had a peaceful stay at this sweet little cabin. We love little trips to the North Shore to escape the city and enjoy staying at different spots. This cabin was perfect for the two of us. Location is great for spending time at our favorite parks and walking around Grand Marais. We hiked Devils Kettle, and visited Cascade and Temperance River. This cabin is cute and quaint and had all the essentials for a relaxing long weekend. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend!

Mid week getaway

Good location between Lutsen and Grand Marais. The listing was accurate and met our expectations. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It was a tight space for 3 adults and our dog. The dog treats and blanket were a nice touch although not needed because our dog is not allowed on the furniture. We would stay here again.

Beautiful private cabin centrally located

There was a blown fuse, problem with the heat, but they took care of it right away, and it was no problem. I love the fireplace, and the privacy, and the porch.

We had a perfect stay at this quaint cabin that reminded me of my childhood cabin! Very appreciative of the pet friendly atmosphere and how they welcomed our furry friends!

We moved here from Chicago in 2013 looking to settle down in the North Woods and start a family. Our love of nature was a driving force. We were always trying to vacate the big city for camping and hiking excursions, so we decided that before we tried for children it would be great to put down roots somewhere very outdoor focused, so that our hopeful children would grow up surround by nature.

Danielle was born and raised in Minnesota and couldn’t wait to get back “home.” Spending time on the North Shore from the time she was 2, it always held a special place in her heart. Carl was born and raised in Ohio, but fell in love with the area on a visit in 2012.

We got married on the shore of Lake Superior shortly after moving here, bought our first home two years later, and were happy to welcome our first child in to the world in 2016! It’s been an incredible journey since we moved to the North Woods and the opportunity to become business owners has just added to the adventure.

We are so grateful to call these cottages ours, and will continue to put our time and efforts into improving on what is already here and so lovely.
