Maison de location saisonniĂšre avec 4 chambres, 3 salles de bain, une nouvelle piscine privĂ©e chauffĂ©e et un quai privĂ©! Les porches grillagĂ©s vous offrent une vue sur le bassin du bateau, face Ă  l'est et le golfe du Mexique face Ă  l'ouest! SituĂ© directement en face de l'accĂšs Ă  la plage et rĂ©novĂ© avec des sols carrelĂ©s partout, plus le WiFi, des tĂ©lĂ©visions Ă  Ă©cran plat et mĂȘme un jeu vidĂ©o d'arcade "old school"! CafetiĂšres Keruig et Drip et une station de recharge pour tĂ©lĂ©phone! Douche extĂ©rieure privĂ©e Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de la piscine d'eau salĂ©e, et juste le moyen idĂ©al pour profiter de notre belle Ăźle. Avez-vous dĂ©jĂ  pris des vacances sur l'Ăźle? Palm Island a. k.a. L'Ăźle Don Pedro, est une Ăźle barriĂšre de 7 miles de long entre Sarasota et Ft. Myers sur la cĂŽte du golfe avec des plages de sable de sucre, de beaux ports et lagunes, une excellente pĂȘche et des bombardements accessibles uniquement par un court ferry de 10 minutes en voiture ou un bateau privĂ©. Nos plages sont parmi les plus vierges et les plus calmes de toute la Floride cĂŽtiĂšre. Il n'y a pas de gratte-ciel bloquant votre vue sur le golfe, des routes sablonneuses non pavĂ©es et une atmosphĂšre dĂ©tendue de la "vieille Floride". Il y a un restaurant appelĂ© le Rum Bay qui sert le dĂ©jeuner et le dĂźner. Le car-ferry circule en continu de 6h30 Ă  22h00 du dimanche au jeudi et jusqu'Ă  23h00 le vendredi et midi Ă  minuit le samedi. Vous conduisez votre voiture sur le ferry, puis directement Ă  votre maison de location de vacances. C'est un endroit trĂšs spĂ©cial pour les vacances. Nous avons des locations de kayaks et de voiturettes de golf Ă  votre disposition pendant vos vacances.

Second trip to Palm Island

This was our second trip to Palm Island. We traveled with our grandchildren and daughter. The house was perfect; kids were in the pool(heated salt water) every day and the walk to the beach couldn't have been better (right across the street!). The house is perfectly designed to meet the needs of a family on one side and grandparents on the other! The additional space downstairs is great for additional family or a quiet space to just relax and watch a movie. Palm Island is the perfect vacation if you're looking for quiet warm weather and beautiful sunsets.

Great rental on Palm Island

We had a great week at this rental and Palm Island. It was our second time on the island and we enjoyed every bit. We rented a golf cart to tour around. Although we were right across from the beach. Beautiful sunsets from the front porch. We also rented kayaks to go thru the back water areas. Location was perfect- across the street from the beach, boat dock out back to fish off, walking distance to Rumbay and Coconuts. Pool was a great amenity as well as the ping pong table for our boys at night. Home was up to date, very clean and had everything you would need. We didn't need the first floor room for sleeping but this was great for using the bathroom. Nicely decorated, comfortable furniture and mattresses. Highly recommend this rental!

Amazing Getaway

I cant say enough about our stay at Family Tides. The pictures do not give this property justice. It is such a great location with so much space! From the multiple screened in porches to the pool, outdoor shower area, fire pit and dock it is truly a beautiful space. The home was very clean and has a great layout. It was especially nice to have a comfortable bed - the mattresses are so comfortable. Everything we needed to cook our meals was available. There is a nice selection of species and cookware basics - it was so convenient to have everything we needed. The home is very comfortable, AC works fantastic and the kids room is perfect and even has little built-in night lights. The beach access is a very short walk and the beach was perfect - I think we only saw 3 other families the entire time we were there. Lots of wildlife sightings: many birds, iguana and several tortoise. The property manager Jim is excellent!! So great to work with an accommodating. If you are looking for somewhere off the beaten path where you can truly disconnect - this is the place. We will definitely be back!!!

Great spot to relax and do some fishing.

My friends and I do an annual fishing get together and loved the house. Kitchen has everything you need and was very clean. All of the bedrooms were well put together and the living area was great to watch some college football. Downstairs room was very nice and the fridge outside the door has an ice maker! Helped keep the coolers stocked. The dock was very nice compared to other homes we have rented. Water and electric worked fine. Only suggestion would be to get a light or so out there. We also enjoyed the pool and the path to the dock is very cool.

Family Tides

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Family Tides! The house had everything we needed. We enjoyed the dock as we went off-shore fishing daily. The ocean was so close and the view from the porch of the ocean so nice in the evening. Enjoyed the puzzles and games and the pool was just wonderful! Thank you!

Ideal beach and pool getaway

Mornings at the beach, very uncrowded, and afternoons at our private pool. Our soon-to-be 4 year old granddaughter thought it was the best time ever. I know it will be hard to top!

Paradise on Palm Island

We had 2 families of 4 stay for a week, and we absolutely loved the property and the island. The house worked great for our setup we enjoyed having a pool all to ourselves. Just across the street was a private beach access and often you would be the only ones for miles. We found shark teeth, sand dollars, and shells galore. It was truly a week of relaxing, peace and memories with our families.

Great Family Vacation

This is perfect way to host a family vacation with plenty of room and most every convivence. We had 8 total, but 1 was infant and 1 a small child. Also, the pool was great and close to what turned out to be a virtually private beach. Had 1 small issued and the property manager took care of it quickly and without any hassle to our stay.

Great experience

We had a great time and it was the perfect location for our family vacation. It was a little dirty with dog hair all over the sheets and the lower level wasn’t cleaned very well. Overall it was amazing and we’re very happy with our experience.

Relaxing, tropical get-away-from-it-all property with all the conveniences of home

This is truly a relaxing, tropical get-away-from-it-all property with all the conveniences of home. We highly recommend it! The property is across the street from the gulf-side sand and beach area. There is an access passageway to walk on over to the beach. Be sure to pick up all your groceries before you come. The round-trip ferry is 55. The drive on the island is paved and the property is easy to find. There are few cars on the island, but the golf carts do run along the road. The beach is secluded and long in both directions. There are a variety of shells and some sand dollars to be found. Walking along the beach is comfortable in bare feet, but we brought along beach shoes for the access path. The house has some beach toys in the outdoor shower area. The door to the outdoor shower can be tricky; lifting on the door helps quite a bit. We had two families with young adult children. The 'kids' all stayed in the first floor apartment. The adults stayed in the two big bedrooms. One of the features that distinguish this property are the social spaces. From the central gathering space around the kitchen, apartment space, front and back deck, to the pool and breezeway space, this house lets you gather when you want and it lets you have private time when you need it. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need to cook. There is a charcoal grill with all the needed tools. There is even a Margaritaville frozen drink maker, so remember to bring your frozen drink mixes! The screened-in porches keep out any big insects, which were rare over the new year's trip while we were there. They don't keep out the no-see-ums at dawn and dusk, but closing the patio doors for a couple hours solves that problem. It also worked well to turn off the air conditioning during the day and open the patio doors on both sides to get a cross breeze. There are two big TVs on each floor if you need to watch that big game, a movie, or whatever is streaming from Hulu. LIve tv or streaming can be interrupted from time to time from the less-than-perfect internet reception. All in all, this is a great property to relax, enjoy the pool, and enjoy your home-cooked food. We highly recommend it!
