Lits confortables, draps haut de gamme et super propres. Sans oublier situé sur l'un des accès à la plage de surf les plus populaires sur l'OBX !! Nous fournissons des draps, des serviettes et des débarbouillettes haut de gamme fraîchement lavés! Vous venez d'apporter votre serviette de plage! Que ce soit la plage, le surf, la pêche, le shopping, les restaurants, les excursions ou la vie nocturne, vous serez au milieu de tout! Le tout dans un quartier assez résidentiel. De plus, si nécessaire, nous pouvons installer des mains courantes pour la salle de bains accessible aux personnes handicapées, faites-le nous savoir au moment de la réservation!

This includes the decks of the property.
Our house quiet time is from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.. We are located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, and ask that you respect it as we do.
You have access to the entire cottage which is all located on the second floor and laundry room which is located on ground level.
We may have a temp tenant in an efficiency room downstairs, however they will have NO access to the cottage. They may share the laundry room at times

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Plenty of room to spread out if we needed it. Very nice to have a full-sized refrigerator, stove and microwave as well as a dishwasher. When we were originally looking to book a property for our weekend stay a lot of the locations that were available did not have a full-size stove or refrigerator. Communication with the property owner was unmatched to any other property we have rented. Great find in a great neighborhood!!

We did use the hot tub on our first night which was perfect after a long day of driving. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with the property, not the best weather and only saw one sunrise and no beach.

Great location

House is super cute and definitely centralized near food and the beach. Master bathroom is small but at least you have two bathrooms if traveling with several people. Host are great and really friendly!

Nags Head Oasis

Cottage was clean and very comfortable. Great location for all the Outer Banks attractions. Our 2 grandkids had a blast and the bargain and comfort of this house can’t begin to compare to those nasty beach hotels. Owners provide many staples which makes set-up easy. Cottage is a real treat when you’ve had enough heat. Great value.

Owners very quick to respond!

Very comfy, clean and well equipped. There was some confusion about a hot tub being on premises, as listed, but there is not a hot tub on premises. Owner quickly responded to our concerns about lack of hot tub, and even sent us a gift for the misunderstanding. This was very considerate! Downstairs tenant was very nice and offered to help us move in! Perfect location! My family was very comfortable here!

This Xanadu is REALLY a Xanadu

What a lovely place to celebrate our family's Mother's Day excursion to see Kitty Hawk and the wild horses! The charming coastal decor, along with our wonderfully attentive hosts, Mike and Kim, made this a Mother's Day to remember. Every detail of our stay was attended to. Comfy beds and a wonderful entertainment system refreshed us all after a day of sightseeing; it was simply a blessing. If you are going to Kitty Hawk, you can't beat this location in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the iconic landmark / museum and a short hop up 12 to see the wild horses. We will definitely rebook with Mike and Kim when we are back in the area. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, to our Hosts!

Enjoyable Visit

House was in a great location to do all the activities at the OBX. Very close to grocery store, gas stations, restaurants, etc.while in a quiet neighborhood. Close to a multiuse trail great for running, biking, or walking. House was roomy enough to accommodate the 6 of us. Bedrooms were good sizes without feeling cramped. Plenty of drawer space for your belongings. Beds are comfy. Bathroom towels are provided and in good shape. You may want to bring another set, as only one set per person is given...or do laundry often. Nice to have laundry facilities. Laundry is on the first floor. House is on the second floor. Bring a laundry basket, or it would be great if one could be provided for those not traveling to the area in a car. Kitchen had sufficient cooking pots/pans. Needed more silverware to accommodate 6 people. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Debacle

We arrived at 5 pm (check in was 4 pm). We had not been given a code to get in so I contacted the person in charge (not the owner). She stated the owner was in western N.C. ‘finding bodies.’ She said she was sorry but the place was not cleaned. In the ‘rules’ it states that checkout time is 1000. Seven hours before we arrived. She offered to clean it but stated it would take two hours. She did offer us reimbursement for our dinner. We were not amenable to that solution. I contacted customer service at VRBO. While I was on the phone with them, three vehicles pulled onto the property driven by three different men. My friends and I decided to leave and continue the conversation with customer service from another location. After some ‘negotiating’ I did agree to a full refund of my money. I definitely would not recommend this property. It was unkempt on the outside with items and boxes on the lower level the person in charge did not represent the owner’s best interests.

Comfy Cozy

Me and family members enjoyed our stay very much and were very impressed with the cottage. The cottage was exactly as described and very well kept. On a personal note we were scheduled for a deep sea fishing trip which was canceled last minute and the property owner was very accommodating in changing the date of our stay to another open date.

We had everything we needed at the property. The house was clean and everything in its place. It was quiet at night once all the traffic died down. If you need a gathering place for a small group this property fits the bill.
