Really good overall. only difficult part was it very very bare-bones in terms of supplies, which I believe is partially the managing company (ie one toilet paper roll, one garbage bag, no laundry detergent, etc). For a five night stay, we had to go out and buy more. Otherwise, all good!

The home was very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for the three of us, and wpuld definitely be fine for even more. The use of the garage was extremely helpful for beach stuff storage, as well as the hitch rack off my Bronco. The location is just off the main strip, and very quiet. Would 110% stay here again.If I were to say any drawbacks, I could see parking a larger vehicle being it. My Bronco was fine in the driveway, or the allotted parking spot. A larger vehicle, Suburban, Expedition Max for example, would be relegated to the parking spot just across from the home. Not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of.Overall, a very nice place to stay down at OBX.

Very comfortable rental. Loved the hot tub for long days of walking and seeing the sights. So glad we made our way to see and learn about the history of the OBX.

The E Gull Has Landed

Worst rental we have ever had couch and living room wall were filthy. Owner didn’t communicate the rental was booked and gave someone the code who entered the property while we were there. Communicated this with the rental company who did nothing and said it was unacceptable but at least not some random person. Left early because we were concerned for our safety with someone not from the rental company enteringwhile we were there.

It's unacceptable that you experienced cleanliness concerns and security issues with the entry. The hot tub was not hot enough, but it was nice to sit out there and relax. The sheets and towels were clean however the place is worn down and dirty. There are scuff marks on the walls, the floor downstairs was sticky and they never sent a cleaner to address the issue. Additionally there was no wifi though it is listed on the advertisement. We spoke to a staff member about it several times and they were rude to us when we shared our disappointment that although we had called and left a voicemail in the morning and messaged them through the app in the afternoon, nobody would be coming to repair the wifi until the next day. When they did come out, the guy told us "you're not able to find the wifi because there is no wifi". We asked if it could be set up for us or if we could receive reimbursement and he said that's up to the owners. So we had no wifi for our stay which was okay for us, though inconvenient, but I know several people who would not be okay for if this happened to them. We asked they take wifi off of the listing until then, but I hope you will read our review until this time. We were not given a refund and support was hard to access and then mostly rude from the hosts. VRBO was prompt at responding and tried to help but did not give us a refund. This place would be excellent and really nice if they cleaned it up, got wifi, and shampood the furniture.
