Deer Valley Condo (Lac Ouachita)

Ma place est proche du lac Ouachita, de creuser du cristal, de l'équitation, des sentiers de VTT, de la forêt nationale, des sources chaudes. Ma place est bonne pour les couples, les aventuriers en solo, les familles (avec enfants) et les amis à fourrure (animaux de compagnie).

Le condo a deux chambres, deux salles de bain, trois lits au total et en accueille confortablement sept. Il y a une grande terrasse arrière avec un grill et des sièges pour accueillir et profiter de la magnifique forêt nationale de Ouachita. La cuisine a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner si vous le souhaitez, et il y a des téléviseurs partout.

Nous avons nommé cet endroit Deer Valley parce que tant d'animaux sauvages font leur chemin juste à l'extérieur de ce condo pour votre plus grand plaisir.

Great place for family!

We loved this place. Plenty of space for our family of four and grandparents. Very well stocked, even had toys and books for the kids. Great screened in outdoor patio. We enjoyed our stay!

Nick, we loved hosting you and your loved ones in our Cast Away condo. We have 2 more next door if you ever have a larger group. We also have places directly on the water if you are interested. I know summer is our high season but if you've never been here in Oct that is my favorite month on the mountain. The weather is perfect, the lake is still warm, the resort is deserted and the rates are rock bottom. If you don't have a boat the boat rental prices also drop. Come back and try it sometime. I will give you a heck of a deal. Thank you again for this kind review, Sami

Memorial Day fun

It was a perfect place to have family fun with the lake just minutes away. Pool behind the place and tennis courts . Great Location would highly recommend .

Shannon, Thank you so much for the kind review. You stayed in the newer Phase of Harbor East Condos.. The parking is better, decks are larger. Pool is conveniently located. We are so glad you all came for the Holiday. Please come back and ask about our Off Season rates. They are amazing. Bring the ATVs and legally ride in the National Forest less than 1/2 down the road. Nice Condo

The cove in the back left of the property was nice. I found a few golden chanterelle mushrooms in the woods around the cove and various other wooded areas on our boat rides. The lake was great. The pool water was a bit cold so we didn’t really spend time there. I hope to plan a trip back with no kids.

Sami is wonderful, very accessible and had a welcome basket full of goodies and homemade cookies. We actually switched to another condo with very similar style and layout, just without the outside stairs. That condo was clean and very comfortable. This is the 4th home that we've rented around the US, and this was the most supplied. Most everything you could need, including paper towels, t.p., and laundry detergent was more than sufficient for our stay. The wooded view from the deck, and deer traversing by added to our delight! We definitely enjoyed our mornings, late afternoon and evenings, enjoying the deck before and after exploring the Hot Springs area.

The property was a beautiful location. The house was great, the host went way beyond to be helpful. There was a neighbor in a house nearby with a barking dog that was annoying, and they tried to keep it down as best they could. But dogs are not my thing. I enjoy the quiet while in such a setting.

Will Be Back

We came in after a decent rain. The next morning, I woke up and sipped coffee from the screened-in deck and listed to the creek flow. Nice change from the city life. Sami runs a great operation and the place was perfect.

SPACIOUS, RELAXING RETREAT

Our family was here to watch the Total (4m 7s) Eclipse of the Sun! Just walked out the door and set-up our watch party. This is such a stress-free place with everything we needed. Sami (property manager) is amazing! Super friendly and helpful... adding many special things to improve our visit. Our thanks to the Owners & Sami for a wonderful visit. Hope to return again soon!

Everything about this property is perfect. Location. Furnishings. Decor. Kitchen items. Porches. Grills. More details than I can mention! Every single thing you could need and want for a vacation stay has been thought about before you arrive. We were welcomed like family. And felt as though we were stepping into home away from home. Phenomenal Experience

The property was flawless and the host's hospitality was EXCEPTIONAL! My husband and I traveled to this area for a "Birthday Weekend" and we were not disappointed. The host, Sami Grace, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Her hospitality and impeccable and her attention to the finest of details was astonishing....a very thoughtful snack basket, homemade sweet treats, and she even picked up a birthday cake I ordered and placed it in the rental for me so I could surprise my husband on arrival. I have rented numerous vacation rentals over the years and have never come across a host that put in such effort to help make the guests feel so welcomed. We will definitely be renting from this property manager in the future!

Amazing!!

I could rave about this property all day! The location could not be better. Only a few steps to the pool, tennis court, basketball court, and my absolute favorite... a beautiful and peaceful private cove on the lake. The property manager responded very quickly to all questions and even came over with a map of the lake and marked it to help us navigate the boat. We were able to park our boat in the cove which was very convenient. The homemade desserts were to die for, and they even included the recipe for the delicious cookies! We saw so many deer roaming the property during our stay. The marina was also close and offered jet ski and water toy rentals. Everyone in the family ranging from 16-66 years old agreed that it was one of the best vacations we have ever taken! Our only regret was not staying longer.

The Condo needs updating & the master bath smelled like a dog had been locked up in it.

Beds were comfortable & they did provide coffee which was nice. There was hair in both showers so the bathrooms needed cleaning.

I've been coming to Lake Ouachita and Mt Harbor for over 60 years. I'm intimately familiar with the lake, our resort and surroundings. I will even give you a tour of the lake...you buy the gas.
I live here year round and will do everything to make your stay spectacular.

There are 3 Phases of condos at Mt Harbor. Phase III is the best. And, the parking is really roomy. Two designated spots just for you. There is also lots of overflow parking if you need it. We stock our units better than any i have ever experienced. And, if our condos don't have what you need just call me. I'll do what i can to provide it in a timely fashion.

Mt Harbor Resort is one of 9 on Lake Ouachita (WASH-ah-taw). Bill Barnes has done a marvelous job of making this resort unique. The state bought a 47' Boat, that resides at Mt Harbor, to put out forest fires. It can be seen at our Marina. Our LOViT trail stands out as one of the 53 worldwide trails to receive the IMBA Epic Trail Designation.
