Maison en bord de mer du lac Michigan dans le village de Leland, MI.

Le charmant Leland Lakefront Cottage est une belle résidence d'été privée authentique dans la ville historique de Leland. Une expérience «dans le nord» du Michigan dans le comté de Leelanau, vraiment d'une époque révolue des étés passés sur la rive du lac Michigan rafraîchissant, appréciant les brises du lac tout en regardant un beau coucher de soleil. Le chalet peut accueillir 9 personnes - avec 4 chambres aux dimensions généreuses, une petite chambre et 3 salles de bains plus une douche de plage post au niveau inférieur pour rincer les corps et les pieds de la plage de sable.

Grandes baies vitrées dans le salon et la salle à manger donnant sur le lac Michigan et la vue sur les îles Manitou.

Accès à la plage de Sandy Lake Michigan par la porte arrière. Situé juste au sud du port de Leland pour observer les bateaux qui vont et viennent tout au long de la journée. Accès à 2 grandes terrasses extérieures et coins salons. Des kayaks sont disponibles sur le site pour apporter des gilets de sauvetage. Draps et serviettes fournis. Le ménage inclus après la visite. Parking pour 3-4 véhicules - pas de bateaux ou autres véhicules.

Beau terrain, fleurs et aménagement paysager dans un cadre boisé privé, calme, serein mais proche de tout ce que Leland a à offrir (distance de marche ou de vélo de l'épicerie, des magasins, des restaurants).

Fantastic view from a vintage, cozy home. Walking distance to Leland and all that it offers. And a beach and Lake Michigan for your backyard!

Wonderful!

The house was lovely! Rented the home to celebrate thanksgiving with our family coming from various places. The house and location were amazing. The kitchen was well equipped, the view amazing and the fireplace very cozy. Sara attended to our every whim and made sure we had a wonderful time! Love this place!!!!👍👍👍👍

We were able to catch the bonus days of summer at this lovely cottage. The views are just spectacular as is the beach front. The cottage has great historic significance to the community. Sara was fantastic about communicating.

Excellent location, beautiful property!!

We had a fantastic week renting this historic cottage on Lake Michigan! The views looking out over the lake are unmatched, making it easy to enjoy the outside even when the weather was uncooperative. We enjoyed kayaking, walking the private beach, and the town of Leland a short walk away. Plenty of space for our family of five plus grandparents to spread out. The flowers and grounds are beautiful in the summer with lots of comfortable outdoor seating to sit and bird watch. A lovely property we would happily stay at again!!

Historical gem

We loved our stay. The host was communicative, and thorough, and thoughtful touches were made throughout the house, down to labeling different lights. Our group had a wonderful time and I'd love to go back. The location is the best you can get - walking distance to town, privacy on the beach, and a neat old well-maintained house on a hill with unobstructed views. If you like the charm of older properties and appreciate how lovingly a house can be maintained, then you will love this house. The huge picture windows looking out on the blue waters of Lake Michigan, coupled with the majestic stone fireplace give you a feel that you cannot easily duplicate.

Beautiful house, amazing location

This big house has everything you could possibly want, including an outstanding coffee bar. Plus the location on Lake Michigan, with your own beach, kayaks, beach towels, etc. It's a five-minute walk to historic Fishtown and excellent restaurants. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This house has everything you want and need - from the location to the amenities to a wonderful host! There is not one thing I would change. Hopefully we will be able to visit again next year and make more great memories!

Great Vacation

The house was even better than the pictures. The views from the large picture windows was beyond. Lake Michigan just steps outside the door and Fishtown a short walk. It is the most perfect setting. But most of all, we loved how we felt like we stepped back in time in a simpler life. Thank you

Excellent stay, quiet, peaceful, convenient

Family gathering with seven adults and two kids. Plenty of room and privacy, very peaceful location that is also very accessible to town and highway to reach other areas. Owner/manager very kind and helpful. We hope to stay here again every year!

My name is Sara Cavanaugh and I'm a third generation Leland summer kid. My grandfather, Paul Hancock bought the Hancock cottage in 1934. We have been enjoying our summers in Leland since 1934. Leland is near and dear to us and we have preserved the cottage in the yesterday era but still having modern amenities. Most of the furniture in the bedrooms are original to the home. We are right on the beach with spectacular views of North and South Manitou Island. The cottage is in the heart of Leland but in a very private wooded area. You can just park your car for the week and walk to Leland and enjoy Fishtown and the cute shops.
