Maison historique récemment reconstruite au centre-ville de Santa Fe.

Circa 1885 est une maison magnifiquement rénovée, historique et à ciel ouvert, située dans le centre-ville de Santa Fe, à seulement quelques pùtés de maisons de la City Plaza, de Canyon Road, du quartier de Railyard, de musées, de salles de concert et du bùtiment du NM State Capitol. La maison est spacieuse avec de hauts plafonds de 11'-12 'qui accueillent dans la belle lumiÚre de Santa Fe, une cuisine complÚte moderne avec lave-vaisselle et cuisiniÚre à gaz, une cheminée à bois kiva pour des soirées agréables et un portail privé (porche) pour les aprÚs-midi ensoleillés . L'immense mur central en adobe qui sépare l'espace vital de la chambre à coucher et de la salle de bain a été soigneusement sauvegardé, renforcé et collé comme un hommage sculptural à l'héritage de la maison. L'ameublement comprend une armoire en noyer autrichien du XIXe siÚcle, un luxueux lit à baldaquin en bois massif, une coiffeuse en marbre antique dotée d'un lavabo, un siÚge d'amour Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams et des lithographies originales du portefeuille d'étudiants 2019 du prestigieux Tamarind Institute de l'UNM. The host was welcoming, the space was beautiful, and the location was great. Unfortunately, when we arrived on a cold night, the room was in the 40s (so cold!) and it took hours to warm up. Also, the gate and front door were very difficult to open. Other than that, the stay was very good.

2nd time staying here and loved it again. They have though of everything and have decorated an old Adobe with comfortable, whimsical modern. Perfect location for walking to the tire, railyard area, the plaza, state capital and up to Canyon Road and it’s galleries. So much easier than finding parking. Highly recommend.

The house was perfect! It was in a great location close to the railyard, Canyon Road and the Plaza, all in walking distance. Great restaurants and grocery all in walking distances. The host was great and had wine, cheese and crackers when we arrived. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely would stay there again.

Location is great and home is lovely and clean. Upon arrival there was wine, cheese, crackers and beer. Very nice touch for those traveling. Rental provides shampoo, conditioner and soap. Kitchen has coffee, milk, tea, spices, and oil. Nice to not have to buy these things if you are only staying a few days. Will return on our next visit to Santa Fe.

I spoke with both Mr and Mrs Owner and both were just as pleasant and classy as Circa 1885. We offered to buy it but they politely declined. Thank you for a great stay.

Everything about this property was perfect! Location, parking, ease of walking to places near the square. We had a wonderful time. I really appreciated the detailed driving directions as well as the checkin information. A few things to note:[1] For us older folks, ADA bars in the bathroom and shower would be very helpful. [2] The gas fireplace really doesn't put out any real heat. Last couple of nights got kinda chilly. [3] We know and understood that the front door was new, but it really took some effort to open & close.

Convenient and Cute!

Husband and I visit Santa Fe frequently and this is our favorite place to stay. The home is small, but all we need as a couple. Without being right on the square, the location can't be beat. We always walk to our favorite spots near the plaza or in the railyard. No more than 10 minutes to get there. June 2025 was our second stay here and we would absolutely do it again.

Perfect Retreat

I was here by myself for a photography workshop. This turned out to be a perfect place for me to relax at the end of the day, to get wherever I needed to go -- the Plaza, food, my classes. It was comfortable, my hosts were gracious and responsive, and best of all, it had that Santa Fe feel I was looking for.

Week in Santa Fe

We came to celebrate some friends’ anniversary and found this location to be ideal for visiting the Capitol building, historic Santa Fe, the plaza and the Rail Yard district. The vacation rental was very clean and included helpful amenities.

Anniversary trip

We really enjoyed our stay at Circa 1885! The location was ideal, walking distance to the Plaza and the Railyard area! There is a really great Farmers market in the Railyard Saturdays. The unit was super cute and perfect for two people. We really appreciated the drinks and snacks upon arrival! Don’t hesitate to book here!
