We booked last minute, 2 days out. Within no time at all, everything was confirmed. Our communication was via text message which I found to be way easier than phone or email. I was able to text them anytime and got an immediate response. It was this way throughout the whole trip. The condo was exactly as pictured on VRBO. We would stay here again!

Beautiful beach views

The condo was clean and the views were amazing! Great beach access. Elevators for the building are slow and there can be long wait times. Property manager was very responsive. No issues everything was great. Would definitely recommend for families.

Good location, poor cleanliness

We arrived to our condo at 4pm, check-in time, and found the unit to what we expected. That is, until we started to unpack. Starting in the master bathroom, there was a used bar of soap on the floor by the tub. Moving to the kitchen, the dishes/pans/utensils that I grabbed to use for dinner were greasy and still dirty. It was like they were ran through the dishwasher without soap. After washing them, I went to use the stove and it was still dirty. It was little white flakes all over the cooktop. Turns out to be something falling from the microwave above each time you close the door. We were also greeted by black hair tumbleweeds throughout the condo. My husband looked under the couch and said “it clearly hasn’t been cleaned in a while”. Moving back to the master
after passing out on the couch from the long drive, we discover the next day that the sheets were dirty and crusty. It was disgusting. Speaking of disgusting, in the 2nd bedroom, there was a full diaper that was tucked away under the bed. That accompanied the blinds that had a broken wand and would not turn. That window was right outside of the entry door to the condo next door. So, they could see in and my daughters got to “sleep” with the super bright exterior hall light lighting up the place. (I have pics of most of this stuff.)Getting past all of that, the beach was great. My son enjoyed the pools and hot tub. We appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit. There were restaurants that were walkable.

Splash PCB

When we arrived, the registration desk was closed, & the number for the host went to voicemail. We did contact security to ensure that it was alright to park in the parking garage & go to our room. Our condo was exactly as it appeared on the site! We did have to call twice to get extra bedding for the pull out sofa, but it was delivered prior to our second night. One of our neighbors must have been a smoker, because on occasion, our patio smelled like an ashtray. Aside from that, our stay was great! The beach was clean, & the staff, along with all the other visitors, were friendly & personable!

Great views & easy commute from the airport. The hallway bedroom needs a room darkening curtain. The kitchen needs sharp knives and rubber spatulas for making breakfasts.

Condo nice place. Needs some updating

It was clean and quiet. The couches need to be updated they are so worn that when you sit on them you hear loud springs and it is not comfortable. Also the bed headboard and footboard need to be tighten. There was also a hairdryer that was plugged in and the cord was frayed and burnt. Again very clean but furniture needs to be updated.

Great room with fantastic view

Great location for beach vacation. Clean and spacious and nice kitchen area for cooking/snacking. Nice beach front views. Great pools and splash areas for kids- just too cold water for young ones time of year we went- not heated. Many great nearby restaurants and shopping choices. Great parking for condo. Terrific time!

Not impressed

We were disappointed with the resort as a whole. The pools at splash were pretty dirty and the elevators had funky smells, there were a lot of unsupervised children. The room was cleaner than we expected given the reviews we read. Some appliances have rust and didn’t work all that well. We enjoyed our trip but have decided not to stay at splash again.

Beautiful views !

Great property for families ! I had a few days to myself between job changes, and did not realize that this was a true family destination. Lots of happy little ones running around - which is never a bad thing. I was expecting a quiet retreat, but that was my fault not the listing. I needed a view with crystal clear water, and that did NOT disappoint ! Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend - just next time I will have the grand-babies with me so that they can enjoy as well : )

Good but needs update

Property is nicely equipped for a family stay. Great view, easy beach access. Unit is cute but needs a deep cleaning and update. (First thing we did upon arrival was clean furniture and floors. Appliances are old and noisy. Furniture no longer supportive. Lots of burned out lightbulbs, squeaky doors, etc. Dirt behind doors and under furniture.) Second bedroom location well-suited for adults but too far away from master for children. Property has extremely hard water. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but this unit is showing its age and would be much more enjoyable if refreshed.

Very nice condo, great view, great amenities! The only thing I was displeased with was that we had to clean up some things upon arrival. Coffee rings on furniture and floor, ring in tub, finger prints all over glass doors, there was even dried up contact lenses stuck to the bathroom floor and we also had to vacuum the area rug.. Once we got that done it was a very nice stay!!

The condo itself was clean, well stocked, and very nice! We enjoyed our stay there!

The splash resort I didn’t care for they closed the pool everyday we were there for hours at a time! That also closed the restrooms as well which meant you had to walk from the beach to your room to use the restroom. The pools are really small and there is only one hot tub that has 15+ people in it at all times. I will not stay at this resort again! The condo was super nice and the owners made it feel so welcoming but the resort just isn’t great!
