We had such a lovely stay. The house comfortable, clean and has everything you could possibly need. Barb is a wonderful host! Highly recommended and we will be back next year!

Absolutely fabulous place. This is the second year in a row that we have stayed with Barb and Troy and it won't be the last! The property has everything you could possibly need or want in a home away from home. Looking forward to spending time there again!

This was a great house. Exactly what it said. It was super clean and practically brand new. Great location for us going to Saugerties, New Paltz, etc. Barb and Troy were so nice. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling in the Catskill area.

To describe this house as cozy doesnt do it justice. Its..ultra cozy. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be coming back. Great communication and conversations with the owners. You really feel like youve known them your whole life after just meeting with them. Loads of space and the yard is amazing .

Clean house but would NOT stay again!

House was very clean but it was never disclosed that there was a very LOUD train was right next to the house that ran MULTIPLE times in the Day & Night. Kept us awake at night and was so close it made the house shake. Owner also lives right next door and keeps tabs on you so you feel like privacy is limited. The house itself had everything you need for cooking and amenities tho.

Fabulous property!

My entire family were awestruck over this property. Stocked with anything and everyone you could think of. Super spotless, comfortable and homey. The hosts were phenomenal. They've put alot of love into this house. I'd recommend this property in a heartbeat. If there was anything disappointing about our stay last weekend, is that we couldn't have stayed longer.

Nice house, but too close to train tracks for us

The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable and was well equipped for families, with televisions in almost every room and everything you would want for a stay of a few days or longer. The house also has a wonderful deck and back yard. The host was warm and welcoming. However, we had trouble sleeping because of the noise from freight trains passing nearby day and night.

Yearly friends trip

Best host , the house was so comfortable, so newly renovated and every convenience you need . Hot water , towels , sheets , blankets galore. We didn’t want to leave the house. The location was in the middle of everything. Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Hidepark , CIA institute . A plus rating . And there’s a fire pit . (House not in a private location) if your looking for that kind of place.

THE BEST!

Your home away from home, the cleanest, most well appointed home we have ever stayed in with hosts who truly care. A light snack, and a bottle of wine were waiting upon our arrival. The beds and bedding were so comfortable we slept like babies every night. And trains! It was so much fun to hear the whistle and listen to the trains go by… If you have kids with you (this is a family friendly home) they will be thrilled – I guess we are big kids at heart because we loved them. We are definitely looking forward to our trip again next year, and we hope for many more years to follow. It was absolutely wonderful!

Cozy Home

The home was very cozy. The owner lives nearby and was quick to respond to questions. House was VERY clean and kitchen fully stocked with anything and everything we needed. Even had a few Ziploc bags we ended up needing and using. Nice deck outside with a table and chairs for meals outside. The bedrooms are all upstairs. Stairs are a bit steep so anyone with mobility issues may have problems with the steps. Beds were comfortable. The house is within close proximity of the train crossing and that presented some issues with sleeping for my daughter who is a light sleeper.

Great property, great hosts - didn't love the trains

As mentioned by all other reviewers: the house was very clean and well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the property is centrally located and the host (Troy) was very friendly and helpful. However, our reaction to the frequent freight trains was stronger than others who mentioned this in their reviews. The trains must sound their horn as they approach intersections, one of which is just down the street from the house. This is not a problem during the day but it was disruptive at night.

AWESOME location

This house is very clean and is loaded with the comforts of home. There were even condiments in the fridge and some spices in the pantry. Many quilts and blankets to snuggle up in too. We came for the NY Sheep and Wool Festival and we hope to return again. The owners live right next door and were there to welcome us and for anything else we might need but they left us to ourselves . The 3 lovely, well-appointed bedrooms are upstairs and they share one full bath. there is a half bath downstairs. We really enjoyed our time there and will return as soon as possible.

Barb was a great host!

Barb's house was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of room and fire pit was great as well. Barb was very welcoming and her house had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying there!

This recently renovated home has all new everything! The main floor boasts a spacious kitchen with separate mud room, laundry, office and walk-in pantry. The dining area has french doors leading to a large wrap around deck with mountain views bordered by woods. Very centrally located in the Saugerties (3 miles), Kingston (5 miles) and Woodstock (10 miles), Hunter Mountain Ski Resort (20 miles)
