It's time for an Upstate, NY trip where you'll take in the fresh mountain air and see the beautiful Catskill Mountains!

This Cozy Saugerties A-Frame retreat is ideal for a family or couples’ escape year 'round. A charming 2-bed, 2-bath, A-Frame home sits on a secluded, wooded, 1-acre lot with wonderful views of the Catskills Mountains.

Boasting a massive 24’ x 16’ outdoor deck, you can enjoy your morning coffee or take in some nighttime star gazing. This rustic home also provides a fully equipped kitchen stocked with cookware, flatware, utensils & spices! There is no Microwave
also amenities such as Free Wi-Fi, 3 Smart TVs, an outdoor gas BBQ grill as well as a Propane Fire Pit
. All making this, the place to be for your next retreat. (AC & Heat).

I do allow Pets. 1 Dog - 20lb Max / THERE IS A PET FEE.

Located right down the block from Opus40, this amazing Stone Sculpture Park hosts several art and musical events throughout the year and is the perfect place for an afternoon excursion.
A short drive into the Town of Saugerties, gives you a wide variety of places to shop and explore. Plus there are many Cafes and restaurants where you can grab a bite.
You’re also just a 10 minute drive to Woodstock too!

Relaxing and enjoying some peace and quiet on the deck as the sun sets over the mountains will certainly put you in an “A-Frame of Mind”

As a friendly reminder for those staying in Spring / Summer / Fall
. You’re gonna be in the country. There are critters. That's part of the beauty of why you're visiting right? So, if you're going to roll around in the leaves or grass
 walking in the woods and being out in the yard, then I highly recommend you take off your clothes put them in the dryer and run for 20 minutes, and then do the Hudson Valley / Saugerties foreplay, check each other all over !

We spent an idyllic 3 days at A-Frame of Mind. The house is very comfortable, and flooded with light. It is located on a quiet road and surrounded by trees. We loved walking down the road to Opus 40 and being within a close drive to Kingston and the Sojourner Truth State Park.

Cute, comfortable place to be home base for anyone to explore this Catskills. Easy to get into Woodstock and other small towns. We were glad to sit and read on the deck when we had a break from wedding activities. Thanks to Nick for getting umbrellas when we say the forecast - carrying umbrellas meant the rain held off at the most important parts of the weekend.

Comfortable, private little getaway

Loved the place! Very nice location in the woods, with no visible neighbors and a barely visible road through the trees. Plenty of space both inside and out on the decks. AC works great with multiple nice mini-splits. Easy to get to the nearby towns. Opus 40 down the road can't be missed, it's incredible.

I have enjoyed and absolutely loved having this place in Saugerties since 1995. I've done many updates but unfortunately don't have as much time to use it and appreciate it as I once did.

As guests, I hope you find this rustic A-Frame house to be as calming, relaxing and peaceful as I have for so many years.
It's an amazing place to get away form the insanity of life, even if only for a few days.

The house is just a few miles from the town of Saugerties and very close to the town of Woodstock too! It's the perfect location to be close to everything, and yet it feels very private.

Day trips, hiking and shopping are just a few of the things you can enjoy while making this the perfect location to create a 'Home Base' for your vacation getaway!
