Cette maison récemment rénovée est ouverte et spacieuse avec une vue incroyable et un lagon privé d'eau salée !! Vous pouvez nager ou flotter dans le lagon, lancer un kayak ou un canoë directement sur la propriété. Détendez-vous sur la grande terrasse pour regarder le coucher du soleil, faites des grillades pour la famille ou regardez les étoiles la nuit! Observez les aigles, le balbuzard pêcheur et parfois les phoques et les cerfs du pont.

Il y a deux chambres avec lits queen au deuxième étage, une avec une vue incroyable sur le front de mer! La spacieuse salle de bain complète et la buanderie se trouvent également au deuxième étage. PHOTOS À VENIR DU DEUXIÈME ÉTAGE APRÈS QUE LE REMODEL EST TERMINÉ EN 2019 !!
La cuisine a été récemment rénovée avec de nouveaux appareils et des comptoirs en granit. Il y a un joli coin petit-déjeuner pour regarder la marée pendant que vous buvez votre café du matin.
Le salon et les salles à manger ont été récemment repeints, mais offrent encore beaucoup de caractère avec des armoires encastrées et des planchers de bois franc d'origine! Il y a suffisamment de place pour que votre famille puisse se détendre et jouer à des jeux de société ou regarder la télévision. Le canapé est également un lit pliant pour cette personne supplémentaire. La salle à manger peut accueillir de 4 à 6 personnes, devant les grandes fenêtres avec vue sur l'océan.
Le point Hancock convoité est calme et relaxant, mais proche de tout. Épicerie, shopping, plages, restaurants, tennis, voile, randonnée, sont tous à proximité !!
Pour une excursion d'une journée, vous pouvez vous rendre au parc national d'Acadia et à la pointe Schoodic en 30 minutes environ.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay at this cozy home on the water. The views are amazing and it’s an easy drive to Acadia, Bar Harbor, hiking trails and more. The owner is welcoming and very responsive and the home has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Cora's cottage. The view was incredible, the beds were comfortable, and it wasn't too far from Acadia. We would absolutely love to return!

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at this cottage. While located a bit of a ways from Bar Harbor and Acadia, we rather enjoyed our solitude and distance from the crowds. Accomdodation was very comfortable and clean. Perfect for two people. Would highly recommend this to our friends and family. An all around perfect week.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spotless cottage in Maine. The home was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight for us (and our dog!) was the amazing deck with stunning views—perfect for morning coffee or relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, with great hiking trails just a short drive away. Peaceful, scenic, and truly relaxing. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful cottage with outstanding deck overlooking the water

We loved staying at this sweet cottage with just the right amount of room and charm. It is cozy without being cramped and is great for two couples or in our case parents and two adult daughters who shared a bed. The real gem is the deck overlooking the water, with a dining table and Adirondack chairs perfect for a morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Perfectly situated between Acadia and Schoodic Peninsula, we highly recommend this gorgeous spot.

Perfect Maine vacation

The house was even more charming & quaint in person! We really enjoyed the views and found it to be conveniently located to our vacation activities including Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. My husband Jamie and I have been living in London for ten years now but have bought this house as a getaway near to where I grew up in Hancock, Maine. This is a very special place for us and we are thrilled to share it with people who respect it and are looking to reconnect with nature and a bit of quiet. As people living in the city ourselves, we appreciate how restorative this is and how important! We hope the house and the location bring a lot of joy to our visitors.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This unique property has private waterfront access, with a gorgeous walk down to the sea and salt water pond. The views are incredible, with lobster boats situated in the cove and daily sitings of eagles, seals, loons and our resident fox who lives in the woods next door. An amazing place to reconnect with the beauty of the natural world and switch off in the evenings with a glass of wine on our terrace that seats you high enough to see it all!

We have renovated the house in late 2022 to have beautiful high ceilings upstairs, a luxurious new bathroom with a walk in shower, and large windows to see the ocean and wood views better. There are new kitchen appliances for anyone wanting to stay in and cook, and a separate laundry room where you can do your washing with a sea view!
