Excellent! I’m not sure I can write this without coming off as trying to oversell it but… the house is immaculate. Every room is spacious, plenty of closet space, and if you plan on cooking during your stay, the kitchen is perfect. You don’t have to leave your bed to watch the sunrise, but coffee on the deck during sunrise, watching the waves, was my go-to every morning. Plenty of things to do in the area, and no lack of delicious food. Lastly, our hosts were probably the most attentive, thorough, and responsive we’ve ever had. This house is truly a gem!

fantastic beachfront stay

The house was beautiful, clean, and in a perfect location. We loved having 3 bedrooms with beach views, the convenient beach access, and the layout with the spacious kitchen tying in to the eating living areas.

Family Vacation

Emma's Dream is in a great location with beautiful ocean views and easy beach access. Very spacious and perfect for our family of 5 adults and 2 children. We enjoyed the back deck with rocking chairs and a porch swing. Great vacation home!

Such a relaxing getaway

Great Beach House

We enjoyed this house and would be glad to stay again sometime. Home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Ocean views were amazing and the house had an excellent location near a lifeguard station with an easy walk to the fishing pier.

A nice week at this house

The house was spacious and quite comfortable. We cooked all meals and the kitchen served us well. I especially enjoyed afternoons on the porch. It is a quiet area and the beach was never crowded.

The perfect Kure Beach location

The location of this beachfront home on Kure Beach is perfection. A very easy walk along the beach to the pier for restaurants, ice cream and the arcade (which our nephew loved!). There is plenty of space for everyone and the private walkway to the beach is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sun. The sunrises were AMAZING! Jenn is terrific to work with and super friendly.

Spacious, beautiful, well-arranged beachfront home. Loved the multi-level views, porch swing, private beach access, grill, and parking. Bathroom counter space, hairdryers, drawers a nice touch. Kitchen uncluttered but well stocked and table well suited to dining and games. Truly a beach home!

Our stay at Emma’s Dream was nothing short of amazing. The accommodations, location, and overall experience were all top notch. We only wished we could stay longer. Our host was excellent in the coordination of our visit and was extremely responsive. The house had all the conveniences of home with a fully stocked kitchen allowing us to prepare meals and maximize our time on the beach. We highly recommend Emma’s Dream. From watching the sunrise over the ocean to listening to the breaking waves at the end of the day, you won’t be sorry!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful visit to Kure Beach and a splendid stay at this house. We were looking for a great vacation spot for our family to enjoy the beach together, and we found it! We also enjoyed taking the kids to the aquarium and carnival when we weren't hanging out on the beach. The house was lovely and clean, and the owner was delightful to work with. This was our first vacation rental by owner experience and it was very positive.

Lovely home

This home is older with a Victorian feel, but with a typical beach charm at the same time. Great ocean views in almost every room. Enjoyed the immediate access to the beach. Having to bring your own linens for 7 people was a bit much, but better than the alternative of paying for expensive rented linens. Very good place for a beach vacation in quiet and beautiful Kure Beach.

Wish we were still there!

We had a great time at Emmas Dream -we didn't want it to end. It's a great location on a quiet beach and a short walk to the peir and shops. Some days it felt like we had the beach all to ourselves. The house is very well kept, clean and its open floor plan gives you great views of the ocean from all over. We barely left the house/beach to go exploring. We made full use of the oceanfront deck each night. Overall a great vacation - Thank you!

Great location and wonderful views!

One of the best parts of this home is the owner, Jennifer, who is wonderful to work with :) And her family's home, Emma's Dream, is just as great. It is wonderfully located with beautiful views of the ocean from every window. The only issue we had was with the older bathrooms that presented a few problems during our stay, such as the master bathtub not holding water. Otherwise, this is a great family vacation home with plenty of room for everyone and direct access to the beach.

We are happy you enjoyed our home, Cassandra! As for your issue with the bathroom, we would have fixed it for you immediately had you reported it during your stay. Once we knew to replace the leaky stopper from your report, we did so promptly. The bathrooms had new granite countertops when you stayed, and there are new soft-close shower doors and rain shower heads as well now. Furthermore, there are hardy new doors to the decks with even more glass for the ocean views now as well as new outdoor deck furniture. We hope you will enjoy the new amenities on your next trip to our home!

The location cannot be beat. Being able to step out of the door and walk down to the beach was a real treat. The house is within a reasonable distance to so many great spots - Fort Fisher, Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, the ferry at Fort Fisher (to visit Southport, a must do), Topsail Beach, and Wilmington. There's so much to see and do in the area.The house was well equipped with cooking and dining supplies. The beds were comfy and the views were incredible. The only drawback for us was having to supply our own linens - a bit of an undertaking with 7 people on our trip. It's the first time I've been asked to do so in years of renting through VRBO. I understand the purpose of trying to keep costs down, it's just a bit of a bummer. However, it wouldn't keep me from renting the house again and I'd still give the experience a 10.

Beautiful home on the beach

The stunning home has all the views with plenty of space. From the moment you walk into the front door, you’re enjoying the waves. Every child enjoyed their own bedroom while mom and dad had time to relax on the deck in the rocking chairs. We rented sheets and towels which were present when we arrived. Kure Beach is a quiet area without all the tourists, which we appreciated greatly!

We also enjoy the spaciousness of each room--perfect for everyone in the family to relax and spread out. The double oceanfront decks complete with swings, rocking chairs, dining tables, and more are superb to experience all the sights and sounds of the ocean and feel the sea breeze. And of course the calm residential setting and the direct proximity to the beach and all the attractions and conveniences nearby make our home a unique vacation destination. Kure Beach rental

This beach house was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay there. It was clean and very pleasant. Proximity to the beach was perfect. It was close to the pier, which was really nice. We did feel we had to pack too much to have a relaxing week at the beach. Providing our own sheets, towels, and bath mats was a bit much. We felt the cost of renting sheets and towels was way too expensive as I purchased sheets for less than the cost of renting sheets for the week! Over all, this was a great beach house.

The third-party provider serves most of the beach houses on the island. To help our guests achieve savings, however, we give them the option of bringing their own if they choose not to rent.
