Jungle feels

The location was beautiful, exactly what we wanted. Away from the crowds and streets. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was basic but freshly cooked every morning with a side dish of fresh fruit. The Banana Pancakes were delicious. The garden is stunning, we woke up every morning with a view over the Jungle. Definitely worth staying.

Great Style

Although a little from a main road and pouring rain ,I was soaked like a fish but warmly greeted and taken to a charming , stylish and thoughtful mini- villa. A gorgeous jungle view from a marvellous balcony . The pool , although shared, seemed private just for me as there was no one there during the day , Wiri was wonderfully sweet and helpful as was her lovely son who took me to the airport . This is a GREAT place to stay in Ubud. sincerely , James

Paradise

Widi and her Staff are simply the best we stayed here for 7 days and currently on are last. I couldn’t speak more highly of a staff and Manager. Took great care of us above and beyond are needs. Very helpful when we had a late arrival and late check out. Arranged every thing we needed. I would give this place 6 six stars if i could. Definitely be back i wish I would have booked longer but we have to finish are stay at another place. If its half this good i be happy thanks again The Jungle Staff.

THIS PLACE DOES NOT WORK FOR ACTIVE SENIORS

BE AWARE!! The only way to reach this retreat was by scooter down a 10 minute path-not even a road. Completely inappropriate for active seniors and nowhere close to any attractions or restaurants. Terrible location! The property manager was unwilling to refund anything for our stay once we got there and saw how hard it would be to stay there for any length of time at all. Make sure you understand before booking this place that there are NO roads to the property and you will be walking great distances to get to civilization. This was NOT for us and we did not stay there even one night, refund or no. The VRBO customer service rep did offer us a partial credit for our next stay at a VRBO. But please take note before booking this property!

Truly a jungle villa

My wife and I stayed at Jungle Villa for three nights in September and truly enjoyed ourselves. Our trip to Bali had various legs, starting up North, then Ubud (jungle villa), followed by Nusa Dua. The Jungle villa was our "roughing it," but honestly, it was nothing of the sort. The villa is located in a secluded area that is a mixture of locals and other villas. It is about a 5 minute walk from the main road, but that walk is quite nice, seeing local places and plenty of quiet (and good) restaurants. I read some comments that it's difficult to access with your bags, but the villa was extremely helpful, sending staff to meet us at the main road and help us with everything - they were quick and very helpful. To walk into Ubud, it takes about 20-25 minutes, but there is a sidewalk for the full trip. Lots to do and see in the area. Within 5 minutes of the villa there is tour pick-up, scooter rental, taxi service, massage, restaurants, and a few local shops. You really have everything you need close by. Do be prepared for some company in the outdoor bathroom. For us, it wasn't anything bad, just some lizzards, but they're more scared of us than us them. The villa is very quiet and peaceful. The included breakfast is situated nicely in the garden, though does have limited options. Overall staff, location, service, was great. And the pool is as beautiful as the pictures make it look!

Jungle paradise!

A lovely property nestled in the jungle near Ubud. Very quiet and peaceful location. Very convenient to restaurants and sites near Ubud or other Bali attractions in Eastern Bali.

Jungle Villa

Amazing Week! Jungle Villas was incredibly beautiful. Widi and her brother Juli made sure we were able to do all the activities we wanted to! Juli was a great guide. He drove us all over Bali to see the sites.

Stay here.

The jungle villa was without a doubt the highlight of my stay. Absolutely gorgeous property. And centralize in Ubud makes it easy to go anywhere you want on the island. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. Without a doubt the best place I have stayed in Bali.

Tranquility

The staff was nothing short of amazing. There was 4/5 different breakfast options. Walking from the point where you get dropped off to the villa is about 200 meters. Several restaurants, laundry services and a couple around the property. This is new so there’s some renovation going on but very peaceful overall
