True experience of the forest

Here you can really enjoy the true nature of this beautiful country. It’s perfect private place with easy access to the beach which is also not crowded with beautifil wreck of ship on it. Totally reccomended if you want to enjoy nature and relax.

Superb lodge!

We had the most incredible time while staying at Congo Bongo (Dream Deluxe House). Our open air private bungalow was the perfect way to spend a week in the beautiful rain forest. The bungalow was clean, decorated with unique art, 10 min walk on a trail to the beach, and a 15 min walk to Manzanillo town. Every staff member was kind and helpful. Staff member, Masai, reached out to us every day to help us plan our day and to organize special tours and transportation for us. We felt welcome and safe at all times. We will forever hold a special place in our heart for Congo Bongo!! Without a doubt we will be returning again. Small motion sensing night light in bedroom and on deck

La situación del hotel es increíble. A nada de la playa y rodeado de naturaleza. Cerca se pueden alquilar bicis para poder acercarte a los alrededores. Muy recomendable. Estuno todo excelente.

Unvergleichlich mitten in der Natur gelegen, nur 5 min zum wenig besuchten Traumkaribikstrand, 10 min zum kleinen Ort Manzanillo mit einfachen Restaurants und Supermarkt. Komfortables großes Bett mit Moskitonetz, Trinkwasserspender, Kühlschrank, wifi, Wäscheservice, Begrüßungsrotwein

SEMPLICEMENTE MERAVIGLIOSO/JUST WONDERFUL

Un Paradiso in Terra. Non ci sono altre parole per definire questo posto fantastico. La nostra Deluxe era magnifica, con tutti i comfort possibili eppure immersa nella foresta e a due passi dal mare. Ogni dettaglio è curato, il personale è educato e discreto, ogni particolare è originale e ben curato. Credo di non essermi mai sentita così in pace con la natura come in questo posto. Semplicemente meraviglioso. A Paradise on Earth. There are no other words to describe this fantastic place. Our Deluxe was magnificent, with all possible comforts yet immersed in the forest and a stone's throw from the sea. Every detail is taken care of, the staff is polite and discreet, every detail is original and well taken care of. I think I've never felt so at peace with nature as in this place. Just wonderful.

This may be one of the most unique stays we have ever experienced. The location is in the rainforest but with all of the amenities and access to beautiful private beach. The entire community has a retro/eco vibe and it is truly beautiful and unique. Hospitality was spot on as well. >5 stars for overall experience.

Spectacular!!

What can we say? This was our best experience during our 5 week visit to Costa Rica!! The family and the staff were easy to talk with and gave us many wonderful suggestions as to what we could do. We had a baby sloth visiting for a few days which was incredible. We would totally recommend Congo-Bongo!!

Perfect!

Our stay here was perfect - the house is spotlessly clean, a great size and it’s just amazing waking up in the rainforest every day. We saw so many animals, including a sloth in the tree directly in front of the house (he was there every day!). Every staff member we met was so lovely and the laundry service is great. 10/10!

Lost in the beautiful jungle

It's a very special place. Our garden was the jungle, we can observe butterflies, birds and more. The location is quiet and we really enjoyed the fact that there is a beautiful beach a few steps away. The accomodation is clean and comfortable. People who welcome us werer nice and helpfull ! We loved the deco ) Maybe the houses have a lack of natural light but I'm not sure it can be improve as this place is in the jungle.

Romantic getaway

As new 'empty nesters', my husband and I enjoyed the privacy having our own bungalow in the jungle, yet close proximity to the picture perfect beach. We love the creativity that Marisol and her husband put into recycling and using it into beautiful art or uses. We hope to be back again for another romantic getaway! It was perfect!
