Great relaxing place for a family (and our dog)

Loved our stay at Waves. Close to the beach - just 5 minute walk. Very clean and comfortable accomodation.

Will be back

The cabana was exceptionally clean with a really sharp decor - the photos match the space! Communication and check-in were easy and the location is perfect - would highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-maintained and very comfortable space.

OBX Visit in the Time of COVID

We really enjoyed our visit to the Watermen's Cabanas. It was a great location - convenient to the beach and quiet. The Watermen's Retreat staff were very responsive to questions and were also very friendly! The property was clean and well maintained. We would recommend it to others!

Just right

This cabana was just the right fit for us; myself, my 3 adult children and my dog. Quite. Clean. Maybe not luxury, but very efficient. My king size bed was very comfortable !! We had a great vacation.

This was perfect!

We had 3 generations, aged 19 to 77, and this was a perfect place for us! It’s on a quiet street with a nice walk to the beach. It’s a quiet neighborhood and we felt safe. The inside was nice and clean. The furnishings were updated. It gave a light and airy feeling with pure comfort! Would come back!

Watermen's Cabanas

The property has a very nice rustic decor. Very spacious and clean, beds are comfortable. Close to the ocean, water sports and the restaurant. Good water pressure in showers, kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Wish could stay longer!

All in all, got what we paid for. Watermen’s restaurant and pub is excellent. Convenient to beach and sound.

4-day Weekend

My wife and I had a wonderful, relaxing time along with our dog. We walked to the beach and drove the short distance to some of the nearby beaches. It would have been great to be able to stay longer.

Very nice place to stay.

Loved that Waterman’s Bar and Grill you could walk too which made it very convenient if you wanted to have a drink or two and not drive.
