Côté mer et situé au centre de l'île. 8 minutes à pied de l'océan ou à 5 minutes à pied du son! Nouveau piscine privée d'eau de mer au sol avec sa propre douche et un bain à remous. Trois histoires de génial! Ce plafond de cathédrale, lumineux et aéré accueil accueille ceux qui aiment les espaces ouverts, les quartiers propres, la décoration de bon goût et des vues impressionnantes. Des téléviseurs, des DVD, des chaînes stéréo, etc. sont fournis. La douche extérieure et le vestiaire sont grands et privés. Vous aimez pêcher? Attendez de voir notre salle de nettoyage du poisson. Il est filtré, a l'eau chaude et froide, électrique et un grand banc. Près de la station de nettoyage se trouve une table de pique-nique et un barbecue au charbon de bois. Les équipements sont adaptés pour ceux qui aiment le plein air ainsi que le confort de l'intérieur. Ne loue pas ton équipement. Une planche à pagaie, des kayaks, des bicyclettes, un trou à maïs et des planches à voile sont fournis. Extra tout au long vous fera sentir que c'est votre deuxième maison. Vous apprécierez le soin supplémentaire que nous mettons dans cette maison de plage. Ce n'est pas seulement votre maison de plage basique. Tant de maisons sont très basiques avec la décoration et le contenu. Cette maison a tous les extras, comme une vraie maison et est très bien entretenue. Les images sur ce site sont exactes et à jour. Anniversary getaway

Although the weather wasnt necessarily in our favor, we had a great time. This house was perfect for our first visit to the Outer Banks. It had everything we needed.

Best stay in OBX yet!

We really enjoyed everything the house has to offer. This is the first house in OBX that we have stayed at that we truly enjoyed! We loved all the extras the house let us use like chairs and bikes etc…. This house truly felt like a home, the beds were comfy and it’s close to just about anything. Not to mention we chatted it up with some of the local neighbors everyone was so welcoming! We 100% recommend for anyone looking for a great family get-away!

One great week!

This property had everything we needed for a fun summer/beach stay. It was everthing that was listed and then some. Plenty of extras that came in handy. We had the beach to ourselves every day. We will definitely come back again.

We had a great time relaxing in the pool and hot tub in the evenings. Very private location. We prefer staying away from the busier areas of the OBX, which makes this a great location. Short drive to the 4 wheel beach access. About 15 minutes to a grocery store.Bedrooms have plenty of storage. The kitchen is well equipped. Laundry on the ground flood is nice. Kids and adults took full advantage of the outdoor showers. Some taking showers outside all week in the private shower.Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Beautiful!

House was beautiful and very clean! It was refreshing to see that after our previous rentals thru some of the island rental agencies. Lots of extras were provided that weren't in the listing! Our group loved the pool and hot tub-again, both were so clean and well maintained. House is situated in a great area--not too far from groceries, restaurants, shopping!

Lovely Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Connie’s home. It was spacious, clean and comfortable for our family. We loved the pool and hot tub. Connie has a ton of items available for guests to borrow and use, which was incredibly generous. The surrounding area is nice and the walk to the beach is just down the road. We weren’t too far away from places we wanted to visit either. Connie was kind and very easy to communicate with. We would love to come for another visit in the future. Thank you Connie for allowing us to stay in your home and for your kindness!

The listing is fairly accurate and the owners did check in with us. The house is in good shape and the pool is small but nice. Same for hot tub. Lift works great. The house does have many items (kitchen items, cleaning items, air pumps, bikes, kayaks) making the stay more comfortable. I would say some upgrades with the furniture is needed. Overall this house was great and I would stay there again.

Wonderful home away from home

This house was a perfect fit for our family of five, although we could have comfortably fit 2 more as listed. The house is very nice with a kitchen/dining/living space upstairs, bedrooms on the middle floor, and another bedroom and bar area downstairs. The pool and hot tub are very well kept. The owners have some supplies to share such as a beach cart, a few beach toys, coolers, etc. The owners encourage using and sharing some staples, which is super convenient and less wasteful. The walk to the ocean beach is about 10 minutes, which basically is just a stroll down the street and over the dune. The owner is very nice and responsive when contacted. My family absolutely loved it and hope to come back again next year.

Great family time

We had a great time. We were a little disappointed the vegetable garden that was in the remarks was not available. The walk on the sand dunes to the beach was a little cumbersome for us and the sand was hot. But I know that can’t really be changed. I would live to see some of the stuff left at the home to use for the beach to be updated a little. We found broken and unusable items. We’d definitely stay again though and the host was extremely easy to work with.

BEWARE

Owner of property does not disclose that there are cameras around the property, specifically overlooking the pool/hot tub. During our stay the Owner texted multiple times, always stating “the pool guy” said this or that. When I questioned the pool guy about these comments he stated he has not spoken to the owner in over a month. We felt like we were being watched, did not feel comfortable sitting on the porch because of the cameras, did not feel comfortable when using the pool which ultimately limited our time outside of the property of which we paid a lot of money to stay in. Our yearly family vacation was ruined and I would NEVER recommend renting from this owner!!

Great house! A few things need attention….

The house is spacious, clean and well appointed. It’s one of the nicest and most comfortable we have rented. We had everything we needed inside and loved the layout of the house and the upper deck. The elevator was great for arrival day! We also loved the pool and hot tub. With young children (10, 7, 4) the pool was great when we were not at the beach. My only complaint is that the recreational and beach equipment is in really poor shape. There was only one rusty beach chair (for 7 people), the three boogie boards were all broken, the clip-on beach umbrellas were rusted and broken, the bikes all had flat tires and rusty chains (the tire pump was ancient and didn’t work), there was only one set of wheels for the three kayaks so no way to transport them to the Sound down a very long block to the access point. Additionally, there is no raised organic garden, just overgrown weeds. There is no corn hole game. There was a broken water basketball floating hoop, no ball. In fairness, the owner reimbursed me for the purchase of three beach chairs and ordered a bike pump that was delivered midweek. The whole carport area and fish cleaning area could use a good clean out. There is a lot of useless stuff in a general state of disrepair. We managed with what was there, but it was disappointing, considering the glowing descriptions and photos.

Dear Sue, I read the review. I wish you had addressed all of these problems with me instead of advertising to the public. As you can see from the description of my listing I do not offer beach equipment such as chairs. But I accommodated you with purchasing some for you. I do not live there and the cleaning staff is supposed to maintain everything such as cleaning the carport, making sure the tires are pumped. If a guest does not tell me I do not know. I am not charging you a $50 fine for leaving 15 minutes late which threw my cleaner off. My incoming guests had to wait to check in due to the cleaner having to come back. My cleaner was not able to wait the 15 minutes while you finished packing. In the future if there is a problem where you are staying you might want to give the owner the opportunity to fix any problem before you go to this length. There is a corn hole game by the outdoor shower entrance. I'm sorry your stay was such a disappointment. I have a maintenance person cleaning the carport today and cleaning up the raised garden and I will remove the bikes and organic garden from my listing.

Best Vacation Escape

Wonderful vacation Home. Located on a dead end quiet street. Kids enjoyed bike rides daily using the bikes that are provided here. Easy access to the beach. Took advantage of the beach supplies that are provided in the car port. Great pool and hot tub. Centrally located to Everything. Dollar General less than a mile away. The owners have provided every amenity needed to enjoy your stay. Would Definitely recommend this location and return again in the future. The owners are wonderful, attentive, and easy to communicate with. Reported an issue with the dryer and they had it replaced in less than a day. Beautiful home!!!! Don't look any further. Perfect home and location for all families.

Thanksgiving Trip

I have been in different rentals before where cooking anything was impossible, but we had an easy time in this well stocked kitchen making thanksgiving dinner. The location is quiet, close to the beach, and walking distance from a convenience store. The house was clean and comfortable and the cargo lift was the best!

Excellent location for beach wedding in Rodanthe / Salvo

Overall, property was pretty much as advertised. However, we were unable to utilize the outside lift to move luggage etc. to upper floors since the previous renter lost or took the remote control. Although the property owner was very apologetic, no effort was made to replace the remote control during our stay.

Hello John We are at the property now and it took me 5 seconds to locate the back up remote which WAS in the fireplace logs. I knew it was there and did not feel it necessary to order a new one and have it arrive days after your stay. I did offer to buy all of you dinner for your inconvenience. I grew up in Copley, Ohio. My love of the ocean brought me to the OBX. I enjoy sharing my beach home so others can create timeless memories with their loved ones.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

I love the location because I enjoy everything about the water. An 8 minute walk to the left is the OCEAN/BEACH and a 5 minute walk to the right is the SOUND. Guests can enjoy paddle boarding, surfing, boogie boarding, and kayaking. I supply all of these toys and also bikes and corn hole. We love how we are centrally located from the North & the South of the island. Locally are some awesome restaurants on the water. Thirty five minutes North we have major shopping including the Outlets & just 5 minutes to the H2 0BX Water Sports Park. We are 5 minutes from laser, bowling, etc. Twelve minutes South we have more restaurants and a marina for traveling to other islands. You can also visit and experience the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Hop on the ferry and take a day run to Ocracoke and you can be back for the picturesque sunset. Within minutes we have restaurants, pubs, live music, karaoke, equipment rentals, jet skis, the ocean/waves, and the Sound for more shallow and calm waters to be enjoyed by all ages. Salvo also has the Salvo Day Use Park which is 5 minutes from us. It has sandy beaches, picnic tables, and warm, calm, shallow waters for the little ones. Yes, we have the perfect location!

Our saltwater pool caters to those who have sensitive skin. The saltwater is so soothing. It also has underwater seating areas.
You will be able to enjoy how well this home is maintained. We actually have a lawn which is nice for playing corn hole or enjoying a cookout in the picnic area. The view from the top balcony at night is perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze and the thousands of stars. A telescope is furnished. Our shell garden has a replica Cape Hatteras lighthouse with a functional rotating light which is pretty at night. Lots of these special extras! Oh, did I mention the nice sized outdoor shower with a dressing room? And the cargo lift that saves you from carrying luggage and groceries? We have designated paths to the water and a beach cart. And a kayak cart and a designated area to launch in the Sound.
