Superbe unité de copropriété de deux chambres / deux salles de bain. À l'est sur le port du sud-ouest. Les meilleurs levers de soleil sur l'île depuis votre terrasse!
L'unité est entièrement meublée. Cuisine complète, salle à manger, salon complet avec TV et WIFI. Poêle à bois dans le salon pour se détendre lors d'une nuit fraîche.
Suite parentale a un lit king avec ajout de salle de bain principale.
Il y a deux lits doubles dans la deuxième chambre. Draps de luxe dans les deux chambres.
Les deux salles de bains ont une douche / baignoire avec des serviettes de luxe.
L'unité a deux ponts - celui face à l'est a deux chaises longues et une table avec des sièges pour quatre.
Le pont arrière, accessible depuis les chambres, a des meubles de patio.
Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse situées dans la salle de stockage. Un barbecue est situé dans le garage. Il y a aussi une piscine creusée chauffée pour votre plaisir! Vous avez également accès aux associations Pier et Dock.
Cette propriété a certaines des meilleures vues de l'île! Prenez votre café du matin sur la terrasse surplombant le port sud-ouest - regardez les activités quotidiennes du port. Vues de Cadillac Mountain au nord-est.
Downtown Southwest Harbor est à dix minutes à pied! Grands restaurants et magasins tous à dix minutes à pied.
Le bus gratuit Island Explore s'arrête également devant le complexe.

Wonderful Stay in Southwest Harbor

Our family had a great time at this condo. Ted was a great host. The view was amazing. We enjoyed dining on the deck. The condo was clean and well-stocked. Beautiful Southwest Harbor Condo

We had the best time at this lovely condo with great harbor views. The place was very clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. Our host Ted was very helpful and just a text away. (Friendly, helpful neighbors too!) This is the quieter side of the island but just a short drive from Acadia and Bar Harbor (less traffic here too).

Ted’s condo was perfectly located in Southwest Harbor with an amazing view of the ships at Harbor. We ate almost every meal out on the deck. His condo is clean, and the kitchen is well stocked. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean too. We would love to stay again.

Beautiful Southwest Harbor Condo

Wonderful, clean condo had everything we needed! Great, quiet location about a half hour from main attractions in Acadia NP. Beautiful view of Southwest Harbor especially at sunrise! Ted was extremely responsive to our questions and had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Check in and out was a breeze. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to return in the future. A gorgeous part of the country and a lovely condo!

Great Stay!

We loved our stay at Western Way Condos despite a lack luster weather week. The location was far enough from the hustle of Acadia and Bar Harbor but still close enough to get there easily. The unit was comfortable and clean. We all agreed that the beds were great! The views from the balcony were beautiful when we weren’t banked in with fog and the little town of Southwest Harbor was adorable! Make sure to visit the mini golf and ice cream shop! Thanks to Ted and Karen for a lovely stay!

Amazing stay in Acadia!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Ted’s condo. The views of the harbor from the front porch, especially at sunrise, were stunning. The kitchen is supplied with everything you could possibly need for cooking at home. We slept well on comfy beds with a cool breeze passing through the condo. Communication was excellent and Ted’s recommendations before we arrived were super helpful. We hope to visit again and stay in this wonderful condo. Thank you!

Wonderful home base!

Fabulous location, clean family friendly condo, loved having linens available, washer/dryer and garage really came in handy to store our bikes! Full kitchen with all the appliances and tools you need allowed us to prepare full meals. Porch is amazing to wind down the day watching the harbor and cars driving by. Beautiful heated pool was essential the week we were there and right across yard from the condo. Owner incredibly responsive to all my questions, all times of day, even for suggestions of where to find silly things we forgot from home. Truly an amazing place, we will definitely stay again if we plan another trip to MDI!

A great vacaton

This is a great vacation spot for families with young children. We enjoyed the many amenities of the condo including the front deck, the view over the harbor and the pool. On several evenings we observed seals while eating dinner on the deck. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer and we loved that towels and linens are provided. We went to several of the restaurants recommended by Ted but also loved eating at the condo. We had a rough arrival with our car breaking down on the way here, but Ted and the property manager helped us to find a garage.

You can believe the description. The condo is beautifully decorated. It’s very clean and well stocked. The view from the deck is great. Beautiful sunrise. Seals on a platform in the harbor. It was nice to be on the quiet side. Easy ride to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We loved staying there and would definitely use it again. Ted was wonderful to deal with. Very responsive and offered great advice for first timers to Maine. Thank you.

Great condo!

The view from the deck is amazing! The sunrise is gorgeous and we were fortunate to catch some amazing moonrises as well. The condo is in the perfect location and Ted supplies your paper supplies and trash bags as well as hand soaps and dishwasher and laundry soaps. This is such a thoughtful touch! Beds were super comfy and we loved our stay here! We had one minor hiccup upon arrival but Ted was super responsive and resolved the issue quickly. He's great to work with and has lots of wonderful ideas on ways to spend your time.

Excellent week on MDI

This was our first visit to Acadia and we had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. It was a great base for exploring everything and we were glad we chose the "quiet side" of the island. The condo is very clean with a well equipped kitchen, the owners provide everything you could need. We were even able to use their bikes on the carriage roads. We loved watching the harbor activity each morning and especially the evenings after being out exploring all day. The owners are very responsive and gave us many suggestions for restaurants and activities which we really appreciated as first time visitors. Highly recommend this property and hope to be back again!

Television woes

Was a little disappointed that tv did not have traditional cable so no local news, weather or sports available. We don’t have Hulu or other networks so we watched old programs.

Sorry for the tv entertainment did not live up to your expectations. In the days of streaming you can stream just about any local programing - we do have apps on the TV for NBC and Spectrum ESPN, YouTube, Netflix and Amazon. For 2022 we have installed standard basic cable.

Accommodating host and met all of our needs

Ted was a pleasure to work with, making suggestions for our family based on what we were looking to do in the area, preparing bikes for our use and being a prompt and thorough communicator. The unit was exactly as advertised, was very clean and well appointed and was a great location for exploring Acadia, and the surrounding harbor towns of Southwest Harbor, Bar Harbor, Bass Harbor and others. The “heated” pool was too chilly for our liking and the workout facility was pretty basic but we used nature and the outdoors as our workout and playground so really did not need those. Views from the condo and dock were beautiful, and Ted’s fresh lobster recommendations and cooking instructions were perfect! Highly recommend this property for family of 4 with teens. Thanks Ted!

Unnecessary Bad Experience

We stayed the week of Saturday June 12, 2021. When we arrived, we found the unit to be exactly as described in the VRBO listing. It was clean and comfortable. The pictures and description on the website reflected exactly what was there. The condo was incredibly organized. Anything we needed was there – usually in a drawer or door that was labeled. Throughout the rental process and our trip planning, I emailed the owner several times. He was very responsive to provide detailed, helpful information to make our visit memorable. Saturday and Sunday evenings, we sat outside on the deck to watch the sailboats on the harbor. Beautiful. Monday morning, shortly after seven, we awoke to hammering coming from the unit next door and on the adjoining wall to the bedroom. We were stunned. Tuesday morning – same thing. We got prepared and left for the day. When we returned from our day’s exploration, we happened upon a condo board association meeting being held in the driveway to our condo. When I asked about the renovations to the unit, I was told they were “extensive”. Wednesday morning, we awoke to rain – the perfect morning to sleep in a little and relax – and more hammering. I contacted the owner and he confirmed that two weeks prior to our arrival he had been at the condo and that a construction debris trailer was in the neighboring driveway. The owner did contact the association and the rest of the week, we awoke to less hammering – but the workers parked their trucks in front of the unit limiting the ability for me to get our vehicle out of the drive. From that day on – I set an alarm for 6:30 - got up and moved my vehicle from the driveway. We left each day but made certain to not return before 5:00 pm to avoid the construction noise and the power saw that was operated on the adjoining deck not 20 feet away. We never did utilize the deck again. Since we had already paid the full amount, the owner could have at least advised us that there might be construction noise – particularly when they are so well organized and provided detailed responses to my communications. But to surprise us by having us awaken to construction demolition when they required us to sign a document indicating that we agreed with Association’s 10:00 pm to 8:00 am “quiet time”?? The owner’s silence on the construction issues (and he told me he was in construction himself) says it all.

The work being completed was scheduled to be finished prior to your arrival, however had been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which we know has created a nation wide difficulty obtaining resources and workers. The work was being done to an adjacent unit, which was necessary to maintain codes and safety standards. I appreciate your patience and understanding! Condo by the bay

We were very pleased with these accommodations. The condo was very clean, well supplied with bedding and linens. The kitchen was well supplied with appliances and dishes. One of the best attributes of this condo is the location and the view overlooking the bay. We would definitely recommend this condo for anyone visiting this area of Maine.

This is the perfect retreat if you enjoy the outdoors! Best hiking on the east coast! Great bike riding on the carriage trails. Boating can't be beat.
Excellent restuarants with a short walk. And the views! You have to wake up early one morning to watch the sunrise from the deck - the show starts about 40 minutes before the published sunrise time - bring your camera with you! Simply amazing!

Only condo complex with a heated in-ground pool on the Island! Our own pier and dock - nice way to unwind in the after noon with a glass of wine!
