We had asked about a coffee pot and asked if it is a pod like a Keurig coffeemaker or a traditional on with a carafe so we knew what to buy at the grocery store once we got into town. We were told traditional when we got to the condo there was a small Keurig on the counter after digging around finally under the sink I located a very old and well disgusting coffee pot the warmer portion was covered in rust, the carafe was stained and had questionable stuff in it. The codes we were given did not work for the pool area so reached out to Southern and they had no clue why it wouldn't work and blamed the properties HOA for sure they must have changed it and never told them and they were trying to work on getting it for us. The solution they gave is to ask people to let us in or out which was fine accept it was very embarrassing when I was told no by another patron since they did not know if I was suppose to be there or not. The shower had 2 bars of very used soap in them with hair on them still, mold all along the ceiling in the master bathroom which I wish I would have looked up sooner I would have asked to be moved immediately, the rack for the towels was completely rusted that was over the toilet and there was mold and other dirt all over the tub and shower wall. Also paid for late checkout and they had messed it up and even said prove that they added it. I provided the email they sent confirming this, Prove it?? Absolutely awful!!! Yes I have pictures

Majestic Sun Spring Break

I have stayed here, and I LOVE the location! Steps from the beach, shopping, dining and not right in the heart of Destin, so it's not crowded. The room could use some updating, but overall had plenty of space and amenities for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Will stay at the MS again!

We loved this condo but it seriously needs to be updated. It had plenty of room for all of us but light bulbs were out and never got replaced during our stay and the condo was not very clean. The cleaning people need to be adjusted if they thought that was clean. Especially when you charge your customers so much for a cleaning fee! The location was amazing! Just poor cleaning and communication.

Family vacation

Majestic Sun is a great property. The only thing that would prevent me from staying here again is getting checked in. Everyone is trying to get in their condo at 4:p.m. we had to wait several minutes for a luggage cart and the line for elevators were long. Overall the trip was very enjoyable.

Location is great!

This property is nice, but could have been cleaner. It smelled great when we got there, but the carpets were very dingy and the tile floors had crud piled in the corners. There were also crumbs under the countertop appliances. That said, I realize it’s difficult to keep a beach rental in top shape and the location and layout made up for the negatives. The view was amazing, the beds were very comfortable, the shower drains didn’t back up, and the couches have been replaced since the listing pic. Overall pleased and would stay here again!

Dirty condo!

The condo we rented was outdated, there was a dirty towel under our bed along with pieces of paper, socks left under the bed from previous guest, grizzly wintergreen wrapper left under the dresser. There was pads and tampons left in our bathroom. A towel in the other bathroom had hair on it. We are very disappointed! Especially after the money we spent.

Horrible unit

Our unit wasn't cleaned had no livingroom furniture in it the main door was opened when we arrived it was 79 degrees in the room we had to wait on rooms to go to bring livingroom set the tub and beds hadn't been cleaned didn't get a reply bk about that til day 5 had to go buy own cleaning sup and clean our tubs and beds floors were nasty dinning room lights stopped wrkn

Less than expected

On the good side : The view was amazing. Kitchen well equipped. On the "not so good " side : Carpet was extremely dirty ( not even vacuumed) Bathroom door was broken Dirty shower head and sink in one bathroom overall cleanness was just poor broken drawers in one bedroom There was no one at the concierge desk in the 7 days we spent there

Enjoyable!

Overall great experience! First time we have been to this part of the gulf. Be prepared to rent beach chairs or get up at 5:00am to set up a tent if u want a good spot. Chair rentals take up all space in front of the buildings! We still had a wonderful time and getting up early just makes those beach days longer!

There were many things that need repair. Kitchen counters are stained and buckling. Furniture is too large for the room with 2 beds . Mattresses were too soft. Floors needed a major cleaning and re-caulking. Faucets dripped. It needs a lot of painting. Dishes are disorganized and randomly put up. The handle to the balcony door on the inside is missing. The dust ruffles on the queen size beds are too large or not properly placed. Some of the pillows had blood stains on them and not enough linens to change pillow cases. VRBO should not be connected to this unit.

Property was fine
 some confusion about door code .. door also didn’t lock automatically. A couple of “little things” would have improved it

Great location at Seascape resort with all great amenities including tennis club.

A bit outdated interior but nothing can beat the ocean view. Since our family loves tennis, we enjoyed the great courts at Destin tennis club for free and participated in daily round robin matches. Hope to get back soon!
