Beautiful Indigo Bay

Had a great time in Sint Maarten and Indigo Bay. The Villa was beautiful and location was great. It could use a little love but a wonderful place to stay. The pool was amazing! Jean and Estelle are the sweetest host ever. Thank you for having us.

Stunning Waterfront House. Outstanding Property Manager!

We had the most wonderful time staying for a week at Emeraude in Indigo Bay. The house is masterfully designed with no detail left untouched. From the oceanfront front views and impressive pool to the indoor koi pond (we miss the fish), the outdoor shower, beautiful furniture, thoughtful welcome basket, and so much more we felt like we were in a 5-star resort! Our family of 6 had plenty of room to spread out and relax – we had the most wonderful time. And to top off a beautiful house, Marina was the best of the best hostess! She was responsive, gave great suggestions, was attentive, helpful, kind, thoughtful, and just an all-around fantastic person. We are very thankful to have stayed at this beautiful house and will have wonderful memories for years to come.

Le luxe dans un décor de rêve

Dans ce havre de paix, tout est fait pour passer des vacances de rêve. A notre arrivée, Marina nous accueil avec un sourire chaleureux et tout de suite nous dispense ses conseils pour ici un restaurant à ne pas manquer et là un bar aux cocktails fruités. On a le souffle coupé lorsque l’on arrive dans la propriété. Le spectacle devant nos yeux est grandiose, la Mer des Caraïbes, limpide, turquoise comme sur les photos s’étend devant nous, dans une propriété de Maître ornée d’une végétation luxuriante. La terrasse et piscine appellent au farniente, le calme est total, pas un bruit si ce n’est le ressac au loin et les chants d’oiseaux. La surprise est encore plus grande lorsque l’on entre dans l’appartement où rien n’a été laissé au hasard. Un aménagement moderne et luxueux nous apprivoise d’entrée. Les aromes diffusés apaisent et nous font oublier les heures de voyage. Les chambres à coucher sont très spacieuses et d’un confort remarquable. Et que dire des provisions que Marina a pensé nous laisser, sachant que son locataire éphémère n’arrive pas chargé de réserves ? Fruits exotiques, fromage, lait, beurre et bien plus encore sont là pour passer les premières heures d’un séjour enchanteur. Et pour couronner le tout, le champagne dans le seau à glace, bien frais, prêt à être dégusté sous une petite brise pas même rafraîchissante. Parfois, durant le séjour, Marina nous envoie un petit message, s’inquiétant de notre bien-être , prête à nous divulguer quelques secrets pour passer des moments inoubliables sur une plage ou encore dans un petit coin où les fruits de mer et menus locaux sauront enchanter nos papilles. Pour passer des vacances de rêve, on peut voyager à travers le monde. Ici, on est au Paradis ! Merci Marina, vous êtes une Maîtresse des lieux avec un grand M.

We were blown away by how beautiful the home was. Even better than the photos. The hosts were lovely and helped us before and during our stay. Just wonderful The villa was so beautiful and well stocked we didn’t want to go out. Best holiday villa ever , and I am quite difficult to please ! We hope to come back. And so very glad we booked Villa Emeraude

Marina is the best host we have ever had, and the villa was perfect — beautiful view, nice pool, great accommodations! We highly recommend it. Great location too. Remember to bring mosquito spray.

Perfect Place for a Honeymoon

My Wife and I rented Marina’s place and we couldn’t have been happier with this Vrbo. We rented a car (well worth it on the island) and quickly discovered that this is perfectly located. Everything is within a 5-20 minute drive and it is in a high end gated community with 24 hour security on site. The photos don’t do this place justice. This had hands down the best view I’ve ever had from a master bedroom. There isn’t a room in this place that didn’t have a breathtaking view. If I had one minor complaint about this place, it would be the mattress in the master bedroom. A brand new mattress would literally make this location flawless. If we come back to Sint Maarten, we will absolutely try to stay here again. I also need to share how impressed we were with the host. Marina’s communication was excellent, she gave us some amazing restaurant recommendations and it is very obvious she is an experienced host. All in all l, a perfect place.

Great quiet location with a beautiful beach

This is a beautiful property in Indigo Bay, which is only 10-15 minutes from anything else you would want to do on the island. The views are stunning, the pool is a very nice amenity, and the beds and linens are very comfortable. The kitchen is wonderful for cooking and dining, as there is a great indoor/outdoor feel to the main living area. Marina, the host, is very helpful and responsive and it was a wonderful week for our family. We would definitely stay here again!

BEST HOUSE EVER

We have rented over 25 houses in the past 10 years around the world and this house is THE BEST. Everything was perfect. The house manager, Estelle, helped us with reservations, printing documents, food deliveries and was just so kind. Every room has a fantastic view and the pool was gorgeous. The house was cleaned every other day and the pool cleaned daily. The pictures don’t do it justice. We will be back…and often.

Private Oasis

The home is as advertised! It is in the quiet, yet centrally located Indigo Bay neighborhood. IB is 10 minutes from everything and is a great spot for seclusion, while also being accessible to pretty much anything you want to do. Estelle, the manager, stood out as exceptional! She had her baby the day before we arrived (congratulations!) so her husband met us at the house to show us around. And a new baby didn’t keep Estelle from checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. She also gave us some fabulous restaurant recommendations. The house is nicely appointed with everything you’ll need to make it your own for your stay. When we arrived, the fridge contained milk, eggs, jams and snacks. There were several bottles of water and a chilling bottle of champagne on ice on the kitchen counter! A very nice surprise! The property is beautiful with fantastic views of the sea and the passing boats and ships. It should be noted in fairness to others considering staying here that there is a house under construction below the villa. It’s down the hill at the waterline and is in the foundation stage (July 2022). This means there was/will be some construction sounds to contend with for a bit while enjoying the pool. The noise is minimal and didn’t bother us, but if you are looking for complete silence, just consider that. If you tend to sleep in, note that you CANNOT hear it inside the villa at all. It is very quiet. Overall, we had a great stay, and this villa is a very good choice! Thank you!

Pure Bliss

This place is beyond!! The pictures do not even do it justice, which is hard to believe. The house had everything you would ever need, was impeccable and just top notch. Champagne and food upon arrival along with fresh flowers was such a nice touch. Jean Elie and team were so easy to communicate with, and check-in/check-out process was flawless. We cannot wait to come back.

WOW !!!

What an amazing place to stay and I wish we were still there!!! Marina is an AMAZING host with one of the best properties on St Martin. Marina provided supplies for our few breakfasts which was a great relief since by the time we landed, picked up our Jeep and got to the home it was close to sunset... so all we had to worry about was snacking on the charcuterie that Marina left for us and sip our drinks as we watched the sunset from the deck (amazing sunset location!!!!). Indigo Bay is a wonderful place to be based in St Martin, nothing is more than a 15-30 min ride from anything. There are 2 well stocked markets a short car ride from the home, and way more excellent restaurants than you will be able to visit on your stay (you have to get to restaurant row in Grand Case). Be sure you bring your binoculars so you can watch the pilot boats deliver the pilots to the cruise ships in the morning and see the super yachts as they sail by. On clear days you can see Saba Island just south, and at night you will see the cruise ships leaving and heading to their next port of call. Indigo Bay Beach is one of the best beaches on the island and off the tourist path, so it is not crowded. And you need to try Indigo Bay restaurant, it has fantastic food and is another hidden gem just a few hundred meters from the home, say Hi to Randy and tell him Tim & Sandy sent you :) The splash pool was perfect for us, it was in full sun 9:00am until about 3:30pm, on the few "pool days" we did that was enough sun time before we needed to get ready to go on the town and grab some dinner. If you are driving it's a bit tricky to find, ask Marina for her video that will lead you to the home since there are no addresses or street signs. And the driveway to the home is STEEP... so if you drive make sure you have a 4 wheel drive car, or you will need to park at the bottom of the driveway. If you are looking for privacy with amazing views this is the best place to stay (and yet everything seemed to be only 1.2-1.6 miles away). It was an amazing trip and well worth staying at Marina's home!!!

Perfect stay away

Marina is a fantastic host! Very easy communication and we felt cared about the whole time. The home is private and serine with everything you need to relax and cook. We had lovely provisions in the home to get us started which came in handy when our plane arrived late after dark and grocery and restaurants were limited. We were relieved that Marina had arranged for Estelle to meet us at the car rental as it made the trip to the home stress free and she was so kind and sweet. Our first introduction to the island. The views are magnificent and we watched the boats every day from the deck we even caught a glimpse of a monkey in the tree outside the bedroom window and a few lizards. There are so many windows we could always see the ocean. The home is very close to the grocery store and town and walking distance to Indigo restaurant which was delightful. Great food and atmosphere. After our day trips we could not wait to go back to the house. Thanks for sharing your paradise with us.

Wedding with family held at Emeraude

The property was a beautiful experience. The property was as beautiful as the pictures suggest. Jean Elie was responsive to our requests and helped make our stay pleasant. The home is very well outfitted for nice meals and there was supplies like toilet paper, high end soap and shampoo and even a fruit basket and champagne to greet us on arrival. We held our wedding at the villa and pictures were excellent. You won't be disappointed with your stay here!

Great Villa - need some updates!

I've wanted to stay at Villa Emeraude for the last 2 years. Owners did a great job capturing the photos of the villa and it is very beautiful indeed. There were some things we were slightly disappointed in though. The piano was not automatic as described and there was not a telescope as shown in the pictures. The kids were a bit definitely in this. There were several cobwebs in multiple rooms, hot tub kept tripping the power, shades didn't work the first night, the shower head hose kept coming off, the groundskeeper and maid showed up unannounced and was in the villa after we left for the day, there was a swarm of flies that overtook the pool, etc... For this type of villa, maintenance is required to maintain the beauty. Overall, it was a great and beautiful stay.

AMAZING VILLA!

What an amazing place! The pictures don't do it justice! They are exactly as pictured and MORE. Jean Elie and the group helped us arrange a chef and provided a full concierge service via WhatsApp group that helped organize anything we needed during our stay. Responses were prompt and more than accommodating. My wife and I have an 11 month old and they provided a crib for us. My sister & her husband have 2 boys (5 & 7) and they loved chasing lizards and the pool. Indigo Bay overall is a nice gated community with a ton of privacy. You will need to get a car/drive if you want to go to the beach. 10/10 would recommend.

Villa on the Hill

Villa with two bedrooms... one closet... beautifully appointed ..simply modern. Nice appliances all with French use directions... Splash pool for cooling off... very private area... View is unbelievable... Watch out for the mosquitoes...remember to rent a car. . Yes, I would visit Emerald House again...
