We always love staying at the king and prince. The proximity to the beach and restaurants is unbeatable. This condo was clean and had a great view. Check in was super easy.

Great unit!

My family and I had a really fantastic vacation in St. Simons over memorial day weekend! This unit is fantastic, updated and very clean. The owner was very responsive and our children had a great time walking to the pool and beach every day. Would definitely recommend!

Nice place, just what we were looking for

The front door and It’s lock is a little tricky but otherwise the place is really nice. The resort pool is great. You think most of the criticisms of this unit are a bit overblown. I would absolutely, and probably will, rent it again.

Nice family vacation

Condo was great for our family of 4. View of ocean was very nice. The rental allowed access to all of the amenities of staying at the King and Prince for much less than booking through the resort. Pillows and blankets on the beds were not very comfortable - I would bring my own next time.

Nice Condo

Overall this was a great place. We had a great family vacation, our only complaint is the mattress in the master was very hard and uncomfortable. The lock on the front door was a little tricky due to the beach air but once we figured it out we didn’t have any trouble.

Wonderful condo, location is perfect!

My family traveled to St. Simon’s for a quick beach vacation and had the best time here. Benji was super helpful and check in was a breeze. The keys were waiting for us at the hotel desk when we arrived. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed. I even forgot to take a piece of luggage and Benji contacted me right away and even delivered it the next day to our friends who were staying at the same building. We would love to come back!

Checks most boxes, upgrades needed

Great balcony views and having full access to the resort is what you’re paying for. Unit is dated and could use upgrades in many areas. Kitchen supplies and towels would be a good start, upgrading the TVs would also be a positive. The queen mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. Overall location of the unit is great, easy access to the elevator and short walk to the main pool.

Family spring break

The condo was clean and tidy upon our arrival. We liked the location of the property on the island as well as the condo being part of the resort and it’s amenities. The view was lovely. As other reviews have mentioned, the front door was difficult to open. Also, there were limited supplies of things like toilet paper, dish soap, garbage bags, etc…in the unit.

Beautiful View - Condo Needs Updating

First, the property has a million-dollar view, and the location is wonderful. However, the condo itself hasn’t been updated in a long time. Here are a few of the main issues: The carpet was disgusting with spots everywhere (I definitely wouldn’t let a child crawl around on it;) the dishwasher isn’t anchored down, so when you pull the handle, the entire machine tips forward; the shower head in the main shower barely spits water; one of the chairs on the balcony is broken so you nearly tip over backward; and the microwave over the stove is broken, so rather than replace it, they just stuck another one in the corner. That said, the island is incredibly relaxing with great restaurants/activities, and the King & Prince Resort is beautiful. We definitely plan to return on another vacation but would not rent this unit again.

Great location, great condo.

We really enjoyed the condo, it was perfect for our family of 4. You can't beat the location and the condo was very well stocked and comfortable. The door/key was very tricky and we got locked out - luckily the property manager was reachable and able to help. The master is not a king size bed, and the ceiling fan was quite noisy, but overall it was a great property and we would rent there again. Thank you!

Great location

Easy access and great location. Condo absolutely is what presented on VBRO. Good conditioin and all new appliances! We've been coming back to St. Simons and the Condos on site for 20 years. Re K&P: over time it would be nice if the grounds, surroundings (Condo buildings incl. entrance, hallways, parking, balconies, roofs, etc.) would get a general maintenance overhaul. The premises are getting very very "tired". Another comment re K&P: It was unusually cold for the time of year we visited (a week before Easter), asked K&P if we could have an extra blanket which was not possible as the condo is privately owned. Offered to leave a deposit or "rent" blankets. Still K&P refused. Shame. Service at the hotel was very poor.

Perfect family beach trip!

Amazing spot for our family of four! We’ve stayed at K and P many times and have always absolutely loved it. Would definitely come back to stay again, as this unit has just about everything you need. Appreciated the beach towels but would have also liked to have beach chairs available to use. Rented some from Barry’s Beach service instead which was great but added an extra cost.
