We enjoyed our weekend stay. It was just my husband and I, but we had plenty of room for another couple or our adult girls. There were 2 nice size bedrooms/bathrooms, a 1/2 bath, full sized kitchen with a great table for 6 and a roomy living area. We enjoyed the extra space and sitting on the balcony overlooking the street. The weather was beautiful during our visit.

Room with a view.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife found this VRBO after seeing people sitting on the front deck over looking Mallory Street. The Main Street in St Simon. We love to people watch, so for coffee in the AM or cocktails in the PM it was a show. Palmers for breakfast across the street, so you can easily see if the line has died down. The Porch for Nashville Hot Chicken for lunch, a walk down the back street and then Georgia Sea Grill for dinner. Also a block away. So convenient. Oh and my son walked the two blocks to the pier to fish, rented gear at the corner tackle shop. A perfect day. Definitely be back here.

The location is excellent, however having workers performing landscaping and blowing every weekday beginning at 6:45 am was not exactly relaxing. Caution to those also to be prepared for the long set of steep stairs, you will get yourselves a workout on them

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I think that this the 8th year in a row that we have rented this property. After all these years it feels like home away from home. Can't beat it for location and convenience to all that the Village offers.The stairs are getting to be a bit of a challenge when loading to go back home and unloading the vehicle upon arrival, but not an issue the rest of the time. We are getting older and could pack a little lighter. Real Escapes team has always been excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Friends getaway

Loved the location that overlooked the Main Street in St Simons. Wrought iron balcony was perfect for coffee in the am and cocktails in the pm. Spacious apartment, with large kitchen , sunken living room and 2 large and comfortable bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Perfect!

Perfect place to stay in the perfect location

This was our first trip to St Simon's Island but it won't be our last. This place is so incredibly beautiful. I can't imagine there being any more central place to stay than the Village Overlook, it's perfect. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see on the island easily. There are so many great restaurants nearby and the scenery is just amazing (seriously, I hate the beach with a passion but the oak trees and the spanish moss may have converted me. It's like they built the whole city around and under the trees). Can't wait to stay here again.

Saint Simons 2023

This is our 2nd time staying at location. We love the whole vibe of the unit ands its location. The location was very convenient for walking to the pier, shops and many restaurants. Overall a great vacation. Can’t wait for our next trip to Saint Simons!!

Wonderful Loft in St. Simon

This was a really great place to stay. The apt was clean, stylish and roomy, with a fun balcony to sit out on. It was really convenient to little shops and restaurants, and also to the pier. Every night after eating at one of the many restaurants we would walk to the pier to watch the sunset, and sea birds, and then walk around the town. It was very relaxing. During the day we went biking on St. Simon and Jekyll Island. We felt lucky to have such a fun, well furnished place to stay while on St. Simon Island. It was great too as they give you your own free parking spot right by the building.

Great much needed getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the first time ever I have not stayed oceanfront at SSI. I was able to plan a last minute getaway with one of my friends and we thoroughly enjoyed staying in Village Overlook. The condo was big, open and super roomy with pretty much 2 master bedrooms. Beds were super comfortable which is a must for me. Only suggestion is label the many, many light switches!
