Situé en face de la baie d'Aransas, ce chalet 1BR récemment rénové dispose d'une terrasse ensoleillée, d'une aire de pique-nique ombragée au bord de l'eau et d'une jetée privée. Vous profiterez également d'une cour et d'un patio privés - avec deux grilles.

Le centre-ville de Rockport et la plage ne sont qu'Ă  quelques minutes!

SALON

Passez du temps ensemble dans le salon confortable, meublé d'un canapé et d'un fauteuil. Jouez à un jeu de cartes à table pour deux ou regardez vos émissions préférées sur le téléviseur à écran plat de 32 pouces.

Had issues with no hot water or gas for stove but it was fixed with in 24 hours . Wish dishes and house was cleaner . Had a safety issue in living room . There was no cover on an electric outlet on the wall of bed that my younge daughter could have hurt herself badly with . Could not walk in the house barefoot due to not being able to prevent tracking stickers through the house . Did have good fishing at dock and good view .

Beautiful view, private pier a few steps away. Very quiet on a one-way street, located in a friendly neighborhood where people walk their dogs and ride their bikes and say hello when they pass you. Less than 10 minutes to an area of Rockport that has several places to eat, both local establishments and chain restaurants as well. The house has window, air conditioners, but we enjoy the background noise because we were both raised at a time when we used box fans in the summer to keep cooler rather than air conditioning. The house was clean, and we felt safe and secure there. Not fancy, but well worth the price.

Fishing Trip

Check in was super easy and the house is very close to the water! The bed is comfy, that’s big for us. There were people in the main house so we shared the pier, it’s private to the house but if someone is in the main house you share it. It does have an older feeling but it is cute. The kitchen did have everything we needed and was stocked well.

Wood bathroom floor slats were buckled and not able to close bathroom door, several window shades not working and had to be rolled up by hand, AC unit in front room does not provide adequate cooling. Note this was my second stay at Joy’s cottage this year. The location is great and we love the pier.

Very Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very disappointed in the property. It’s in a good location across from the water, but the property is NOT suitable or accessible for elderly or handicapped people, nor someone with small children. The furnishings are old and dilapidated. The photos seem cute and quaint.I called management even though it was after hours and request an exchange of properties. They said they did not have any available,but would refund our money if we could find something else, but were sure we couldn’t at that late date. We tried and tried to book somewhere else, but to no avail. We were stuck. The steps to the second level where the bathroom and kitchen are very steep and without husband is on a walker and can’t climb steps. We had to come and go by the back door where the steps weren’t much better and again no handrails. Trying to get him in and out of the property was very perilous at best. The bathroom floor had buckled in a sharp V-shape from the bathroom door to the toilet between it and the shower. It’s a fall hazard. The bathroom door would not close without great force. It was a tripping hazard for us.The kitchen faucet shot up off its connector spraying water all over the kitchen cabinet . I texted management who sent a maintenance person to fix while we were out. All they did was put putty around the connected. When I turned the faucet on that evening, it shot up and off again. To say we were disappointed is putting it mildly. Never again!

Fabulous location, house needs work

The location is perfect. The dock is perfect, the water super clear, it's close to everything. The house is a historic gem: it has withstood so many hurricanes. It's really sad to see it in such a state of disrepair. For example, there is an obious leak under the shower that is bowing the wood (original wood floor). A lot of things are old and about to break. But overall, we had a really good stay. I would still recommend this place, but adjust expectations.

Cute cottage with beautiful views and dock. Stayed as a small family with two young children who loved the front patio/porch. Very close to shops, beach, and ferry but far enough that you can enjoy the sound of nothing but waves.

On the Water

This is a great location if you are there to fish or just relax! It has a great pier and is close to the center of everything! It's not fancy but great for just two. The management was super dealing with our concerns.

Very nice place

We travel to Rockport for the first time just to have a couple of days of relaxing, and this house was just the right place. We did enjoy the deck. It has window units, not central AC, and ceiling fans in every room, however, if the noise bothers you, the window unit in the main bedroom is noisy. Noise does not bother me

A Beautiful View from the cottage and from the pier

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The little cottage by the sea has a beautiful view and the private pier is awesome for watching the sunrise and sunset. Nina the manager of the property was very responsive and very patient and very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked with cookware and all we needed. There are steps from the sitting area into the dining/kitchen area. The location was convenient for walking to downtown for meals and shopping and also for the tourist spots. Water Street has a fascinating history and is a fun walk. I would definitely stay again.
