Perfect get away

The house has plenty of room to enjoy with your family or large group. The view is gorgeous. There is an “ apartment “ that’s not connected Gave everyone lots of space Will be returning soon :)

Good lake house for groups

Property was great, but we were not able to get any questions answered ahead of time. Wanted to confirm gas grill and a few other things. Enjoyed our stay.

Nice Gathering Spot

Nice large main living area with well stocked kitchen. AC did not work very well in cooling main room and it was only April. No shade outside which could be an issue in summer. Old green carpet in bedrooms ans thin sheets with no mattress pads. Quick response when unable to access apartment above carport

Weekend Getaway

This was a trip with three friends to get away and have fun. This is actually a beautiful piece of property. The unfortunate things for us were that the description of the property lists it as 4 bedrooms but neglects to mention that it is two separate buildings. Next door is a rundown old motel. Checking into the main house was simple but there was no code given for the upstairs second unit. After two phone calls with customer service we were given the correct code for the upstairs unit. It looks like we might have been the first people to stay in awhile because the property needs a good spring cleaning. Half the hanging lights in the kitchen were out. The under counter lights flicker. Cobwebs inside the house and the windows need a thorough cleaning. The great room is beautiful, The kitchen is large and the bedrooms in the main house are large with very nice bathrooms. The main house could easily rent as 3 bedrooms as the game room has a full bath. We had a great weekend but there needs to be some tender loving cleaning and assessing done on the property.

Large rooms and great views

This house was large and had great views from the great room. Wish that it had an area with shade outside so you could have enjoyed sitting outside. The patio was filthy with grease on table and a powdered substance under the table. The kids also picked up a razor blade on the patio as well. The front porch desperately needed to be washed down as there was popsicle everywhere. Inside of house was ok with the exception that it could use a good scrubbing (walls and modeling). The main negative was the AC in the main house did not get the temp below 76 during the day. After being out on the water all day you just wanted to come back to a cool house and it wasn’t. The decor was a bit strange with several notes that things were family heirlooms and not to touch. If you like flat pillows and extra firm mattresses this is your place.

Grand house on LBJ!

We were relocated to this house after finding out our originally booked 3 story had no elevator. If it wasn’t for Vacasa manager, Mandy we would of been stuck with nothing. She jumped through hoops to find us a suitable home. This home was beautifully decorated, huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake and a beautiful groomed backyard. Thanks again Mandy for your above & beyond help. Will book again! Albert H

Great Spot on the Lake

My family and my brothers family stayed here for the weekend, we very much enjoyed our stay. The large windows overlooking the lake were a favorite feature. The property is easy to get to, grocery store is just a few minutes away for last minute items needed. We stayed here with small children and there aren't really any items available for them (pack n play, high chair, any games, etc.) so expect to bring all that with you. We ended up all bunking up together in the main house as the apartment above the garage is very closed off - not really any windows (def no views of lake) and the furniture in the bedrooms is really too big for the space so it felt very cramped compared to the main house. The rooms below are very large and spacious, but furniture is a bit on the antique side (cabinets full of glass items, etc.), 100 year old piano/organ - which wouldn't be my preference for our three toddlers but the large open kitchen and bedrooms were great.

Great place with easy water access!!

We loved the home- very clean and tons of space. The property manager was super fast to respond with any answers we needed. Love that there are two sets of washer and dryers so I could keep up with our laundry and went home with nothing to wash at the end of our trip! That’s a win!! The water was perfect even for our little children…not really deep so didn’t have to be super paranoid of the kids swimming. We will come back again!!

Probably wouldn’t stay again and wouldn’t recommend

Wish we would have known the house was not connected to all rooms and you had to walk outside and there’s no lights going up stairs and house was not cleaned well had a lot of spiderweb and bugs inside everywhere and leaves was covered the porch area. Fridge leaked water. From the pics and you get there you’ll seem to be in two different homes.

Pleasant Stay, will book again, didn't catch any fish though

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The check-in and check-out process was simple. The water in the backyard was a good shallow depth (4ft at most). The water was cold but still enjoyable. The slab was only 10 mins away. Fishing from the dock was not good, very minimal activity but was still very relaxing and easy to cast. The ac is multizone setup, so the master bedroom tends to get very cold. that's worth keeping in mind when deciding on who sleeps where. The master bathtub had hot water issues, but since we weren't using it we didn't complain. The main living area has wood flooring, which was quite dirty. Our toddler had black feet after running a round a few hours. This appears to be a common complaint based off the reviews. A few minor cleanliness issues include, cobwebs in the upstairs apartment. The fridge leaked some water but was not a major issue. The PM was made aware , but I offered to postpone maintenance until we left. Overall we loved the place. beautiful house, nice kitchen, awesome sunsets. We had a very relaxing time. It's also a short drive from San Antonio. The local HEB is also 2 min drive and there is an HEB that delivers to the house. Side note, the local bait shop appears to be anti-covid19 mask, as he asked me to take it off when I entered his shop and he didn't wear one while I was there.

the house is nice all the furniture is old and worn but the windows and the view is great the house is big. Woke up one morning with someone from the next house to us sleeping on the patio of our rent house woke him up and he want to his place next door. Not worth 2 k for 2 days to me but may to others

Great Lake house!

House was great, beautiful view overlooking the lake. Dealing with the property management company is terrible, they never email back for questions.

Loved it! House was big n very spacious. We had access to manager (via phone), whom answered our questions n helped make our trip run smoothly while we were there. The house has beautiful views n great private lake access. We would definitely recommend it! It was just what we needed!

Two separate Living Quarters

Two totally separate buildings connected by an outdoor staircase and parking area. Based on the homes description it has 4 bedrooms- but it’s two homes with 2 bedrooms in each— very misleading especially for a multigenerational family with an infant that expected to be under the same roof. The home was clean, right on the water, and had everything needed for cooking large family meals. It is very close to the odd motel next door and has very little privacy. This was difficult for our family as the motel nextdoor had a 60 person fraternity party outside our window with a shared backyard.

Dirty house, NO communication with leasing company! Really high fees, for NO service.
