Sarah's Coastal Cottage - Shem Creek et la plage!

SituĂ©e dans un vĂ©ritable quartier du sud avec des palmiers et des chĂȘnes vivants, cette charmante maison en brique de plain-pied est parfaite pour une escapade en famille Ă  la plage, explorer l'histoire Ă©tonnante de Charleston ou profiter du charme du mont. AgrĂ©able. Le front de mer, les marais et la plage ne sont qu'Ă  quelques minutes de vĂ©lo (des vĂ©los sont disponibles!). La maison peut accueillir jusqu'Ă  6 adultes et 2 enfants.

Cette jolie maison en briques de style ranch de 4 chambres (3 + salle FROG privée à l'étage) a été complÚtement rénovée ces derniÚres années, et l'espace est parfaitement adapté pour 6 adultes ou une famille (8 personnes au total). Passez du temps le matin avec une tasse de café frais dans le patio ou allongé avec le papier sur le canapé surdimensionné dans le salon. L'ßle de Sullivan, le centre-ville de Charleston ou le mont. Le quartier de Shem Creek de Pleasant n'est qu'à quelques minutes!

Very comfortable & clean!

We stayed while attending a couple of days at the Charleston Open. It was a great location in a very quiet neighborhood. The property was well maintained and the host (Sarah) was very responsive. We had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. Would definitely recommend as well as stay there again.

Great place

We were in town for a baseball tournament and this house checked all the boxes. Lots of space, very clean, and owner very quick to respond to any questions we had. Location was perfect for quick access to beach and great places to eat

Great Home Away From Home!

It was a comfortable and cozy home away from home. Great location. Close to Charleston. Close to the airport. Close to the beach. Great local dining options. Shem Creek just a few miles down the street. We will definitely recommend to others, and would gladly stay again on our next trip!

The property is in a nice, safe, and quiet neighborhood about 15-20 minutes from downtown Charleston. It is very well kept, clean and definitely has everything we need! I would definitely stay at this place if we were in town again.

Great value just outside the city

The location and value proposition of this property are hard to beat. Just a short drive to all the spots without the price of the downtown properties. Ours was a golf trip, and this property was centrally located with amenities close by.

Wonderful stay!! perfect location!

The location of the property was absolutely perfect. Just minutes from everything we wanted to do except for the Cypress Gardens. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and had everything we needed to live comfortably for a week away from home. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 five stars! We will definitely be staying again our next trip to Charleston/Mt pleasant area

Fishing weekend

This property suited our needs well, for a family fishing weekend, with the boat. There was room in the driveway for vehicle and trailer, which was one of our main reasons for choosing it. The location was perfect for everything related to the stay, and to boat ramps, etc.

Great house & garden

We had a wonderful stay at Mount Pleasant - nice house with a great backyard in a quiet neighborhood! Everything (Sullivan Beach, down town Charleston, grocery stores, restaurants) is within 15min. House was very clean and welcoming. The property manager was great - very helpful and always prompt to answer any questions. We highly recommend this house!

Perfect for our baseball/beach vacation

Really enjoyed staying at Sarah’s cottage. Was perfect for our family as we had 3 couples. The room above the garage was fantastic for our teenager so he could have a dedicated space to himself. Kitchen well equipped with everything you could want for cooking. *suggestions include a drying rack for suits and towels and maybe a small vacuum to allow tenants to do a quick cleanup.

Better than even expected

We loved Sarah’s coastal cottage! It was so spacious and clean. When I had questions for Sarah she got back to me immediately. Cute neighborhood and can walk to some shops and coffee. Perfect place for us to stay for family wedding in surrounding area. Ubers were easy to access also. Thank you Sarah!

We love biking around Mount Pleasant with our kids, and we purchased this property from a friend who has run it as a short-term rental for the last several years. We hope you enjoy life in Mount Pleasant as much as we do! We love the proximity to Sullivan's Island (our favorite beach!), the Old Village, and kayaking on Shem Creek. Charleston is a quick drive across the bridge where you can take in a carriage ride, explore great art museums, and learn more about the history of our nation!

Housekeeping in the COVID-19 Era. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic began this spring, guests have been asking about our cleaning protocols, and wondering if the house will be safe to stay in. The short answer is: we're doing everything in our power to ensure that our guests have a safe and germ-free stay! I employ a local cleaning company that has been awarded top honors in the region for home cleaning services, and one of the things that makes them unique is their commitment to using organic, non-toxic cleaning products whenever possible. However, in the current environment, they have implemented strict adherence to guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, which includes, but is not limited to: increasing the concentrate of disinfectant and upgrading to a hospital grade, EPA-approved product, wiping down all hard surfaces with an anti-bacterial solution, requiring all staff to wear gloves and booties while in the home, as well as disinfecting all equipment after every house cleaning. These precautions cost additional time and money, but we hope the extra investment will give you added peace of mind in knowing that you're stepping into a safe and spotless home.
