Escape to our cozy 2-bedroom vacation home in Decatur, where you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Tennessee. Nestled between the Tennessee River/ Chickamauga Lake, and the Hiwassee River, this property offers unparalleled access to the great outdoors.

Want to bring the family dog? A well mannered, house trained pet is welcomed so long as they aren’t permitted on the furniture and never left alone unsecured in the house.

Unwind in the living room by the crackling fireplace, or enjoy a movie night on the smart TV with satellite/cable channels. Stay connected with the free WiFi, and take care of your laundry with the in-unit washer and dryer.

When you're not exploring the nearby rivers and lakes, savor home-cooked meals in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with a gas stove/oven, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances and utensils. This was the best VRBO I have stayed in. My friend and I like to play board games with natural light and pretty views and this property delivered. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, the best I’ve ever rented. We hope to visit again this summer to utilize the dock and kayaks.

We had a wonderful weekend stay (me, husband, 3 kids aged 4-12, and dog). This is the CLEANEST rental we've ever stayed in. We wanted something simpler for fall break and this was perfect. No need to leave the house. I could honestly stay for a month! The lake view is gorgeous. The dock is sturdy and large. We spent a lot of time on the kayaks and paddleboards just enjoying life at a simpler pace. The hosts are so hospitable and kind!

What a wonderful place to visit!! Inside was charming with great views of the lake through large picture windows! We felt at home!! We highly recommend this place!!! They even offer small craft and a convenient dock!! We also enjoyed the variety of birds

Amazing vacation on Lake Chickamauga. The views of the lake are incredible beautiful dock to fish off of or just float in a tube and enjoy the amazing mountains.

Always perfect

This is our 3rd year in a row and we’re never disappointed. The place is so cozy and well kept and lacks for nothing to enjoy your stay. We feel at home everyone we’re here. We were here for a volleyball tournament but our daughter is a senior so we will not be back for that anymore but have grown so fond of this place that we will probably be back to just relax and enjoy.

Quiet restful and just perfect

We first stayed here last summer and were delighted to return for a quiet week of kayaking, swimming, and enjoying all the wildlife. This is the perfect place to unplug for a few days and enjoy time with family. Rick and Debbie are excellent hosts anticipating every need. House is a delight well equipped, cozy and comfortable.

Great Stay

The property was just as advertised. Communication with the owners/managers was excellent - they responded to any questions immediately. Place was clean, and even filled with extra touches to make the stay great. We had fun on the water, found a neat hike close by, the outdoor space was great, and had an overall fantastic experience.

MAGICAL

The property and the owners are incredible! Our stay was so peaceful and filled with so many laughs. Words cant really describe what an awesome place this is. Awesome week at the bungalow

This is our second stay at the bungalow in the last year. The home is extremely clean and well stocked with amenities. The hosts, Rick and Debbie, are top notch! Our favorite parts of our stay were fishing, kayaking, dinner on the back deck at sunset, and we were able to go to the Moo festival in Athens. Highly recommend, can’t wait for another visit.

Welcoming and Comfortable

Beautiful new dock for the boat with lights and electricity. Totally equipped kitchen. Great living room with comfortable easy chairs and full views of the lake from panoramic windows. Beautiful gardens and convenient circular drive for boat trailer. Great all around.

Was probably the cleanest place we've ever stayed at, which was a huge plus. Our pet was openly welcomed which was great! House and beds were comfortable. The only negative thing I could say,is, if you want to fiish in November, check lake levels 1st.

Like home away from home

We stayed here last year during our daughters volleyball tournament and the place was absolutely beautiful, clean and felt like being at home. The owners were super friendly and accommodating. We loved it so much that it was not even up for discussion where we were staying this year. Once again every thing was perfect. If you want a beautiful lake front place, in a quiet neighborhood with everything you could want at your finger tips then this is your place.

Perfect getaway

Slice of heaven

We love Lake Chickamauga & this lakefront home is beautiful with all the comforts of home, with amazing views of the lake. The hosts are outstanding, and made every effort to make our trip perfect, which it was! This was our 2nd time staying and we wish we were still there.

Relaxing get away

GREAT PLACE IN MOUNTAINS AND ON LAKE TO RECHARGE

Cabin is in mountains on lake with boat dock. Deck with wonderful view of water and mountains. The Owners have everything you would ever need Even down to canoes Glider on boat dock to gase at water. LOVED IT !

After retiring from a lifelong construction business, we felt like we still wanted to dig into some great remodeling projects. So, we looked for someplace we could really put some sweat equity into and let our creativity fly! We enjoy time at the lake boating, swimming, kayaking, hanging out with friends and family and our German Shepherd dogs, and a great glass of wine while watching the sunsets!

This is a beautiful piece of land with wonderful lake access. We love the trees and yard out front, but the area near the water's edge is amazing year round. It feels remote, but not too far out.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

It's close to Dayton, Athens, Cleveland 20 - 30 minutes, plus within an hour we can be in Chattanooga or Knoxville. Tons of hiking, shopping, restaurants, historical sites, etc. We love the relaxed feel of life by the water!
