This was a charming sweet home that is cared for by the owner so well. Teresa was so kind and accommodating to us, and the home was so clean! The beds are very comfortable and the gas fireplace in the living room is great for chilly nights. There is a beautiful Water and Mountain View, with blue herons and the prettiest eagle flying overhead. We reserved the river house to attend a family wedding at Five Gables, and the venue was an easy 18 minute drive, much closer than staying in Chattanooga. We highly recommend the River House, and our amazing host Teresa.

Great host, provided great snacks which was a nice surprise!! Enjoyed making smores at the fire pit while taking in the spectacular view of the lake! Such a peaceful place to relax and unwind. Kayaking was so much fun and fishing off the dock made our stay perfect!! The house was nicely decorated and cozy! We will stay here again!!

River view!

This was a very nice place to stay! We were in town for a wedding and it was so relaxing to come back and sit on the deck and watch the beautiful sunset over the river and mountain. Will stay here again if we’re in the area!

River Getaway

We enjoyed a week away from our normal hectic lives. The beautiful river views made each day beautiful, and the sunsets even more lovely. We were able to use their dock for our pontoon. We celebrated my husband’s and my daughter’s birthdays. We created many wonderful memories and would definitely stay again.

Cozy quiet lake house

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, it was so quiet in a nice rural setting. The house is well provisioned with everything you would need for your stay and CLEAN! Owner is responsive and easy to deal with and makes checkin and out easy. Will book again for our bext stay in the area.
