Si vous cherchiez votre retraite d'été annuelle, vous êtes tombé sur la dernière et la meilleure offre de la région. notre maison en bord de mer méticuleusement entretenue est suffisamment grande pour accueillir quelques familles ou accueillir ce micro mariage en bord de mer.

Notre plage privée offre un fond de sable et une profondeur d'eau conique pour tous les âges. La vue imprenable sur le lac Michigan depuis notre cour avant vous garantira un début et une fin paisibles à tous les jours de vos vacances.

Notre plan d'étage généreux permet de dormir pour environ 14 personnes. Il a une cuisine complète et demie, trois réfrigérateurs, deux salles de bain complètes et une immense suite parentale. Une attention toute particulière a été portée à cette maison, des boiseries fines au sol en marbre, sans oublier la cheminée en pierre de la grande pièce. Notre maison offre également 2 vérandas fermées et séparées ainsi qu'une grande terrasse extérieure avec mobilier de jardin et barbecue à gaz. Notre objectif est de vous fournir suffisamment d'espace de rassemblement et beaucoup d'espace privé pour votre grand groupe. Nous prenons soin des moindres détails de notre maison, notamment des draps de qualité, des ustensiles de cuisine soigneusement sélectionnés, des lits confortables, y compris un lit pour tout-petit pour le petit et un espace de jeu unique pour les enfants.

Fantastic stay

Great property, private beach and back yard for when kids wanted to play on grass. Beach was well equipped with chairs, tables, firepit, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. House was lovely with alot of thought put into everything. Would definately go back!

Great Stay

Very nice cabin on a beautiful beach. Swimming was fun and the city isn’t too far away. It is near the highway, but the house and trees do a great job of minimizing noise. We all enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again next year. Thank you.

Wonderful home base for a week in the UP

We loved our stay at Sandy Bottoms! Spacious, quiet, clean, and plenty of ways to unwind and relax right by the lake, and the kayaks and paddleboard on the property were fantastic for an early morning / evening ride on the water. Communication with the host was reliable and they were very responsive. Can’t wait to return to the UP again!

Family time

8 adults, 4 kids and we had a lovely time. Kayaks, paddleboards, lovely beach and shallow waters. Kitchen well set up and furnished. Beautiful large table for meals, even outside. Just a lovely time.

Our group, which included several families with children and adults, enjoyed our weeklong stay. The house was clean, and the outdoor space was very nice with plenty of room for family activities. The owner was helpful and accommodating whenever assistance was needed, which we appreciated.Of note - there was a slight musty odor in the carpeted areas, likely due to humidity, that was noticeable to those sensitive. In addition, while communicated in advance, the owner was present on the property at times — both inside and outside — for personal reasons, which felt a bit unusual.Overall, the property offers a comfortable stay with attractive outdoor areas. With a few improvements and clearer boundaries, it could be an even better rental experience

Family Vacation

Everything regarding the house was amazing. Beds were comfortable! House was clean! Loved the views! Only suggestion would be to clean up the beach area for outside fun (weeds and tree roots in sand). Bushes needed trimmed. I think that would help with the biting flies and mosquitoes.

Wonderful Week at the Lake for a Mini Family Reunion

We had a wonderful week on the lake! The house accomodated our family of 11 people with plenty of room for all. There were lots of great indoor and outdoor places to gather. The yard and landscaping were very inviting. Everyone from the 5 year old to the 65+ enjoyed time on the beach with kayaks, paddleboards, floatees, pool noodles, sand toys, chairs, fire ring, etc. The beach was clean and quiet--you can walk for miles along the shore--and the water was fairly calm and not too deep. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed many meals around the table. Everything we needed for a week was there; we only needed to purchase food and personal items. Town is about 10 minutes away. There are places to eat within a mile. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels for both showers and for on the beach. The owners were very friendly and gave ideas about events. They also were very attentive and responsive to us. We could not have asked for a better week. We LOVED Sandy Bottoms! <3

Great beach, comfortable relaxing home

We were two families with teenaged to adult children who had a very enjoyable vacation in this relaxing, comfortable home. There are many places to chat, play a game, or read – throughout the house, sunroom, large deck, beach. The beach is great: soft sand, room to play, chairs. You can walk over a mile along the shore. The lake bottom is sandy and slopes gently, you can wade way out before it's over your head. The house is a spacious old charmer. On arrival it was very clean. We liked the large dining table (seats 8-10) and having plenty of dishes and silverware. The kitchen was the best-equipped of any we've ever rented, and we used the kitchenette which provides a second fridge, sink, and dishwasher. There are a variety of games and a selection of books, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The host was great, texted several times to ensure everything was fine, responded quickly to questions, gave us suggestions for enjoying the area. The house has some peculiarities ... the primary suite is huge, but the other main floor bedroom is a bit tight. Upstairs there is one half bathroom for up to 10 people, and while the two bedrooms are spacious, the three beds in the center room / loft have no privacy. Everyone found their beds to be comfortable. There are only two showers, one in the primary suite and one off the living room (we had 9 people, more adults might have been an issue). We had a super Lake Michigan beach vacation, and would come back to this wonderful house any time.
