Two of the four days the septic smell was bad enough to burn eyes and nose. Kept company by a ton of dead and dying ladybugs with a few flies thrown in. The beds were very uncomfortable. On the bright side the place was cute, with a nicely decorated Christmas tree

The cabin was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed feeding the animals and sitting by the fire pit. We were there for our son’s wedding at Little Piney Lodge and it was an easy travel distance to the venue and a great place to relax and unwind. We would definitely stay ther again if we were in the area.

Love the whole environment the attention to detail and decor in the cabin was amazing. The s’mores basket was great. Loved seeing and petting and feeding the animals my friends and I had a great time and loved the place just what we wanted in a country getaway.

Charming and clean. It was so very nice to be able to give the kids a place to play and relax instead of trying to manage it all in a hotel room. I also appreciate that there was wood pile available for a fire and charcoal there for the grill instead of having to find those things.

We absolutely loved my stay at this property! It was a perfect blend of relaxation and activity, with so much to do right on-site. We found plenty of ways to unwind while also enjoying various activities. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to escape the daily grind. The owners are great people. It was our anniversary and they gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate with.

Relaxing Get Away!

The property was exactly as described. Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed our visit a great deal. We will recommend to our friends and family. If we come back to this area, we would definitely stay again! Beautiful area all around the cabin. The cabin was well stocked, and we had everything we needed.

Great property

This property was a great extended weekend getaway. Exactly what we were looking for. It was quiet, remote but easily accessible, and had many opportunities to enjoy the variety of animals and walking trails in the woods. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed talking with them and learning a little about the area. We used the cabin as a base for various sections of the Katy Trail. This allowed us to have access to several different trailheads within about a half hour drive. Would highly recommend this place!

Third Time and Just As Amazing!!!

This was our family's third stay at the cabin in the past 5 or so years. It has become a family tradition. Many great memories have been made together here. Great hosts too. Looking forward to a fourth visit in the future!

Perfect Cabin Retreat

To start, communication with the owners was so easy and they were super quick to respond. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas, clean, and cozy! We were greeted with a lovely note and wine for our anniversary. Had everything we needed to stay and cook for ourselves all weekend. Cannot wait to book our next stay!

Much needed quiet time

This was our first time staying at a place like this so we had no idea what to expect or what we needed and and didn't need to bring. Everything was awesome! The host had all the bases covered. The setting is beautiful and was perfect for relaxing. We will definitely be back in the future. It was a great experience.

Weekend getaway

The property was amazing. The outside setting was beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was rustic and cozy. Very clean and well furnished. Communication with the host was prompt and informative and friendly. No problems at all. Highly recommend staying here and would most definitely rebook again

Front porch rockin

This home has it all. I love a small cabin in the woods and this one didn't disappoint. An outdoor burn pit, a charcoal grill and sweet horses. The home itself was wonderful! The host even put together a s'mores basket.
