SituĂ© sur un terrain privĂ© de plus d'un acre, ce chalet de 2 chambres offre 75 pi de terrasse surplombant le fleuve Saint-Laurent, mais protĂ©gĂ© pour la natation / le canoĂ« / le kayak. Le quai supĂ©rieur Ă  la moyenne peut accueillir deux de vos bateaux et propose une table de pique-nique. Vous pouvez conduire jusqu'Ă  une entrĂ©e de niveau pour une personne handicapĂ©e. L'intĂ©rieur a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment mis Ă  jour avec un porche de couchage (canapĂ© Ă  lit queen), une nouvelle cuisine, des murs intĂ©rieurs en lambris. C'est sur une route sans issue avec peu de trafic. La baie d'Alexandrie est Ă  11 km. Il y a une laveuse / sĂ©cheuse au sous-sol. Il y a des ventilateurs et un climatiseur de fenĂȘtre et un barbecue Weber. Adjacent Ă  une rĂ©serve faunique de 800 acres avec des sentiers de randonnĂ©e. 1 mile de la marina.

Great Cottage on the St Lawrence

We (two retired couples and our dog) had a wonderful time at the cottage. Nice summer breezes, beautiful sunsets, view of the ships in the channel, overall a lovely cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. There was also plenty of room for our 19ft boat at the dock in the protected cove and we were able to catch a few smallmouth bass at the nearby shoals. Steve and Rox are great hosts. we look forward to returning in the future.

Relaxing Cottage in Fishing Paradise

My friends and I were really impressed with how nice and charming this cottage was. the photo's didn't do it justice and the location is peaceful and gorgeous. We've been coming to this area for fishing for decades but when we lost our regular rental we got this place and couldn't be happier. We had plenty of room for both our boats on the dock. The deck was huge and the place had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The host, Steve was very communicative and made us feel at home. We would definitely rent here again.

We loved the location !! Great sunsets, not to far from town yet very private.

The property was perfect!! We had every amenity we needed and more. We loved our stay!! The owners are friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any of our needs!! I have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and none compared to the availability of literally everything you might need on vacation!!! Would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family!!!

Just the place!

Cozy, quaint and quiet cottage

We fell in love with this cottage as soon as we got there! The inside of the cabin is adorably decorated and cozy! We usually vacation in Canada, but with the border still being closed, we decided to get as close as possible. We’ve definitely found our new vacation spot, and will be back again next year!! The owner was always on hand to answer any questions we had, and even brought us some dvds and popcorn to watch on a rainy day, which was super nice! Beautiful view of the water, close to the Schermerhorn harbor for easy access to launch boats, large dock and beautiful porch with plenty of comfy seating. We did pretty good with fishing too...some of the biggest smallmouth and walleyes we’ve ever caught! Can’t wait to go back!!

We live year round in Rochester, NY but spend many weeks at this location year round, and on our tree farm nearby. We are both retired professionals

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We searched for years for a property in the 1000 Islands and fell in love with this spot because the topography reminds us of the Adirondacks with rock outcroppings and large white pines, yet the cottage is right on the water within 50 feet of the dock and boathouse.. It's very quiet and on a dead end street, so no traffic. Our lot is over an acre, with many mature trees, as is most of our neighbors. We can walk into a 600 acre wild preserve right across the road.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

One can see the St Lawrence main channel from the deck yet the boat traffic is not loud and obnoxious, and you can barely see the neighbors to either side. St Margarete Island out front protects our boats from storms and heavy wakes.
