Thank you so much Erik for your kind words! We were so happy to host such a lovely family, very respectful of our property and the beauty which surrounds us. We are so pleased you enjoyed the activities proposed by Barb and Kyle, and that you took advantage of what the house and area have to offer. We really love having such amazing guests, and we hope you'll visit us again very soon!! Siobhan and Hugues

What a wonderful review Kristen, thank you! We are thrilled that your family had such a great time here; it truly is an unspoiled and marvelous region of Costa Rica. I’m glad you were able to see so much wildlife. The other day while we were eating lunch on the patio we saw two white faced monkeys not 10 feet from us, one of them scampering up the papaya tree to steal a fruit, the other standing guard. Their little escapade was over in a minute, and although we didn’t have time to grab our cameras the memory is certainly etched in our minds! We are up with the sun every morning and find it’s the best time to see many species of hummingbirds, magpie jays, doves, parrots and toucans, to name just a few. Butterflies abound, and of course we have many coatis (pizote in Spanish) who come for a daily visit to see if there’s anything interesting going on. Howler monkeys can be heard daily, and seem partial to making appearances in the trees near the end of the house where our laundry facilities are located. All in all, it’s very difficult to spend a few days here without seeing an abundance of wildlife. Gini is wonderful, isn’t she? After living here for 27 years she knows everyone and everything in the region, and always ensures our guests have the best that the region has to offer. We have her on speed dial! And thank you for the detailed description of the many wonderful activities that can be found in the region. We really hope to see you all back here again very soon!

Diana, Thank you very much, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay:) Please come back and visit anytime, Matt

Thank you Patti, it was lovely having you and your family. Hope to see you again!! Pura Vida, Siobhan and Hugues

Mary Ellen, Thank you for taking the time to let us know how much you enjoyed our home, and we’re so pleased to hear that you’d love to come back. We’re also very happy to know that the one issue you had, had nothing to do with our house and the enjoyment of your lodging or surroundings but rather the short laneway leading to our house . Unfortunately the rainy season was a particularly bad one, and we’re entirely dependent on the municipality as to when they grade it. They told us that would fix it in Dec. but things don’t always move at the speed we’d like in Costa Rica, which on the other hand contributes to its undeniable charm. We’re sure that next time you visit it will be very good! Siobhan and Hugues

Hi Tim, Thank you for coming to stay with us! We're so happy that you enjoyed the house and yes, isn’t the pool marvelous? The friendly wildlife is always a bonus, and we always enjoy the sound of the howlers. We hope you come back soon to Brisa soon! Siobhan and Hugues

Thank you so much Bob for taking the time to review Brisa. We are very pleased you and your family enjoyed the home, the pool and the beautiful area. As you say, Barb is fantastic, and always willing to help with suggestions on what to see, where to eat and the best tour operators to use. We are so grateful to have Barb and Kyle looking after our guests. We hope you’ll come back to visit us again soon! Siobhan and Hugues

Thank you to you and your wonderful family Liane! We are so happy you enjoyed our home, took advantage of the pool, and were able to do lots of activities with your children. Isn't Jaime a gem? We're so lucky to have him (Armonia's caretaker) so close, and of course Barb and Kyle do a stellar job of welcoming our guests and taking care of them throughout their stay. We really hope to see you back at Brisa again soon! Siobhan and Hugues
