Casa Jabalí est un super endroit pour séjourner, très confortable, entouré par la forêt, et à proximité de la plage. Vous êtes en mesure d'aller marcher dans les supermarchés, les restaurants, et le plus important, la plage.

Vous allez adorer cette maison à cause de l'ambiance, l'espace de l'extérieur et l'intimité que vous avez ici. La maison est parfaite pour les couples, les familles, les groupes d'amis et les voyageurs d'affaires.

La maison est située dans un point très particulier, beaucoup d'arbres vous donnera une sensation de fraîcheur combinée avec la brise chaude d'une plage de Costa Rica. Est proche de l'un de l'entrée principale de la plage de Santa Teresa, où vous pouvez louer des tables de surf, vélos, faire du shopping ou manger un casado, mais l'une des choses que vous allez aimer le plus est le coucher du soleil incroyable et les bonnes vibrations de cette magique endroit.

House was exactly as advertised. We only had one issue with the coffee maker and that was quickly remedied. Excellent location and reasonably priced. Would stay again and would definitely recommend.

Great place and location

I stayed here for three nights with my family. This was a fantastic place to stay, very lovely modern home with lots of space, very close to the beach and lots of places to eat and walk to! The host and house manager were very nice and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Property is in a great location, a quick walk up the street from "Eat Street". Centrally located in the town.The property iteself was eveything we needed.There were some ants that came in at night, but as long as we didnt leave food out, it helped mitigate them.The pool was the big selling feature.The biggest downside was the construction going on behind the property. There is nothing the property manager can do, but it did put a damper on the outdoor activities. It was loud, our privacy was compromised.

Loved our time at Casa Jabali!

Surf trip with friends. Location is amazing. Walking distance to the main road (Eat Street is on the corner), along with a small supermarket and other boutique stores. Right across the road is beach access and a good surf spot. The house has everything you need. Private gated parking for two cars, the pool was perfect especially after surfs when the temperature cranks up around noon. All bedrooms are spacious and very clean. Hope to be back soon!

Santa Teresa Surf Trip

This was the perfect house for my friends and I to stay at. The location is fantastic, just a short 5 min walk down a dirt path that takes you to one of the main beach entrances at Santa Teresa beach. The kitchen was well equipped and the AC works very well. Any questions or issues I had during my stay were resolved very quickly by the hosts. I highly recommend Casa Jabali.

Modern house with plenty of space. Large kitchen, 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and great outdoor area and pool. Attentive owner and caretaker available as needed. House located 200 meters from the main street and away from the noise and dust. 5-minute walk to beach and heart of Santa Teresa. Great location.

Excellent! Great house, location, pool - definitely recommend!

House was beautiful, clean, bedrooms get nice and cold with the ac and the fans downstairs keep a comfortable temperature flowing through the house. The pool was exceptional! Hands down the best vacation pool I've experienced - first time in Costa Rica and as silly as it may sounds, the pool depths alone could keep me coming back - deep main area with two shallow sitting areas for lounging. Outdoor space was beautiful as was the home itself. Location could not have been more perfect! About a 200M walk to the main strip of restaurants and shops, or cross that street and you'll continue directly onto the beach access path and you'll be on the beach in another 200M - passing a surf shop where you can rent boards, take lessons, beverage and crafts stands, etc. Communication from the host was smooth and easy, they were available to answer questions as needed. Excellent stay - would love to go back someday.

Jabali House Feb/2025

The house is lovely and well pictured in listing. During our stay, communication with host was excellent. Prior to arrival there were several long waits for responses that made us insecure about our visit but it all worked out in the end. The kitchen has all the basics except no oven, which didn't really affect us. There was sugar, salt and coffee but not much else. There is 1 towel per person. We had 2 power outages where host told us how to reset outside power box and then called utility company. All in all, it was a good experience.

What can we say… Of our 5 houses rented in Costa Rica, this one was not a good experience. Dirty kitchen floors, tons of ants coming in from under the door. we could not see two feet in the pool, which had an unsecured water intake in which our fingers get sucked. When we contacted the manager, she just said the water quality is good for the pool, that they added a product to clear the water. The next morning, the water was still very unclear, she sent the pool boy who dumped a part of a gallon of product, with no results. The ants were just ridiculous, we killed several hundreds, going up the kids legs while watching a movie on the cheap patio furniture in the living room. Excuses and moralisation of the manager that the pool was dirty because of the rain and that ants are normal in Costa Rica because they respect all animals. We left after one night to go to the hôtel which had a pristine pool (even with the same rain…). Great location, the bedrooms were nice, but the bathroom has not been properly cleaned before we arrived.The manager apologised but offered nothing.

Casa Jabali provides an easy walkable location to the main beach in Santa Teresa, as well as restaurants and shops. It's a block or two from the main paved road. The home isn't brand new, and could use some minor maintenance, but it's beautiful, and you can't beat the location. Everything you want is walkable. Worth noting: 1. The dust. The road this property is on is gravel, and traffic up this hill is high during the day. The decks, and patio area collected dust throughout our stay. We swept them or rinsed them off ourselves to try to keep it clean. If you open the three sliders on the main floor to allow breeze in (since the main floor is not air conditioned) you'll be allowing that dust in. If you're not planning to spend time there during the day, no big deal, the sliders stay closed, and no dust collection on the interior. This wasn't ideal, as certain days we wanted to spend time lounging at the house during the day. Something to be aware of. 2. Construction. There is a large property being built behind this home, and the workers start at 7 am every day. This is a short term annoyance, and since they are nearing completion won't be an issue long term. I wish construction would have been noted in the listing.For the dust, I'd suggest a sprinkler on a timer to water down the road during the day to reduce dust. (locals manually do this for their own properties)Overall, we loved this place, and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to Ximena & Jose!

Santa Teresa is definitely worth the drive!

This is a lovely house up the hill from a large beautiful beach. (Be prepared for the dusty roads though - they are everywhere, but the beach more than makes up for the dust!!) We have a couple of suggestions - provide more towels - there were 5 of us and only 4 towels, replace the frying pans as they were well worn, and provide a toaster. Otherwise, we were very happy with this house and it is large enough for 6 people and well equipped. Thank you for sharing your house with us:)

Nice place for a gathering of friends

Had a good time at Casa Jabali. The pros: -Fantastic neighbours -Responsive /attentive property manager -Close to the beach (~5 min walk) -Great relaxing pool -AC and balcony in all bedrooms -Lots of room for everybody -Good wifi The cons: -Some pots/pans were dirty, mouldy smell on arrival (we were probably the first for the season so that could be why) -No communication on what to do with garbage/recycling/compost -Nowhere to hang clothes in rooms -Hot water in showers lasted for about 30 seconds -No blender for margeritas ;) I'm getting nitpicky on the cons... Overall it was a great time and would stay again!
