We are a 15 minute drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, an 8 minute drive from the Blue Ridge School, and minutes from the shops and restaurants of Stanardsville, VA and the award winning Monticello Wine Trail. Full kitchen and laundry amenities, an amazing view of the Blue Ridge mountains from the attached deck, and total privacy. Our family retreat for more than forty years is named after Dr. Frank "Pete" McMains, our grandfather, who built the farm complex. Pete donated 20% of his 50 year career as an orthopedic surgeon caring for severely disabled children pro bono at McMains Childrens' Developmental Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
