We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Monkey Paw in Nevis. The house itself is beautifulâthoughtfully designed, comfortable, and well maintained. The lush, tropical grounds create a true sense of privacy, and the private was perfect for unwinding while surrounded by nature. We loved constant presence of wildlife. Waking up to birds and watching the monkeys move through the trees every day, It was peaceful, immersive, and exactly what we hoped for in Nevis.A great resaturant Bananas is within walking distance.Robert our host was extremely accommodating and responsive, making everything easy from start to finish. Every detail was clearly well cared for We couldnât have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend The Monkey Paw to anyone looking for a private, relaxing, and truly tropical escape. We will definitely return.
My husband and I currently live in South Carolina. We have lived at the beach for over 20 years now. We love living on the east coast with Atlantic Ocean in our backyard. We also love how close the Caribbean Islands are. We have grown children and grand children. Family time is very important to us and we spend alots of time together having fun and creating memories that will last forever.
My husband and I have been traveling the islands. Since we got married in 1987. We began our travel along Mexico and California visiting many places. Then started with islands along the South Carolina coast, then the coastal islands along Georgia and Florida. Next, continued down in the Caymans, all the way to Barbados. We enjoyed all the islands. But it was when we reach the Island of Nevis that we decided to purchase a second home knowing we would be coming back.
The island has amazing crystal clear warm turquoise waters with abundant marine life. With both white and black sand beaches. What really makes this island stand apart from the others is the Tropical rain forest on Mt Nevis. The entire island has something for everyone both water and land! The island is vey small, clean and the people are all very friendly and welcoming
