Maison spacieuse - 4 pâtés de maisons de tramway et St. Charles

Profitez de votre séjour à la Nouvelle-Orléans comme un local dans cette maison à double fusil de chasse néo-grecque des années 1870. Nous sommes situés sur le couloir historique OC Haley et à 4 pâtés de maisons de St Charles et du tramway.

Notre maison est très spacieuse et dispose de 2 salles de bain et 2-3 chambres. La chambre à l'étage dispose d'un lit queen et la chambre en bas se compose de deux chambres conjointes avec un lit queen-size et des lits jumeaux dans l'autre. Il y a de la place pour un invité supplémentaire pour dormir sur le canapé si nécessaire.

Everything about this place deserves a 10/10: location, communication with the owners, parking, the upstairs bedroom has a lot of privacy including its large bathroom, the adjacent bedrooms downstairs are quite large, and the family room and kitchen as well. We did not use the kitchen at all since the location had everything within a mile or two including top rated bakery and coffee shops as well as all sorts of restaurants. We had a great stay!

Wonderful stay. Location is central and made it easy to get around. Easy street parking.The house was so comfortable and the hosts were great. I left some items behind & the host was so very kind and took time out of her Saturday to mail them to me. So appreciative for everything .

If you’re looking for a two bathroom .. this is not it.. we needed to be able to shower in both bathrooms but the shower in the bathroom done stairs does not work. Water pressure is low in the other,

host was welcoming and helped us by bringing a set of keys by after i locked the original set in the house. all amenities were in good working order. house was close to all of the downtown new orleans activities.

This is a fantastic place for a short term stay. It is conveniently located with a spacious living room/dinning room/kitchen. The downstairs two bedrooms are conjoined by a curtain. It is a classic New Orleans design, so you have to walk through the smaller room to get to the bathroom - great if you have kids and want to experience the charm of New Orleans housing! Serving the two downstairs bedrooms, there are no closets, dressers or place to store clothes aside from a small armoire in the dining room to hang a few shirts, shorter dresses and jackets but not for long gowns. The kitchen had everything we needed (excellent refrigerator) and prep island. The downstairs bathroom has a vintage claw foot tub - very cool - but a challenge for people with mobility or balance issues (no grab bars). The air conditioning worked very well as did the wifi, smart TV, and washer/dryer. The upstairs primary bedroom was comfortable, had a large closet (no dresser) and modern bathroom.

Great NO Spot

This is both a great place to stay AND a great location. The house was great. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. This is a great location where 4 blocks gets you to the streetcar, restaurants, and a coffee shop. We'd definitely stay here on a future visit.

Cozy home

We had a great stay in New Orleans. The house was clean and cozy. Plenty of room for our group of 6. The host was very responsive and helpful. The streetcar was a short walk and there was easy street parking right in front of the house.

Wonderful stay!

This was a lovely spacious place to stay in New Orleans. Quiet area but close to public transit and many restaurants. Only downside was that the bed was not super comfortable, but it was on-par with most other places. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating and I would consider staying here again!

The house was neat and clean! We had a little problem with the AC but the owners jumped right on it and took care of our needs! Owners were so easy to work with. The place is well worth it!!

Our stay in New Orleans was pleasurable due to the ideal location. Couple blocks from the Charles Street car and two bus stops on the same block. A very spacious and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood.

So i waited a couple of weeks after we left this place to try to reflect and be sure I didn't leave an unfair review. I own a business so I know how important customer reviews can be. Here's the main deal... this place needs major upkeep, serious cleaning and refurbishment. The porch is rotten, the side and back decks are closed to guest because they have been allowed to rot (can be seen from windows). When we got there the first impression was not good. First you have to get a key out a lock box which is pretty inconvenient with all the modern locks available which would be much easier then a manual key. Secondly once I walked in the place was dim, musky and the furniture looked worn out. As I made my way to the back I started smelling a overwhelming urine oder about half way through the first bedroom. Although everything seemed clean enough, the back bathroom smelled horribly like urine. My wife found old food left in the refrigerator and freezer. I contacted the host who quickly came over and cleaned out the food but claimed to not smell the urine smell. The urine smell persisted through the entire stay. Most of the furniture was broken. The lights on the ceiling fans never worked, the host said they would come fix them but did not. There were stains on the curtains & couch. The dining table was so wobbly we couldn't use it. The upstairs toilet took 30 minutes to refill. The longer we stayed the more filth we noticed. Also infested with ants.

Great location in NO

This is a great place to stay when visiting NO. It’s close to the streetcar and walking distance to several restaurants. The house is large enough to comfortably fit a family of 5. It’s close to the French Quarter by streetcar so you can make multiple trips in a day if you like.

We had a wonderful time, love the fact that we were only 4 blocks for the street car and close to the Garden District. There was a store a block away which was great. The place was clean and had what we needed. Margitta was very responsive. We would defintaly stay there when we go back to NOLA.

Never disappoints

We've stayed here every year for the last 3 years for our annual trip to Mardi Gras. It is in an ideal location to catch the St Charles street car and a short drive to most locations. The house is nicely appointed and the managers are very responsive. We will continue to visit.

Spacious and comfortable

This home was an excellent choice for us and a short walk to the St. Charles streetcar. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking spaces. The rooms are large and kitchen has everything needed to cook meals. The host was easily contacted and assisted me to ensure my suitcase was safely brought inside after the airlines delivered it late. I will be back next year and hopefully rent again. Great home!!

Loved It!

Me and a couple coworkers stayed here during a work trip to NOLA. The house was beautifully kept and clean. The lofted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows gave a bright, airy feel. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and we were able to safely keep our car parked right in front of the house for the week we visited. A short walk to the Garden District and an easy-to-find spot for rideshares. We would definitely consider staying here again if we're ever back!
