Higbee House, chez soi loin de chez soi et puis certains.

Notre grande maison privée méticuleusement rénovée est remplie d'art et meublée avec notre style éclectique. Il y a deux chambres avec leur propre salle de bain. Deux chambres à l'étage partagent une salle de bain. Un espace flexible supplémentaire avec lit de repos est également à l'étage. La belle cuisine gastronomique est ouverte sur le salon et la salle à manger. Bien que la maison ne soit pas conforme à l'ADA, elle dispose d'un accÚs en fauteuil roulant au rez-de-chaussée. Notre maison est dans l'authentique Memphis. Comme nous le disons, "Midtown est Memphis".

Wonderful property! Great home for 3 couples! Plenty of room, comfortable beds and you feel right at home as soon as you walk in! Great location and easy to get to many of the highlights of Memphis. Highly recommend Higbee house and Stewart is a great host!

Great place for Graduation Weekend

We had 3 generations of family members in for Rhodes College graduation. This house was absolutely perfect. Wish I had found this house when my son was a freshmen. It is peaceful, beautiful and well equipped.

Perfect Spot While In Town for Family Wedding

Higbee House immediately reveals a warm and stylish space. It quickly became home for five of us in town for a wedding. We even hosted a little dinner party for the bride and groom. Nice mix of rooms both first and second floor accommodated my 90 year old mother. And we spent a lot of time on the porch. My siblings asked “how do you always find the most incredible places to stay!” Highly recommend.

Beautiful Memphis Home

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful, comfortable, and spacious home—perfect for our group! The location was ideal, with restaurants and shops within walking distance and just a short drive to everything else Memphis has to offer. Communication with Stewart was excellent. Highly recommend and hope to be able to visit again!

The best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in

We were honestly blown away by how amazing this place was
the pictures simply can’t/don’t do it justice. The location was PERFECT for walking to shops and restaurants and morning coffee
It’s right across the street from a precious park/playground (but it wasn’t ever crowded)
the house itself WAY exceeded our expectations - SUPER CLEAN, amazing spaces, the nicest kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental property
less than 10 minutes to Overton Square and 12 min to Rhodes College
The owners were super responsive when my daughter left something behind too! I would absolutely stay here again - and plan to!

Wish we stayed longer

This house was very comfortable and we wish we could have enjoyed it another day or two. It worked out great for our larger group and it had everything one would need. The king beds and pillows were absolutely wonderful to sleep on. The only disappointment was the listing claimed there were 4 king beds but there are only three. Two twin beds in opposite rooms upstairs that were not comfortable to sleep on like the king beds. We were able to walk to a square nearby that had great restaurants/bars.

Great house & location

Wonderfully decorated and functional house. We enjoyed our stay as we hosted our son’s and future daughter in law wedding in Midtown area. We were close to everything and had a bedroom for each family member that stayed with us.

Beautiful Home!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Higbee house!! In a great location, just minutes from everything! The zoo, Bealle st, and baseball field are less than a 10 min drive. The house had PLENTY of space for our 8 adult guests. Theres also a splash pad thing right across the street that we enjoyed on our last night there :-) Stewert was very communicative with every step of the way. Thank you for making this trip so memorable!!

Graceland trip

This vacation rental was amazing. It looked exactly as pictured in the listing. The neighborhood was lovely. The park across the street would be perfect if there are young children in the group. We have been renting and staying in vacation rentals for the past 25 years. This was the best accommodation I have rented. It was perfect.

Best part of our time in Memphis!

I cannot say enough great things about this home, the host and the midtown area. If you are traveling to Memphis, this is where you should stay. This home is immaculate - clean, well stocked, top notch decor, comfy beds and linens, nice, safe location....the list goes on and on. 10 minutes from Beale Street if that's your thing. Cute coffee shops and restaurants are a short walk away. The kitchen is fantastic for cooking breakfast before you start your day. Both a keurig with provided coffee service and a regular pot, lots of hot water for two families and their showers. All around one of the best VRBO experiences I've had and we stay in many properties around the country. Thank you for sharing your home on Higbee!

Best property ever!

I have stayed in many rental properties, and this one easily was the nicest. The home was gorgeously updated, meticulously maintained, and spotless. You can tell that Stewart has put much love into this home. My extended family was in town for a funeral. Stewart graciously ensured we could access the home early after a long drive in, and that my mother could access the back entrance of the house to avoid navigating the front steps. He was woking next door so introduced himself in person. And he left ample instructions for the home so we did not need to bother him during our stay. He has thought of every possible amenity to leave, from baby gates for the stairs, to makeup wipes in the bathrooms. And the neighborhood is very walkable. If the house were available for our next visit we certainly would stay there. If it is available for your visit dates, you should jump at the opportunity as well!

“Girls’” Getaway

Five of us (from 5 different states) retired to the East TN mountains and became great fun loving, curious, lively, adventuresome friends. I wanted to show them the best of the city I called home for 45 years, and Higbee Place was the perfect spot! Centrally located, safe, beautifully appointed and comfortable home. Now my CA daughter wants to bring her friends! Host was extremely accommodating! We want to return! We all Highly recommend.

Amazing home in a great Memphis location!

This home had everything you could ask for. Spacious enough for 7 guests. Quiet neighborhood. Convenient location to all points of interest. Beautifully decorated. Well maintained. Fully stocked with towels, blankets, toiletries etc. Would recommend it in a heartbeat! Stewart was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Thank you!!

Friends in Memphis

We were a party of 6 adults gathering to spend time with one another as we all live in different cities. Memphis does not disappoint. Plenty to see and so many great restaurant choices. I think our favorite though was the Higbee house! A beautiful and comfortable place to gather and visit. We have rented many VRBO houses over the years in many areas. This house is the star. It was by far the cleanest we’ve stayed in, good beds, linens, kitchenware, great location and a gracious host. We will meet here again!

We stayed at the Higbee House for my daughter's wedding. I could not have imagined a better place. The house was comfortable and inviting. It was immaculate! The neighborhood was lovely and walkable. One of our party was mobility impaired and this house worked well. The host was wonderful and very responsive to any requests. I highly recommend staying here with family and friends!
