Belle maison contemporaine en brique sur 1. 93 acres semblable à un parc, y compris des bois durs matures. Plafonds cathédrale avec poutres massives en bois massif. Fenêtres avant au plafond pour profiter d'une vue imprenable sur les montagnes Blue Ridge - également vue depuis la grande baie vitrée de la salle à manger. Tous les nouveaux meubles dans toute la maison. Mise à jour du chauffage et de la climatisation HVAC à l'étage. Chauffage électrique en bas.
Foyer au propane confortable dans le salon. A l'étage a 3 chambres et planchers de chêne partout et deux salles de bain complètes récemment rénovées. La chambre principale a une salle de bain avec douche et une salle de bain avec baignoire et douche. Cuisine récemment rénovée avec des appareils en acier inoxydable, y compris un nouveau lave-vaisselle et une cuisinière électrique en verre avec four à convection. Grande table à manger pour 6 personnes et table à hauteur de comptoir dans les sièges de cuisine 4.
Grande salle familiale au sous-sol avec beaucoup de sièges confortables, table de billard, TV satellite, petit réfrigérateur et grand bureau pour travailler. Aussi, 1/2 salle de bain rénovée, buanderie et une autre chambre avec tennis de table, vélo stationnaire électronique et un autre grand bureau
     À l'extérieur, bel aménagement paysager, gazebo, grande terrasse, petit espace clôturé et garage. Si vous pouvez vous éloigner, le parc national Natural Bridge est à seulement 1,6 km. Baignade et pêche au lac Cave Mountain à seulement 11 minutes. Pratique pour Lexington, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Buchanan, Buena Vista et Glasgow.

This house was exactly as described. I couldn't believe how spacious it was, it was very clean, it was well stocked with supplies so we didn't need to bring pots & pans (and so on). They even had miscellaneous items (toothbrushes for example) in case you forgot something. The yard was a nice size for my dog and I especially liked the rolling gate so she could hang out on the porch in a secured area. Just a note though that if anyone is traveling with young children, there are a lot of knick-knacks sitting around so be prepared to move them to higher ground. I would highly recommend this home and if we decide to travel to this area again, I will definitely stay her again.

This was such a fantastic stay. The house is so clean. The views are beautiful (especially the sunrise over mountains) The property is up on a hill which is lovely because it gives it more of a private feel. There’s a lot to do inside which is awesome for kids and on days when it’s not the best weather outside. I 100% recommend this property. Would absolutely book again.

Stayed for several days over Washington and Lee graduation week. It was a peaceful 15 min drive into town. The house was very very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting in gazebo in the backyard and even commented that sometimes the outside areas could use a good sweeping. This was not the case. We were able to immediately enjoy the outside space. I would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a clean comfortable place to stay.

We had a great stay at the place. We came down for a wedding and it was less than 10 minutes from the location. I recommend the market up the road for lunch.

Perfect Holiday Stay

My daughter and loved the property, the amenities, and location! Being nestled between Natural Bridge and the Blue Ridge made access to great hiking extremely easy. We loved the ping pong table, the pool table, and openness of the floor plan. The kitchen had everything we needed for dinners in, but Lexington proved to be really fun for food too!!The hosts were very communicative and even provided detailed handouts via email prior to arrival!!All in all, we loved it!!

Exactly as advertised and had everything we needed and then some. We skipped a hike just to enjoy the house a bit more. Phyllis and Melvin were excellent hosts. Check-in and check-out couldn't have been easier.

Incredible space, amazing location

We had the best time at this incredible house- it had literally everything we could have needed and then some! Spotlessly clean, exactly as described, easy to get to, and so much to do! Best vacation rental we’ve ever had! Be sure to check out the Natural Bridge General Store just around the corner!

We have lived in this area all our lives. We have admired the house and the setting for years. We never dreamed we would someday own it! When the chance came to buy, we were delighted to be able to make the purchase. It was a dream come true!

It is a beautiful house and we have furnished it with love. The former owners took good care of it and we are carrying that tradition forward and striving to make it even better!

The close proximity to such great adventurous, historical, geological, and magical spaces make it a natural as a vacation rental!

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, two of our greatest founding fathers, have walked these same landscapes and were awed by them. As well, many people from around the world have been attracted to, and visited this beautiful spot. Their curiosity is well-founded!

Here, the Shenandoah Valley narrows in this special place, bringing two ancient mountain ranges close to provide breathtaking views! This landscape cradles special, river-rich, inspiring natural geological spaces for all of us to treasure and enjoy! Do not miss this journey!

Beautiful view and park-like setting, close proximity to many historical, interesting, and fun spots to visit.

Lovely landscaping with gazebo, large deck with roll-out gate to keep small children and pets contained, wheelchair ramp, pool table, ping pong table, electronic exercise bike, and large family room, spacious kitchen, living room, & dining room.

All new furniture, mattresses, bedding and towels, bought in 2020. Clean, comfortable, sanitary, and restful!
