The Tower House was perfect for our family’s trip to Cornell to celebrate our son’s graduation. Plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, well-stocked kitchen & lots of living space to gather. The outside grill & seating area was perfect for the fall-like weather & a celebration dinner. Nicole was an excellent host & was always available to answer questions. A true highlight of our trip!! Graduation weekend

The house is charming and very comfortable. We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoyed making a big breakfast in the well-stocked kitchen each morning. The host left a welcome note and a binder of info which answered all our questions.

Gorgeous Home

The home is very much as described, plenty of room - inside and out. Absolutely clean, everything we needed and more. Nicole couldn't have been more responsive on our questions. Wish we didn't have such a busy schedule while staying for the weekend so we could have enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and enjoyed the view even more. Truly a wonderful stay.

Cornell Wedding

We rented this amazing property for our daughter's wedding at Cornell. It was a perfect spot for staging all of the weekend's activities. The hosts were awesome and helped us have a truly one in a lifetime experience! We can't recommend the property enough if you are getting together with family and/or friends! Can't wait to get back! Absolutely Beautiful Tower Mansion!!!

This home was perfect for our extended summer vacation. We felt right at home in this very large and elegant home. Nicole was very attentive answering any questions we had as well as very helpful with recommendations. Over the two weeks several of our family visited for a night or two and there was plenty of room and many beautifully appointed bedrooms to accommodate everyone. The outdoor entertaining areas are plentiful and perfect for enjoying the surrounding nature. The home is perfectly located as a home base to explore all the surrounding area has to offer. We highly recommend this beautiful property and hope to return soon!

Host was super friendly, accessible, and easy to work with.House is gorgeous.  It's a huge, fun Victorian with many spaces and hang-out areas.  Furnished beautifully.  We had 9 adults showering and I kept waiting for the hot water to run out, and it never did!  All bathrooms were very nice (we didn't know about the 1/2 bath downstairs so that was a fantastic surprise). Great fully-stocked kitchen.  All the mattresses were excellent. We were gathering for a wedding and it was so meaningful to be able to hang out together in such a beautiful space.  Everyone kept saying how perfect the house was.  Would definitely stay here again.We didn't use any of the outside areas (too hot).

I graduated from Cornell Arts and Sciences '87 and fell in love with the area way back then. For the past 8 years, we have been fixing up old houses, mostly for local long term rentals. We have a couple special houses that we just had to share with everyone, our 1916 Farmhouse in Burdett and this 1879 Victorian in city gem!

The Tower House is perfect for your special gathering or event, whether you are local or from out of town. It is large enough to accommodate a large group or families traveling together and has both formal and informal spaces for whatever your plans may be. The property is the perfect mix of proximity to downtown and the colleges while being surrounded by 2 acres of gardens and woods. You can share your morning coffee with the deer while looking at the view of Cornell across the lake.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Elegance, comfort, views, space and a location that can't be beat! The fireflies in the garden are like nothing I have ever seen and outdoor spaces are spectacular. This home is ideal for a family gathering or friends coming together. I envision events in the gardens, art openings in the big dining room, special wine dinners with guest chefs cooking at the Viking range, live music in the living room.
