2 bedroom home walking distance to beach, park, marina, restaurants and shopping

As the property owner I check our reviews regularly and will take the time to respond to unhappy guests. I do value feedback from our guests and have made improvements based on past guest reviews. As a very hands on owner, I’m only a 4 hour drive away from the property, during the peak rental season ( 4/1 - 10/31 ) I make it a point to stay at the house 3-4 days every other month to make sure it’s clean, stocked and that any issues are properly addressed. 1) The property is outdated. a) It’s a cozy home in the woods. With a double in wall convection oven, glass induction stovetop,fully stocked kitchen, Keurig coffee maker,fireplace, screened outdoor dining area, new Webber grill, 85 gallon commercial hot water tank new last year, Solo Fire pit, new TV etc…, true it is an older home. We still use it as our family home when it’s not being rented . So I’m fully aware of its condition at all times. 2) Toilets are too small and low, need to be replaced. Bathrooms are especially outdated! b) All the plumbing works and I’m assuming you were able to shower, brush your teeth and use the toilets? c) The towels, well it’s a rental I purchased towels from Target. Sorry no Turkish or Egyptian cotton quality. They did dry you off properly after your shower though. 3) Kitchen utensil in poor condition, no drip coffee maker. d) I personally replaced all the cookware, glass ware, kitchen utensils in the last year. e) We chose to provide our guests with a Keurig coffee maker, and supply 3 different variety of Kcups. 4) Blankets did not fit the King Bed. f). Brand new King Size goose down comforter ,duvet and pillows from The Company Store. Sheet and pillow cases are provided by the rental management. 5) Cream colored carpet gross and stained. House not clean. g) I have the carpets professionally cleaned and stain treated / guarded every year. Sometimes more than once . As we do allow guests to bring dogs into our home.If the carpets are in the horrid condition you described I would have been notified, by housekeeping and the management company would have had them cleaned. 6) Curtains too short for windows. Yes they are, a bit. The windows were custom made when the house was built .They are just a longer window. The curtains do close and provide privacy in the rooms they are in. Vampires may have an issue though. I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay at our home. Maybe a nice characterless, sterile hotel with noise and no beautiful views is more suited to your vacation needs.
