The house was conveniently-located with a lovely view from the back deck. The only issue was that it is a duplex and the renters in the next unit were quite loud.

The interior is really cute and made me happy to come back to at the end of the day. The furnishings and linens were lovely and chic--the whole place was cozy and comfortable. I was a bit nervous at first with the laundromat across the street and the liquor store two doors down but it turned out to be fine. It was quiet, we felt safe, and almost always found parking right in front. It is super close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Great central spot in the SLO area

Comfortably fit our family of 6. Clean, cute. Good central area. A few blocks from Morro Bay Embarcadero. Very walkable and easy beach cruiser bike riding. About 20 min away from lots of attractions- Cayucos, Avila, downtown SLO, Pismo, etc.

Best location in a great home

The home is incredibly clean and spacious. My kids loved playing in the livingroom and their beds. The home is in the perfect place nearby all the good food places and the embarcadero. We were able to avoid driving since everything was in walking distance. The backyard was big and would've been a great place to play (it was raining that week, so we weren't able to play much)I will be sure to book here again.

Great location

We had a great stay in this charming home. Located within easy walking distance of multiple restaurants, the beach and a grocery store. While the street located directly in front of the house has a 2 hr limit on parking Mon-Sat, it was very easy to find parking only a block away. The neighborhood is very quiet im at night with just the sound of seagulls. It was a great spot to be located to see both north and South county and only 15 mins from San Luis Obispo. We'd happily stay here again!

Comfortable with a great location

We have vacationed in Morro Bay for years and this was, by far, the best place we have stayed. Conveniently located near cute shops and restaurants, the house is neat and uncluttered with all the things you need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back!

Great Location

This house is located just a couple of blocks from the sea where you can find a plethora of restaurants and shops. The grocery store is just a few blocks away. It's located within walking distance of the Morro Bay rock where you can explore the State Park and watch the surfers. It's also conveniently located to hundreds to wineries, the Hearst Castle, Paso Robles and San Luis Obisbo.

Perfect location Duplex

We stayed at one unit and our friends stayed at the unit next door. The units are clean and comfortable and are perfect for traveling with friends or family while still giving a sense of privacy. There is a huge back yard that both units have access to which we loved. The back deck is expansive (it could use some comfortable seating), but the view of the rock is amazing. We loved that the place is just blocks off the Embarcadero and right amid downtown Morro Bay. The place is thoughtfully staged with all one needs plus information for just about any questions you may have. We will definitely be visiting again.

Nice place in fun neighborhood.

Pictures are accurate. Spacious and well appointed. Can walk to many restaurants and too many coffee shops to count. Few block walk to Morrow Bay. Only slight negative would be front of house faces laundromat and property is right next to convenience/liquor store (might be a positive! ;-). We would stay again.

Short getaway with family

2nd stay at 897 Monterrey in Morro Bay and just like last time we had a great time. This time the trip was to reunite with our two kids - one came down from San Fran - a Cal Poly grad and the other a freshman at Cal Poly. Love this little house. Short walk to Top Dog or Daisy's coffee in the morning and close to the sea otter and the rock.

Great place to stay in Morro Bay

Everything was great with our stay. Check in was easy and my family enjoyed our trip. The location was great for easily walking to the embarcadero to access many restaurants. The only drawback was that the property is on the same block as a liquor store, which often had people loitering outside.
