As soon as I learned that the building work might overlap with your stay, I reached out to you, explained that scaffolding could still be present, discussed the possibility of intermittent noise and privacy concerns, and sent photos so you could see the conditions in advance. Because the timing of the project was controlled by the building and remained uncertain, I also made sure you had the option to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund if you felt the circumstances would not be comfortable for you. After having that information, you chose to continue with the stay. When you later expressed concerns about the construction, I offered a substantial accommodation equivalent to eight complimentary nights. I certainly understand that construction can be inconvenient, and I wish the project had been completed before your stay as originally expected. At the same time, I felt it was very important to be completely transparent with you beforehand and to give you every opportunity to decide whether you still wished to come.
